Very great hotel to stay at especially if you're gonna be there for college or just if you want to spot with everything around it without having to travel so many miles location in the middle of downtown Tempe next to the stadium yeah shopping areas all around you food city of food city pizza places you got Safeway down the street and clean the sport shops and everything food and name it it's there

We were in town for a wedding and this facility was recommended as the place to stay. The recommendation was a strong one. The facility is exceptionally clean and appears to be fairly new. The staff was unfailingly polite and always met us as we walked in with smiles. Our room was well designed. The addition of a microwave would have made it even better, but I'm not sure where it would have been placed. We didn't take advantage of other amenities -- the lounge looked convivial, the breakfast area offered several options, the workout room seemed complete for a hotel fitness area -- but it was only because we were doing other things. Each morning, I went down to Mill Avenue and the big park by the river for long walks. The park is just a couple blocks away. Also nearby is the Mill Avenue shopping district. It's definitely a good place for a stroll and some shopping. Overall, I give this hotel top marks!!

This Residence Inn is outstanding. From the customer service to the cleanliness to the breakfast options, it's one of the best Residence Inn's we've stayed at. I had the chance to stay for quite a few days, so I had the opportunity to see the day-to-day effort the entire staff puts in to keep this hotel in great shape. The cleaning crew is constantly cleaning public areas, floors, elevators, etc, along with the rooms. In addition, the breakfast offers great options every day, and they make sure to make some changes daily to keep the breakfast menu fresh, for those that have longer stays. Egg whites are something you rarely see as an option at other Residence Inn hotels. The staff switches out their fresh coffee in the morning, for refreshing lemonade in the afternoon. You're always greeted by a smiling face at the front desk, unlike other Residence Inn's where the front desk personnel spend a lot of time in the back. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to going back.

All the rooms have now been renovated according to the cheerful front desk night attendant. We arrived very late from the airport, so were tired and got a good night’s sleep. Just a few remarks about the layout of the room. It’s great to have the sofa bed and a working/meal table plus a mini-fridge. However this leaves very little space to put your luggage and there is no dresser or closet, just a small pole at the far end of the room over a small luggage rack. I can just imagine the challenge for the couple who registered before us with 2 kids and 2 huge suitcases ! Also the bathroom entrance faces the bed and there is no door to shield the light from anybody sleeping in the bed at night. Another not so important little peeve of mine is you have to open the shower directly not through a lever when the water is warm enough, so you get a cold splash when you walk up in it to open the tap. The breakfast was decent enough, just like most hotels of this type, but everything was lukewarm, including the coffee, which was annoying. Finally, the breakfast room definitely had not been renovated and the furniture was a little worn or dirty. The elevators also made crinkly noises that made you wonder if you were going to get stuck. So all in all, it was still a good choice for a quick overnight stay after arriving at the airport (no shuttle after 10:00 p.m.) and the staff were very pleasant.

We stayed here for two nights for a family wedding. Loved this location and the staff wound not have been friendlier. Even after asking for extra towels and coffee pods, the room attendant left us extras plus a nice notes wishing us a happy time at the wedding. The breakfast buffet was good each morning and the staff was very attentive. The food was hot and fresh. I really liked that you can also order off a menu and can sit on the dining area or bar. The lobby was a brood meeting place for happy hour after after the wedding. Lots of outdoor seating to enjoy the nice grounds.

Hotel was clean and workers were very friendly. Definitely enjoyed the stay!
