Hotel berhampiran Biblioteca dell＇Opera Nazionale Montessori, Rome

I would have liked to rate the hotel as 4.5* however our room was at the front of the hotel and even with the windows shut it was very noisy from the large road junction outside, plus there was noise from other residents and tvs in other rooms, maybe some soundproofing needs to be carried out. That having been said the location was excellent, an easily walkable distance to main attractions, plus a metro stop is directly outside the hotel. The area felt safe at night and there some very good restaurants to try which are only minutes away. Should you wish to go shopping then there are plenty of non-designer shops to choose from nearby including a very good department store called COIN. Our room was a good size and had a lovely bathroom. The bed was large and extremely comfortable, the linen was super soft. Cleaning through the hotel was of a high standard. Breakfast was excellent, everything you might want and the most delicious scrambled eggs I have ever had in a hotel. There were salads, pastries, cakes, fresh fruit, yoghurts, different cured meats and cheeses, sausages and bacon and vegetarian options. Top marks for the hard working breakfast staff. A great start to the day. Staff generally were friendly and helpful. At reception were snacks and drinks to welcome you which was a nice gesture. The hotel also has a small restaurant, ideal for lunches or if you are too exhausted to leave the hotel at night. We had pizzas and salads there a couple of times for lunch and they were very good. The reception area is good with couches, they will look after your baggage if you have a late flight. A very enjoyable stay.

This was my second stay at Nerva Accomodation Cavour, and I was completely satisfied. We arrived about 9pm having chosen the self check-in option: access to the hotel and room were via PIN codes supplied by WhatsApp, which worked fine. Room was perfectly clean and had air conditioning controlled by a remote control. Staff were available at breakfast, which comprised tea/coffee and a selection of pastries and yoghurts. A little noise could be heard from other rooms, but nothing disturbing. Location is a short walk from both Termini station and the Colosseum.

Accommodation in Rome is insanely overpriced at all price points…However, if one wants to stay in central Rome then this is definitely a great hotel to stay at. Clean, modern, great customer service, extremely comfortable bed! What more can one hope for from a couple of nights stay. It should be noted that the area around Termini is not the nicest in Rome, however the hotel is at least located in the (relatively) better part of the area around termini.

Rome was just a quick stop on our trip to Italy. We know staying at an IHG property is always a safe bet when it comes to quality standards and Ambasciatori wasn't the exemption. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We arrived early morning and our room was not ready yet so they went out of their way and called the office so that we could store our valuables in the hotel safe while our room was ready. Once that was taken care of we decided to venture out and walk around. Ambasciatori enjoys prime location, being on Via Veneto just a short walk from many sights, including Piazza di Spagna, Fontana di Trevi and, of course, Via dei Condotti. Our room was standard size as well as the bathroom but the highlight of the room without a doubt was the huge balcony where we enjoyed having our morning espresso. The concierge and the doormen were always eager to help us book reservations, call taxis, give us directions... If you stay there you can't miss Charlie's Rooftop Bar. A great option to unwind after a busy day of walking, sightseeing and shopping. Either you want some snacks or just a cocktail i'm sure you will enjoy the lively atmosphere, the view and the fresh air. Do definitely consider staying at the Ambasciatori if you want quality, luxury, comfort and location.

We booked 2 double rooms in August 2022 for 5 nights in March 2023 using booking.com. As part of the booking process, we registered a credit card on a ”pay at the hotel” basis. 6 days before we were due to arrive, we received an e-mail telling us we had to confirm the credit card details within 24 hours by following a link in the e-mail, with the threat of cancellation if we didn't do so. In years of travelling, we've never come across this before. We tried repeatedly, ended up using 5 different cards (mix of debit/credit cards and of card-providers) and every time it failed with a message saying there was a problem, and to try later. We contacted the bank to confirm the cards weren't at fault, rang booking.com and got them to contact the hotel - we even offered to pay the full amount up-front rather than risk losing the booking. They checked with the hotel and said the hotel were unable to take a payment over the phone, but that the booking was OK. The following day, we received a further e-mail stating the booking was cancelled as we'd failed to confirm the credit card. We rang booking.com again, who - once again - rang the hotel but couldn't get a response. With 5 days before we were due to fly, we went into a desperate search for somewhere to stay. Booking.com offered us a number of alternatives - none were anywhere near as convenient a location (as other reviews have said, it's superb for the main tourist sites), and at higher prices. We ended up finding an AirBnB apartment. Lo and behold, 3 days from flying, we get an e-mail from booking.com stating the hotel had now got 2 ”Superior” rooms available to offer us at £50 per room per night over our original booking price. We declined. So - our conclusion is that - at best, the hotel's admin/systems are flawed (card confirmation process/system is unreliable and they can't/won't accept payment by phone). Or - at worst..... well, you can draw your own conclusion.

