"I booked Hotel AC Mist through Goibibo for a family trip to Munnar. I was really disappointed with what I found. The place wasn’t really a hotel—it felt more like a dormitory inside a Christian hostel. When I arrived late in the evening, there was no one at the reception. After calling multiple times, someone finally showed up and let me in, but the room he gave us was tiny, had no fan, and definitely no air conditioning like the listing said. I had booked the room for two adults and two kids, but the room was cramped and in a dark, poorly lit part of the building, which made me worry about my kids’ safety. The overall atmosphere was really uncomfortable. When I tried contacting Goibibo’s customer care, there was no response, so I had to find another hotel last minute and pay extra. I told customer service about this, but they said there was nothing they could do because it was a non-refundable booking. That felt unfair since the place was nothing like what was promised online. I just want other travelers to know the truth before they book here."

"This is one of the worst hotel. Never book this. I have booked for 2 days but checked out in one day. This is a typical hotel not the resort. I booked this stay expecting a resort experience as listed on MMT, but it turned out to be just a hotel. • The room size is not as advertised on MMT; it is much smaller than the advertised 190 square feet. • The washroom is too small, making it difficult to use comfortably. Water os dirty. • The room had an unpleasant odor upon arrival. • The toilet flush was not functioning properly. • Despite being listed as a 3-star hotel, it does not even meet the standards of a 1-star establishment. Breakfast was testless"

"We didn't actually stay at this hotel. However, they do offer half-day and full-day hiking tours around Munnar, and we opted for the full-day experience. Our guide was Felix, and we set off punctually from the hotel. We hiked directly uphill through the tea plantations to the highest point. Once at the top, Felix served us a delicious breakfast of omelette, toast, and fresh fruit. The views were stunning! Felix thoughtfully left us to enjoy our breakfast while he went ahead to scout the path. Afterward, we faced a very steep and slippery descent through tall grass. It was quite challenging, as it was difficult to see where we were stepping. However, the remainder of the path was well-maintained. It was a beautiful hiking trail with lovely viewpoints. We also appreciated that Felix took us to another viewpoint for lunch, where he served us bread with a delicious potato curry. Felix was thoroughly professional as a guide throughout the tour. For instance, when we were having breakfast, he left us to scout the path ahead. He actually discovered a dangerous water buffalo, and we paused for about 30 minutes until the area was safe. Additionally, when one participant felt so unwell that they had to cut the hike short, Felix immediately attended to them and arranged for a tuk-tuk to take them back to the hotel. We had a fantastic time and highly recommend this hiking tour!"

"We loved the stay, we chose the tree house which was a beautiful experience that I never had before experienced. Seating in the balcony watching the mist was wondering. Watching and hearing the beautiful birds was a magical experience. The tea Mountain were the most wonderful experience ever, the staff were very helpful always there to assist you. It is surely a place to experience as it is located in the highest place in Moonar."

"This is already the 4th hotel in India where I lived, and the best for me. Firstly, stunning views, very beautiful and well-groomed area, a lot of entertainment inside the hotel: evening tea and snacks (always something new) + beautiful music, hiking, Indian cooking demo or how to make figures from towels, night bonfire with music and dancing, outdoor pool, swing, lots of benches and tables to sit outside, the opportunity to practice yoga. At first we lived in a villa with a pool, it's amazing, worth all the money! We regretted not taking more days in this room. Then we lived in a spacious room with a balcony. Everything worked fine, all the ports for electricity, a lot of lamps to make different lighting, excellent water pressure, everything was clean, room has 2 fans and air conditioning. For any of our questions, there was an instant answer and help: to deliver water to the room or additional bathroom accessories, or to clean up, or fix something (groan of our door to the bathroom, the shower near the toilet was incorrect). Even when I just wanted to learn how to put on a saree, they immediately sent me a cute girl Anila, who painstakingly taught me and in the end dressed me very beautifully. In general, I would like to say about the staff. When we first arrived at the hotel, we were greeted at the door, like in Russia with bread and salt, only in Indian way (so nice!), + immediately they offered pineapple juice, surrounded with attention and care. All the time we lived, we communicated most with Arun, this *** is a diamond, always positive with a smile and helped us in everything, and he is a very handsome ***. He's taken away all the problems with the taxi service, we did not pay penalties (we wanted to take a jeep safari, but an hour before the appointed time, we realized that we were very tired and canceled the trip). Also, during our stay, Fathima and Shilpa constantly helped us. Very friendly, kind and beautiful girls. I would like to note Nithin, who on the first day spent a tour of the hotel's garden and tea plantation for us. He is always such a radiant young ***, it was pleasant to talk to him, with him and with Saif (both practice at the hotel). I would also like to note the staff in the restaurant, clean the tables as quickly as possible, bring water, bread or cutlery. And as we were always met at breakfast and dinner, it's incredible, we come to such a place with pleasure. I would like to note the girl who helped us more often and knew the number of our room by heart, unfortunately, we do not remember her name (shamefully), but it looks like Selina. About food. Upon arrival, I was asked what I prefer to eat. I simplified the task: I only eat Indian vegetarian food, even spicy. And for me everything was varied and very tasty. And at special demo classes we were taught to cook. Fancy! I will return to this hotel with joy and great trepidation when I will visit Munnar again.
