"Liked · Beautiful and stylish art-deco style hotel with modern touches, and you can feel that it's newly renovated. The location of this hotel is great, right in the heart of Perugia and right in the main shopping street leading up to the main town square. The overall ambiance in this hotel is great! Breakfast was very good, with many fresh options to choose from and a very nicely and dreamy decorated breakfast room. We really enjoyed the fact that you could have breakfast up untill 11.00 o'clock, as this gives you the opportunity to sleep in if you like to. The restaurant waiting staff was also very kind and welcoming. The room is spacious enough and very clean. We got some local chocolates as a welcome gift, and the room came with one complementary water bottle a day. There was also a clothes steamer in the room which was quite nice, as clothes can come out of the suitcase quite wrinkled. Disliked · During check-in, we were said to be given a free room upgrade. However, when arriving in the room, I could not see what the upgrade was as this appeared to be the exact room type that we booked. Still a great room though! We knew this when booking in advance but a small minus when travelling by car is that this hotel has no private parking. However, you could use public parking Piazza Partigiani down the hill, which is only a small walk and can be reached in 5-10 minutes by taking about 5 escalators. The AC in the room was a bit strong, as it was pointed right onto the bed. As we had a room on one of the high floors, the room heat up quite fast. Also, the room came with an enormous terrace but there was no outdoor furniture."

"Very, very dated hotel, very old interiors, dirty carpet, dirty room walls with obvious marks, the air conditioning that we didn't use had the fan completely covered in dust, unusable, shower with folding doors very small, clean sheets and towels, very thin walls, you can hear everything, breakfast sufficient, I definitely wouldn't go back, it's definitely not 3 stars, helpful staff, convenient to the center"

"Not close to Perugia, this is a resort hotel. If you're not local, it's not worth making a special trip. It's an old property, and it seems like it hasn't been well-maintained recently, with a musty smell. One of the glass cups in the room had clearly been used, and there was a broom consistently left outside the room door. The breakfast quality, however, was good."

"I booked this hotel because I wanted to watch Ishikawa Yuki's volleyball match in Perugia. I was able to get to the match venue in less than 30 minutes using the mini-metro. It was a very cute hotel, and the bathrooms were clean. Also, an espresso machine and bread were prepared in the room, and although I had to leave early the next day, I was grateful that I could get up early and have a leisurely breakfast. The only things that bothered me were the noise of the ventilation fan and the lack of curtains, but these weren't particularly big issues. Above all, the owner was very kind. He even told me what to do if I got home late after visiting tourist attractions or watching a volleyball match, so I was able to stay there in a very comfortable and safe environment."

"After a long time without taking a vacation, I had chosen this property online, which already looked promising from the photos. Already after the first phone calls for the reservation, the kindness and professionalism of Mrs. Francesca made me anticipate the future stay. On the day of check-in, everything represented in the photos materialized before my eyes: a wonderful Nature with a dense forest adjacent, a lawn and various flowering plants that surround the property. The additional surprise was the terrace in front of the hall from which you have a spectacular view of Perugia and where we had breakfast every morning. Every day that we visited a location we returned to the property to rest before dinner; it had become our oasis of peace ... in fact, to tell the truth, more than one morning we risked being late for breakfast due to the excellent night's sleep. Cleanliness, friendliness but above all experience and professionalism are guaranteed! As I specified in the title, unlike many misleading photos of locations here we had a truly satisfying experience and we will definitely return if we ever come to Umbria again. See you soon 👋👋🤗"

"At first glance, the bed in the room allocated to us appeared spacious; but it was just two worn out single mattresses shoved together. One mattress had a significant dip; it should have been thrown away a long time ago. It would have been more comfortable sleeping on the floor -unfortunately I did not bring my ground mat and sleeping bag. The shower cubicle was a little shabby with some tile grouting discolouration. The toilet pan had a degree of scratching/staining - probably limescale. I could not find one English speaking tv channel -so this is not an International hotel in that sense. There was often noise from the reception area and from the bar space until around midnight or 1am. The road was not busy, but due to the hotel's proximity to the road, traffic noise was a further disturbance throughout the nights."

"What a great base to explore Umbria. Federico was a brilliant host, attentive and informative. When we expressed interest he went out of his way and took time to show us the property and all of the precious antiques, some dating from the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. The room was very large, the bed was really king sized and very comfortable, and the shower was the best we have had in all of Italy. We appreciated the secure off road parking. The common areas were very comfortable and the breakfast was fine, the sweets were made fresh every day by Federico's mother Mariella and served by his father Leandro! The location was perfect for exploring the beautiful Umbrian countryside, from Assisi to Orvieto to Spoleto and everything in between. We stayed four nights and would have loved to stay longer. A highlight of our trip!"

"A decent hotel but personally not worth the price. The bar was constantly closed and we had to ask the front desk just to make a coffee, even over the weekend when you think they would want to make money. Location is no man’s land with some groceries and a highway next to you VERY far from center. WiFi was ok, some issues going out and in. The pool was the highlight as we had it to ourselves for both days. Room cleaning was nice and prompt, what we would expect. Personally both days we woke up with horrible allergies likely from their poor ventilation system. Could not open windows due to a sign from hotel suggesting Beatles would get in seasonally. Not justified for the price, just ok."

Large bedroom, decent bathroom with powerful shower, separate sitting room & even a small armoire with hob, microwave, sink etc. Storage & charging facility for bikes available and a very nice pool. A relatively small selection for breakfast but everything was good quality including home made cakes."

"Me & my partner visited Perugia two weeks ago for the first time. The two brothers at reception were extremely helpful in teaching us how to navigate around the city. They also helped us buy and print out football tickets to one of the games which was a nice touch! I've stayed in many hotels around the Europe and in the UK, and never had an experience where the host is so helpful and interactive with the guests, but it was a great bonus in all! The hotel itself is in a great location. It is around 5 minutes up the escalators to the main city centre but also a little downtown to allow you to visit more authentic and rural sites! It is also right next to the bus station that takes you to different cities, which we used to go to Florence and also a vineyard for the day! The hotel is a beautiful historic building, very unique to the modern commercialised places which I personally appreciated. Was a fabulous hotel and I recommending to any travellers looking to explore Perugia in the best way possible!"