The Superior Apartment that we stayed in was on the 5th floor. It was perfect for our family of 5 (Grandma, Mom, Dad, 3.5 yr old, and 18 month old). They had a pack and play ready for our littlest one, and the pull out sofa bed was already nicely made up and ready for our arrival. We were ever so grateful that the Oriana Homel accommodated an early check in, so we were able to get picked up straight from the train station and taken to our apartment. The place was large and excellent for walking to all the destinations. We found it a great home based to come back and rest/relax after a ton of walking. Great restaurants nearby. Some good things to note for families: small elevators, but they weren't busy and we could easily shuffle up multiple loads of luggage at a time. Back entrance is best for meeting airport transfers, etc. The Oriana Homel arranged all our transfers and they were wonderful with being on time, communicative, knowledgable, and comfortable vehicle arrangements. The only thing I wished the apartment had was an in unit washer/dryer. They did recommend a laundry service nearby, but it would have been nice to wash the kids' clothes during our stay.

Upon arrival, the reception person was standing outside smoking, but at least he was hospitable. Later we asked for 2 additional pillows - when we returned, they were on our bed wrapped in baby sheets for a cot (teddy bears in diapers included!) instead of pillowcases. We showed the housekeeper the next morning and she was shocked. We had specifically asked for a quiet room when we booked this room, and we were assigned a room next to a building with a rooftop terrace - chairs and tables scraping the floor well into the night. With this nuisance, and the noise from the air conditioning system, we did not sleep much during both nights of our stay. The room was very disappointing - the size and quality rooms presented on the Profumo website are deceiving (wide-angle lens photos?). We had two suitcases and could only open one at a time (we could not fully open the door because one suitcase had to stay behind it) and the bathroom and shower were very small. Also, the “luxury” furnishings are worn and tired - not so upscale as advertised. The first morning we went to the breakfast room at 8:45 and most things were gone or almost gone and had not been replenished. On our second day, there were two other staff present at the entrance - neither of them bothered to look up from their phone when we entered or left throughout the day (not speaking but browsing, social media, etc.). You could walk-in and walk right by them whether you were staying there or not. Not very secure (not to mention extreme lack of hospitality and professionalism). Our final morning, the housekeeper began loading her cart directly outside our door at 7 am, waking us. This was so noisy that it sounded as though she was in the room with us. We were on holiday and this was not a pleasant way to begin our day. We spoke to the manager when we checked out to express our disappointment (there is no management on site on the weekends). He was apologetic and asked us to send him an email - to which he replied with nonsense excuses provided by the staff. We booked this hotel based on location and great reviews but obviously, those reviewers paid a much less rate than we did. At the price we were charged we expected a much higher quality of room and service...I would suggest if anyone has booked at a rate of more than 200 euros (more than its worth, way less than we were charged!) for a Saturday night and less during the week - don't bother. You can easily find more value for the money in the area.

Alloggiati nel palazzo accanto all’hotel dove aveva altre stanze nulla di male se non fosse che l’ ascensore troppo vecchio e piccolo da una max due persone la stanza piccola ma curata nell’arredamento bagno grande che a mio parere non meritava le tre stelle ma dove ho trovato disappunto è stato nell’aria condizionata. Che non potevo accendere a mio piacere ma bensì dopo mia richiesta attivavano cosa scocciante perché dovevo chiedere ogni volta che uscivo dalla stanza colazione adeguata personale gentile

Sono certa che ognuno di noi abbia la propria scala di fattori per valutare se un posto e' bello o brutto ma che siano le persone il valore aggiunto. In questo hotel pulito, carino e molto comodo , vicino alla stazione di Roma Termini sono proprio le persone che fanno di un piccolo hotel, un punto di riferimento per i nostri viaggi a Roma. Paola della reception e' stata, ed è, la persona che ci ha seguito in fase di prenotazione e che si è fatta in quattro per aiutarci a proiettare le nostre fotografie su una parete, di una saletta allestita solamente per noi, un gruppetto di fotografi arrivati in città per un corso di fotografia di due giorni. Honestly，my experience this hotel is a little bit lower than equivalent level hotel. The mattress in this hotel is not bad. However， unfortunately， it mattress gonna be only point I satisfy with it. The service is normal，but their equipment maintenance is concerning，there are several bulbs down in my room and the shower door in the bathroom seems hard to push. Most importantly，air conditioner in the room is not powerful enough which is a terrible infomation for tourist in this summer. The picture attached in this comment is it outside environment，it might be not clear enough， but I have to say it outside is too dark😂， but it is not a luxury hotel in city centre， therefore it is still acceptable . This hotel is generally good， but there are still large spaces that it can move forward to increase it customer satisfaction.
