Location Very central in Thamel, within walking distance to key areas, restaurants, and festival venues. Ideal when the city is busy due to events like NIFF (held April 2–6, 2026 in Kathmandu). Check-in and support were smooth, even during high-traffic festival days. Modern hotel in a location where cars can easily drive to, which may not be the case for some lodging in Boudha. Staff were attentive and friendly. The room & bathroom were spacious & lighting was more than sufficient. Do note that contrary to what is currently stated on the hotel’s website, there isn’t a restaurant on the rooftop. The hotel is a short stroll to the stupa. The breakfast buffet was decent with vegetarian options available. All in a happy stay for me.

Nice hotel with best service! Really enjoy the stay at here. And after trekking I'm super tired. And guess what, I got FREE UPGRADE for my room !!! 🥰 Feel safe even though I'm solo. As they have a security guard at the lobby. And the staff and owner are super nice and welcoming

Absolutely in love with the hotel. From checking in to checking out, we were attended by really great staff. We were first greeted with a scarf/shawl/cloth and given a welcome drink. Luggage was send to the room for us and breakfast was really good!! They prepared a birthday and anniversary celebration for us too! We had such a great time. Room was really clean and spacious! View from room was good too! Spa wasn’t great, not worth the price but I Would definitely recommend staying at this hotel.

If you're staying in Kathmandu, this hotel is a good choice. The best thing about it is that it's a new hotel (opening in 2024). Everyone, including the staff, spa staff, and breakfast staff, is very cooperative. Also, everything is well-maintained, including the showers and toilets in the rooms, Wi-Fi, electronic key cards, and internet TV. I'm sorry to say that other hotels tend to be a little older, with broken, slightly dirty, or non-working electronic devices. While it's true that older hotels have gardens and great locations, they can't compare to newer facilities. The breakfast had a nice view, too. 私は海外在住の日本人です。お子様連れの方には静かで落ち着いてるこのホテルを薦めます。もちろん一人旅も。

Clean. Nice selection of breakfast. The concierge was professional and helpful. The valet staff was very helpful with the taxis. The reception desk staff was not quite familiar with his work. 1. Couldn’t find my booking. 2. Miscalculated the number of nights to stay 3. Didn’t realize the room was prepaid and was going to charge again. But he acknowledged his mistakes.

Stayed at Flock Hostel Kathmandu and overall it was a pleasant experience, especially for budget travellers and solo backpackers. The location is quite convenient — easy to reach by taxi or InDrive from the airport, and close to Thamel area. The hostel has a calm, friendly atmosphere despite being in the city. Perfect if you want somewhere simple to rest after long walks around Kathmandu. I stayed in an 8-bed dorm. The room was clean, bed was comfortable enough, and lockers were provided. Bathrooms were shared but generally clean and usable. Hot shower was available, which is really appreciated after a long day out. The staff were very friendly and helpful, always smiling and willing to answer questions or help with directions and transport. The common area is nice for chilling, meeting other travellers, or just resting quietly. This is not a luxury place, but for the price, it’s good value for money. Suitable for backpackers, solo travellers, and anyone who prefers a relaxed, social hostel environment. Nice hotel in the city center with all the conditions I need. There is a good restaurant on the top, and the coffee shop on the ground floor. The service was perfect, the men from reception, his name is Birendra, allowed me to leave my belongings while I was on track, and helped me with all the questions I had.

The hotel is perfect location 20 min drive from airport. Hotel is Amazing,like room is big ,bathroom amenities all very useful, service is excellent,and breakfast has a lots of variety and testy as well .value of money

C’est un superbe hôtel , l’emplacement est bon et c’est très calme . Ils sont très accueillants et souciants . J’ai été traité comme un roi . Juste que l’eau dans les toilettes sent pas bon du tout c’est le seul défaut de l’hôtel . Et aussi j’ai réclamé un changement de drap et couvertures le gérant m’a promis mais il l’a pas fait , j’ai du dormir 5 jours sur la même couverture
