"The room facilities are outdated. The air conditioning doesn't cool, it just blows air without actually chilling the room. The room was incredibly stuffy, and the windows wouldn't open – the handles were designed in a way that made it impossible. The room clearly hasn't had any ventilation for ages. The air quality was terrible. It was so hot and stuffy I couldn't sleep at all. I finally managed to fall asleep past 2 AM, and when I woke up in the morning, my throat felt scratchy, likely from dust in the air conditioning. I was so uncomfortable in the middle of the night that I seriously considered going to the lobby to sit there all night; it was that miserable! It's not even as good as a standard chain hotel."

"Haven't been here in a year! Having adjusted my expectations based on previous stays, I actually found this visit quite good. If this were my first time, especially seeing 'luxury hotel' in the name, my expectations would be high and the actual experience might be disappointing. The mini-bar and complimentary water selection have been upgraded, giving it more of a luxury hotel feel. The quality of the steak at breakfast has also improved. The 'Jiangnan Feast' menu included in the package has been revised and is much better than before Chinese New Year, though the spare ribs are still very sweet. The butler team has also changed; the new staff are friendlier, and the service has significantly improved. Both floors have restrooms, but the one on the first floor was out of hand soap. 😳"

The building's exterior is unique, with low-rise floors that deeply connect you with nature – waking up to the sound of bulbuls every morning was lovely. The interior design features bold, stylish color schemes and incorporates arched bridge structures. The room's bathroom and toilet are separate, with double sinks and a clear window view. The patterns and motifs beautifully combine Eastern and Western styles, feeling very modern and chic. The bedding was also incredibly comfortable; I slept soundly for both nights. Breakfast was abundant and healthy! Plus, the room key is a cartoon version of Wuxi's city landscape, which you can take home as a souvenir magnet – a truly charming detail."
