Decent hotel though a bit old. Very disappointed in the fitness facilities…that beautiful fully equipped gym in the pictures has been gone for 3 years, now it’s slightly more than a broom closet (the colourful gym in the pictures). Had I known I would have stayed elsewhere as many hotels in the area have excellent fitness facilities.

Accueil personnalisé, petit cookie d'accueil, personnel très à l'écoute. Chambre très spacieuse et calme, lit très confortable, pression de la douche ok. Pas de sèche-cheveux dans la chambre. Petit-déjeuner très bien.

Persekitaran dan kakitangan yang indah, pembinaan yang sedang berjalan di belakang tidak begitu damai kerana mereka mula memalu dan bekerja pada jam 630/7 pagi, jika tidak selalu senang berada di sini! Saya terus kembali!

This was our first time in Costa Rica and this hotel was a great start to our adventure. They had the shuttle from the airport and beautiful accomidations. Breakfast was fantastic! We escaped the cold in Ohio to come to warmth and luxury!

Spent two days in this hotel while having some dental work done and overall is was a great stay. The only problem I've noticed with Hilton (at least in Costa Rica) is you will never ever get an early check-in. So if it says 3PM, that's when you'll probably get into your room. I arrived at 2PM so I had to wait awhile and this allowed me to really kind of tour the hotel. Pros: Great lobby and reception area with spectacular view of San Jose. Elegant design, if you have to wait for a check-in, this is a great place to wait :) Nice bar area, and a pretty good restaurant that does fantastic breakfast. When I finely entered the room it was not very spacious but EXTREMELY comfortable which is what I needed. Fantastic bed and really nice views of the city and mountains. Some rooms also have a view of the National Stadium which is very cool. There is a very nice pool on the roof which is cool with the surrounding mountain views with attached lap pool. I upgraded to a larger room the next day and was happy with that. I would recommend this hotel to someone doing business in San Jose or needing a first and or last night stay before traveling to the beach or other destinations in the country. Great location in the heart of San Jose, within walking distance from all the city’s attractions. As a Hilton member, we were recognised with a great upgrade to a nice and modern room. The daily breakfast was sumptuous with local and western options. The evening happy hour was incredible and the best selection of drinks we’ve ever been to. Would also like to thank several staff who helped us during our stay - Anthony the bellhop, and Carlos + Marcela, severs at the hotel’s restaurant. One suggestion is for the reception counter staff to be more friendly and approachable. The perception we got was they were cold and rushed.

Our experience at this hotel was extremely A+++, Anthony and Angie both Front Desk specialist were so profesional and made our stay comfortable. They went out of their way to ensure our tours were well arranged and our breakfast in the hotel was jsut excellent. The happy hour was great as well. The hotel is extremely clean. All of the staff were courteous and ensured we knew where we were going. It was hard to come home becasue it felt like we were home away from home. The Manager too came by and ensured we were having a great stay.

Me and my kids came to the property quite late at night. While getting them and luggage out of our car it automatically locked with the keys inside. The front desk night auditor offered to call the chief of maintenance, Mr. Jorge Murillo, who was quickly thereafter helping with opening the car while other staff joined to help, we had a smooth check-in and got extra help with our bags and settling in. Mr. Murillo eventually managed to open the car and saved us a salty bill for a smith to come at night. Every single staff member was kind and helpful. We were impressed with the level of service and commitment to guests. They truly do go the extra mile. Will recommend for sure. Carlos D. Angulo.
