"I specifically booked a room with a balcony, but I wouldn't recommend the Bamboo Retreat King Room. The 'balcony' shown in the picture was explained to be an 'inner balcony,' which was just a solid wall separated from the room by a sliding glass door. It felt stuffy, oppressive, dim, and had a strange smell, almost like being in a prison. There was no bathtub, and the bathroom was tiny. However, the butler was excellent and helped us switch to a room with a proper balcony, which was a huge improvement. We're very grateful for that. The bedding in the room was good, and the two beds could be combined. Room service was fast, but the TV casting feature was broken. Even after maintenance came to try and fix it, it still failed, and nothing further was done about it. Regarding the hotel and scenic area activities and package details, you really need to proactively ask about everything as there are no reminders. For example, for the hotel-provided firework viewing spots, it's best to call and ask in advance, as no one will tell you, but if you ask, you can book it beforehand. The shuttle service isn't very convenient either. It's not an on-demand service; there are only a few fixed stops, and you have to wait for it like a bus. It also can't go inside the scenic area. Overall, the service felt a bit lacking. Despite the service issues, the Ctrip package offers good value for money. The Birds of Prey show included with the ticket is definitely worth seeing. The scenic train B line was a bit boring, but the Yaohu Town has great aesthetics. The evening water show and fireworks were also good. Coming in summer for stream trekking would be fantastic. It's also very convenient to explore at night and then return to the room, making it perfect for a two-day, one-night stay. The food within the scenic area was surprisingly good. It would be even better if the service could be improved."

Every step offers a new scenic view, immersing you in nature. The park's pathways, cliffside hot springs, and expansive lawn are perfect for photos. It's quiet, secluded, full of negative oxygen ions, and truly ideal for a relaxing getaway from the city's hustle and bustle. I must give a special shout-out to our butler, Xiao Chen, for the entire stay! Before check-in, she proactively contacted us and sent us the park's tour routes and hot spring opening times. Upon arrival, she arranged a shuttle for luggage transfer, responding incredibly quickly – almost instantly to WeChat messages. She thoughtfully assisted us with all our inquiries, from the pet park to shuttle services, being meticulous and considerate. We didn't have to worry about a single thing throughout our stay; it truly felt like a home away from home. The facilities are excellent, and the in-room amenities are complete. The combination of the environment and Xiao Chen's service made for an exceptional experience. I'll definitely ask for Xiao Chen again next time I visit!"

It's within a 20-minute drive of attractions like Nanshan Bamboo Sea, Shanjuan Cave, Yaohu Town, and Tao Erchang in Liyang. Environment: The surrounding environment is beautiful, built against the mountains, with the main entrance facing the lake. The scenery is pleasant and the air is fresh. Parking: Parking is very convenient; there's plenty of parking available. Facilities: The rooms are a bit old, but very clean. We booked Lake View Room A. Our child is still young, so soaking in the bathtub was very comfortable! The surrounding environment is great, built against the mountains, and the scenery is beautiful even just a short walk away. "Decided to visit Yixing spontaneously while the weather was still pleasant. Stayed for two nights, and the front desk upgraded our room to a beautiful one with a wide-open lake view. The breakfast wasn't lavish, but it was enough to fill up. Wanda Plaza is right next door, and they even have a Cha Yan Yue Se (tea shop) with no lines! Yixing Museum is just a short walk across the street and was open even on a Monday. It's a bit far from the Bamboo Sea, but hey, Cha Yan Yue Se is right next door, and it's close to the high-speed rail station. Yixing is a great place to visit, with lots of tourist attractions like Pottery Factory No. 2, Gu Nan Street, and the grottoes. Plus, there's no traffic congestion, and the hotel was quite affordable. All in all, a good experience."
