Hotel City Inn is a great hotel option in Pokhara. The hotel is just steps from Phewa Lake but is located off the main road which reduces traffic noise. The beds are comfortable, there is reliable WiFi, AC, and hot water, and views from the room balconies capture the Annapurna range on a clear day. However, the most noteworthy thing about this hotel is the staff; they are some of the kindest, most accommodating people I’ve met in Nepal. I got sick with covid on my second day here, and the hotel staff and manager immediately offered their assistance. They arranged for someone to come to the hotel to administer a PCR test and were very responsive with room service and other requests while I was isolating. They were reassuring and kind throughout the ordeal. I highly recommend City Inn for your next visit to Pokhara!

Great location, great views from the room and an amazingly friendly host! The owner was very helpful throughout our trip, helped us book bus, taxis and tours. I’ve had previous bad experience booking things in Nepal, but these people were genuine with offering what they said! I will come back here.

I really had a wonderful stay at Silver Oaks Inn. We we a group of the friends and we wanted to stay near to lakeside side. We didn't had any idea where to stay one of the friend of mine recommended me this place.at first I wasn't sure but the moment I enter into the hotel I absolutely loved everything from the cosy garden to Rooms. Rooms are so clean and equipped with modern design. The behaviour of the every single staff will make your stay more comfortable for sure. Many thanks to Manager Sanjay who precisely handle our request. We absolutely had a wonderful time and we will certainly visit this place on our next visit. Highly recommended!!!!!

I recently stayed here on and off between short trips in the area and was impressed by the friendly and attentive service. The staff were accommodating of our bicycles, helping us with taxi, and safely storing our luggage. The hotel is located right in CenterPoint, so a short walk to lakeside and all the restaurants. The staff were all very careful about wearing face masks to uphold COVID19 safety precautions. The breakfast is great and consistent (especially the potatoes), beds are very comfortable, modern lift makes it easy to reach your room when you are tired from trek, and the balcony is great. I definitely recommend a room 3rd floor or above for a better view and less noise from the street. Only suggestions for improvement are: - please brew better drip/filter coffee, instead of Nescafe instant coffee - shampoo and soap in the room are not great (don't foam well), we preferred our own - please include instructions in the room for how to use the TV - please place a floor wiper (squeegee) in each bathroom, as the water tends to leak from shower into main bathroom floor and there is no way to clean for the guest. This hotel is strategically located in the LakeView area. In front is just a walking distance to see the lake and behind you’d see the beautiful Annapurna Range. Restaurants, souvenir shops, money changer is just around the area. Walking distance in fact. 5-10 minutes you’re in the heart of the tourist area. The English Breakfast is sumptous and ok for me. May need to work on the deep fried sausages though. The room is ok for me as well. Kinda small but it’s ok for a solo traveller. I stayed in 302 and you’d get to see a good view of the Lake and the Annapurna Range. See photos and video for reference. Wifi is strong as well and stable. Heater is working and there’s a bidet !!! And one tip for the travellers, if you want a daily supply of the 2 bottled waters and coffee and tea, just put the ‘Clean My Room’ on the door. It saved me around 20-50 rupees. :) Sanjog the manager is hands on with the customers. He talks to us by our names and greets me everytime he sees me on the premises. He’s also the one who picked me up at the bus station. I originally stayed here from Nov 23-26 but decided to extend to Nov 28 since I fell in love with Pokhara. :) Some things to condider though before booking this hotel. There are no elevators or lift. If you have mobility issues, this might be a problem especially going upstairs to your room. The bathroo may need to be cleaned thourough as there’s mold and mildew building up on the side corners. If you’re a germ freak, it might turn you off. All in all, it was a very memorable and pleasurable to stay in Pokhara.
