"The red bus stop is right at your door step! And there is a large commercial area nearby in rosebank. If you want to go to the airport, the most affordable and safest train is just 1 mins away. Staffs are super hospitable and friendly. Definitely recommended!"

"Le New Hotel Parktonian est situé dans le quartier de Bramfontein dans le centre de Johannesbourg. Bien que ce quartier soit réputé comme sûr dans les conseils aux voyageurs sur le site du Ministère des Affaires étrangères belges, les abords directs de l'hôtel laisse à désirer. Je ne vous conseil pas de vous y rendre avec le Gautrain jusqu'à Park et puis marcher. Il est préférable d'appeler un Uber ou un inDriver (moins cher) de l'aéroport à l'hôtel. L'hôtel est très grand et sûr, un agent de sécurité ouvre les grilles quand une voiture se présente, n'importe qui ne rentre pas dans cet hôtel. La chambre est très spacieuse, il s'agit d'une suite avec un lit confortable, la climatisation, un sofa, une TV écran plat et une bouilloire avec thés et cafés à disposition. La salle de bain est correcte même si le pommeau de douche ne fonctionnait pas très bien. On y trouve un nécessaire de toilette gratuit, des serviettes propres et un sèche-cheveux. J'ai apprécié mon séjour."

"The hotel apartments are situated in a great location. Everything seemed to be going well until the first night. There was a lot of noose coming from the corridor and outside due to a construction site. When someone in another apartment unit was showering, I could hear the water running while in my room (early hours of the morning). Would assume that since guests stay there that the windows would be insulated against noise. The bedding wasn’t clean - felt sandy and extremely itchy. I had red marks on my arm after my stay which makes me wonder if there were bed bugs."

DDan SudakovThe best hotel in Johannesburg. Safe area, great shopping center nearby. Polite staff, pleasant guests. Check-in was quick, renovations are excellent. I had a wonderful time here, too bad I only stayed two nights. One downside: there were issues with payment. I had already paid for the hotel on Trip.com, but reception said the payment hadn't been processed yet. I had to mail the receipt to the hotel employee. Only the next day did they tell me there were no problems and the hotel had been paid.

The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of fresh, delicious options, and every meal I had at the restaurant was of excellent quality. The facilities, including the gym, pool, and spa, are well maintained and add tremendous value to the overall experience.
What truly sets The Catalyst apart is the exceptional customer service. Every member of staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable, always greeting guests with a smile and a willingness to help.

NNKAYIt was lovely. Staff were friendly and accommodating and arranged airport pickup. The breakfast was lovely as well as room service. Will definitely stay here again if visiting Jhb. 💕❤️ The rooms were clean although amenities needed to be requested suxh as robes, slippers, shower gel, shampoo etc - not really nice after a long flight. As well as water, so if this could be provided first that would make it even great.

Holiday Inn was full so this was a close alternative.
Had amenities but their outlets were in the kitchen far from the bed? Not very business traveller or relaxing traveller friendly.
I booked a queen studio which had a kitchenette which was great for warming food etc. Decor a bit tired so could do with some love. But apart from a very dirty bottle left on the balcony it was clean.
Location is excellent for Rosebank Mall even if you have to play chicken to cross the road 😆
Customer service was severely lacking. I thought Radisson Red staff were slow but at least they were always there. You can't call frontdesk . It's all QR codes and WhatsApp. Late check out would be the cost of another night R1980. Staff had a, I dunno attitude and werent very helpful. 1 security guard and 1 young lady in the lounge are the only exceptions. Outlets in the lounge and office were local only and I had to really ask to get where I could buy adapters / converters.
Next time I'll go elsewhere. They're not customer focused enough for me.
