Stayed here on the way to a carnival cruise trip so I didn’t have to travel far or hit traffic the following day. Mobile check in didn’t work for me and had to approach the front desk. Bed was good and restive. There was a faint smell to the room that may be nauseating for others but it was ok for me for what I wanted from the stay.

HHannJust needed to stay one night to catch a flight the next morning. Front desk was very friendly and helpful. The room was a bit cramped but was overall fine. Breakfast was nothing fancy but was also fine. More options than I thought there would be. The traffic was a bit alarming in the morning getting to the airport. Would recommend leaving early to allow for time.

It's a mere 10-minute drive away, which made it incredibly convenient for someone like me who had to catch an early morning flight. The hotel also provides a free shuttle service to and from the airport, which was a nice touch. The check-in process was efficient, and the staff at the front desk were courteous and welcoming. The lobby area is clean, modern, and well-designed, creating a favorable first impression. I stayed in a standard room, and it was clean and well-maintained. The bed was comfortable, and I appreciated the extra pillows provided. The room had a decent view and was adequately spacious for a solo traveler. The bathroom was also clean and stocked with the necessary amenities. One of the highlights of my stay was the on-site restaurant, The Bistro. The food was surprisingly good, and they offered a variety of options for breakfast and dinner. The staff at the restaurant were attentive and provided excellent service. However, I found the prices a bit on the higher side. The fitness center was well-equipped, and I was able to maintain my workout routine during my stay. The hotel also has a small outdoor pool, although I didn't have the chance to use it during my stay. The only downside to my experience was the noise level in the hallways and adjacent rooms. JJosephWOW....THIS IS A GREAT PLACE......AND CHEAP!!! We wanted to be close by the Catalina Express and also the NCL Cruise ship as we are doing both.... The host here is very friendly....we arrived 3 hours early so she let us put our bags in the office and she gave us some great food ideas....so we ate lunch and then went on the USS Iowa moored just a mile away....WOW WHAT A GREAT SHIP TOUR......well worth the price....took us about 3 hours.......A LYFT one way is less than $10 or you can take the city bus,,,but the wait is about 45 mins....Cab is just over $10..........This place is so clean and well taken care of and seems to be very quiet.....The neighborhood is full of places to eat....I dont think the neighborhood is to bad either,,,,use common sense as always and stay on the main streets and I bet you will be O.K.

The staff were very friendly and accomodating, they were able to let us check in a little earlier than usual which was great as we had just got off a 14 hour flight and very jetlagged/tired. Rooms looked recently renovated, very clean and tidy. Aircon was nice to have on. Overall not much to complain about. There was a smell (cleaning/perfume/flowers?) which is mentioned in other reviews, however we didn't find this unpleasant at all and got used to it. Having the Airconditioner on seemed to reduce the intensity. Only downside is that it's a bit of a distance from tourist areas (15-20mins by Uber) so if you don't mind, this is a great place to stay.

PPengguna TetamuExactly what I was looking for in Los Angles. Stopped in Los Angles for the weekend before heading to Hawaii. I wanted a hotel that was decent and in a good location without the crazy cost associated with LA. I typically don't want to throw a ton of money at a hotel as we just use it as a place to sleep and shower. To that end, Wilshire Crest fit the bill to a T. Big room, nice bathroom renovated recently with good Wi-Fi. It appears to be a renovated apartment complex. No real view of the city, our room overlooked the courtyard. Plenty of light. Individual AC and mini fridge in the room. There were not a ton of plugs to be found, think studio apartment. No USB that I saw. It is a 2 story building without an elevator so if that is an issue, please let them know ahead. The carpet may have been a bit dated, but I found it to be clean an kept up nicely. We had no problems checking in. There is on street parking included, and we were able to find a place quite close every time we went out. Bag breakfast was left by the door after 7am. Sort of a Continental Breakfast with some additional yogurt and bananas. The desk was manned all the time, and the door was locked at night, but staff was very pleasant and responsive to anything we needed. It was walking distance to a few restaurants one block away, but the street it is on was very quiet. If you simply want a nice place to stay while in LA, I would highly recommend Wilshire Crest.

Lots of food then thrown out, it was like packaged scrambled egg, small overcooked mini sausage, and diced fried potato. Lots of overseas guests cane after 9-00am no food? People leaving before 7-00am missed out as well! Room was okay and bathroom was very clean!

PPengguna TetamuBooked this hotel cause it said they had a pool got there, and they closed up the pool a year ago or so. The elevator would get stuck in between floors. The breakfast was very small, only enough room for maybe 3 people to get their breakfast. Other guests would have to wait outside until the room would clear out. And the future was very old, paint on future was chipped off. The mattresses are old and stained. The pictures on their website shows a really nice rooms.We were stuck there with no car. We will NEVER EVER stay there again. I paid almost $1500. for 8 nights. Not worth it at all. We were so disappointed.
