Location location location! The hotel is located next to the subway station and two big malls. It ‘s just two stations away from the science museum and international art museum!! Breakfast is nice and staff is friendly. Unfortunately, I found two hairs inside bathroom, one on the sink and one on the toilet.

I booked a two-night stay at the 金茂JW Marriott from July 15th to 17th. I am very grateful to the Guest Relations Executive, Xana (Jasmine), for her assistance with a room upgrade. The TV in our originally assigned room had no signal, and even after the engineers tried to fix it, the connection remained unstable. The engineers did notify the front desk on our behalf, and thanks to the prompt help from Xana and the front desk staff, we were immediately moved to another room. Xana even went out of her way to help us move our luggage. We also troubled Xana and another Guest Relations Executive to help deliver our medication to our room. Thank you, Xana, for your thoughtful service and care! I would also like to thank the housekeeping lady for keeping the room impeccably clean and well-organized. As for breakfast, true to the JW Marriott style, there was an excellent variety of food choices. However, I was a bit disappointed that the congee and oatmeal were not hot this time. What deserves praise, though, is that all the staff at the breakfast cafe were incredibly friendly and provided wonderful service. They all had smiles on their faces, which put us in a great mood while enjoying our morning meal. The 金茂 JW Marriott Hotel in Shenzhen has a very convenient location and comfortable rooms. Highly recommend! We will definitely come back next time.

I had a wonderful stay at The Ritz-Carlton Shenzhen recently. The hotel is located in the heart of Shenzhen’s Futian district, a close distance to Futian high speed rail station. We felt welcome from the moment we walked through the door with refreshing welcome drinks and friendly service. The checking process was quick and smooth. We selected a room that had access to the club lounge. The lounge is excellent, with 5 meals a day provided. The quality of the food is high and the there is a varied selection to choose from. However, i would recommend going down to the main restaurant for breakfast. What really made our stay great was the fantastic room service and general friendliness of the staff. While we were staying in the club lounge we were lucky enough to have Mandy take of us. She did an amazing job helping us with any help we needed. She was extremely professional and her communication in English was very impressive. I would definitely come and stay again, and hopefully have Mandy there to look after us during our next trip.

This hotel is beautiful and has a simple elegance to it. Many places to take pictures and look at the scenery. The room was so comfortable and I had a really nice massage. The service was friendly and helpful. My only drawback were some of the children were a bit noisy and it isn’t ideal for a couple getaway. There was one child screaming at breakfast and while swimming in the sea and his parents were not doing anything about it. Also the breakfast buffet that’s included needs to have more quality and better options. I do not feel it met a five star standard.

Sicily and Marsh were equally outstanding, always present at just the right moments with a smile, a helpful suggestion, or a thoughtful gesture. Together, the three of them set a tone of effortless elegance that carried through every hour of my stay. In a city as fast-paced and forward-looking as Shenzhen, there is something deeply reassuring about a reception team that makes you feel as though time has slowed down just for you. The Club Skyline View Room If the lobby whispered luxury, the Club Skyline View Room declared it in full voice. Perched high above the glittering sprawl of Shenzhen, the room offered a panorama that genuinely stopped me in my tracks. Floor-to-ceiling windows framed the city's dazzling skyline — a forest of illuminated towers stretching toward the horizon, the lights of Futian and beyond shimmering like an earthbound constellation. I found myself drawn to the window repeatedly, at golden hour, at twilight, and again in the deep hours of the night, each time discovering a different mood and a different kind of beauty. The room itself was a masterclass in refined design. The palette was calm and sophisticated, with rich textures and thoughtful layering that felt contemporary yet timeless in the way the Mandarin Oriental has always done best. The bed was, simply put, superb — the kind of bed that makes you reconsider every mattress you have ever slept on and find them all wanting. Linens were crisp and impossibly soft. The bathroom was a sanctuary of marble and glass, generously appointed with the brand's signature amenities, and the soaking tub positioned near the window offered what might be one of the finest bathing experiences in southern China. Every detail, from the lighting controls to the turndown service to the quiet hum of climate perfection, spoke of a property that understands the difference between filling a room with expensive things and creating a genuine sense of place and comfort. The Mandarin Club Accessing the Mandarin Club elevated an already exceptional stay into something truly rarefied. The lounge itself is a beautifully curated space — serene, sophisticated, and blessed with those same sweeping skyline views that make this property so special. But what transforms the Club from a lovely room with good canapés into a genuinely memorable experience is its people. Chelsea Zhou is a revelation and deserves a special mention. Her hospitality instincts are pitch-perfect; she anticipated needs I hadn't yet articulated, and managed to be attentive without ever being intrusive — a balance that even the finest hotels in the world struggle to achieve. Priscilla Pang was equally impressive, radiating a genuine kindness and professionalism that made every interaction a pleasure. Whether it was the afternoon tea service, or the evening menu and cocktails, Chelsea and Priscilla ensured that every moment in the Club felt personal, polished, and quietly luxurious. I returned to the lounge far more often than I had planned, not just for the excellent food and drink,

We spent two exceptionally pleasant and comfortable nights at your hotel. The room was spacious and offered an excellent stay. We would like to highly commend the housekeeping staff; the room was immaculately clean, and they were incredibly attentive—not only providing us with extra bottled water but also neatly organizing our charging cables. This level of service deserves high recognition. Furthermore, equipping the room with an air purifier was a very thoughtful detail. The hotel is very well-maintained, and our room featured an open, bright layout with a pleasant partial sea view. Regarding breakfast, we had noted other guests' positive feedback prior to our arrival, and the spread truly lived up to its reputation. There was a wide variety of selections, and as a vegetarian, I highly appreciated the extensive range of vegetarian options available. However, a minor point for improvement would be the temperature of the congee and oatmeal, which were only lukewarm. Additionally, the restaurant seemed a bit understaffed, resulting in a slower turnaround for clearing tables, as several tables remained uncleaned after guests departed. This is an area that might benefit from operational adjustments. Overall, we were highly satisfied with our experience and will certainly choose to stay with you again in the future. The hotel is generally value for money, I stayed there for one night. The location is convenient as it is connected to a mall and the room is clean. However, there are two areas which require improvement: 1) Service quality at their F&B outlets. The hotel lobby bar has good live music at night but one of the waitresses seem to be a bit lost. I was given a cash voucher to use at the bar through reservation at Trip.com. At the time of checking out from the bar, I went out to the check-in front desk to ask on how to use the voucher and was told that, I only had to show the reservation email (with the voucher indicated in the email) to the bar servicing staff and they would know. I followed that guidance and presented the voucher to a bar waitress but unfortunately she had no idea about it. After waiting for about 10 minutes or so, another waitress (appear to be at manager level) assisted me with it. Another unpleasant experience happened during breakfast. I went down for breakfast around 7am. I've had several rounds of dishes already but nobody from the service team ever came to our table to remove the used plates. After about an hour with many plates and bowls on our table, I went out looking for the restaurant staff to help. There were two young waitresses walking and chit-chatting so I approached one of them and asked if she could help to remove the used plates from my table. To my surprise, she responded ”there are people (waiter/waitress) at your area (in Chinese - 那边有人呀”). I was like ”huh?” I think she sensed my frustrated look and then said, ”ok, where is your table, I'll go take the plates”. I think, my area is likely not her assigned responsibility so she was trying to reject to my request, but I think her response was unprofessional, especially for a 5-star international brand hotel. If she didn't want to do it, at least she could have said, I'll find someone to help you.”. Anyway, I raised this incident to the restaurant reception and moments later, many service team members proactively going around the tables to remove dirty plates :) 2) Hair-dryer in the room. The dryer is the old-fashioned type so it is quite heavy to hold but that is not a key issue. The main issue is the plug which has come loose so it is a safey concern. I didn't take a photo before the replacement so the photo attached is the hairdryer after the broken one being replaced.

The room is very tidy and clean, but the bathtub is a bit small when compared to other hotels with similar class. Location of the hotel is not bad and you can find a lot of shopping mall nearby. However you won’t try to walk outside during the summer time and probably go everywhere by calling taxi

The room was spacious and very clean. Bed is very comfortable. I love the bathtub. If you decide to use the swimming pool, make sure you bring a swimming cap as that is required to use the swimming pool
