Really quiet location as it is right on the golf course. Great views over the ocean if you fancy a walk. Rooms have been newly refurbished with natural tones, soft lighting at headboard, comfortable bed with an array of pillows. Central light panel controls all room lighting - have a play! Really good desk space for work options, with desk light for ample lighting and power right there whilst working. No stretching of cords or having to share with the kettle. TV with great reception live TV. Spacious bathroom with toilet, large shower, large mirror and vanity space, 2 power points and sink. Reasonable water pressure and good temperature but could not tell which was hot or cold. Trial and error Breakfast included is good and tasty, basic with eggs, bacon, baked beans, hash browns and fried rice, selection of different toast and banana bread, coffee, tea, juices. Could probably do with some fresh fruit as well as an offering. Nice bush outlook at breakfast and plenty of seating. I had a corner room so my view was not the best - disappointing! The pool is beautiful and the spa is warm, even in the middle of August. I would come back but better view next time as the hotel was not full midweek. I would highly recommend a stay!

We had a lovely stay at Balgownie Estate. The room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable, with a relaxing balcony that offered a beautiful view of the stars at night. It really added a special touch to the stay. The breakfast buffet was generally okay, a decent selection to start the day, though not particularly outstanding. Overall, it’s a peaceful retreat in a great location, perfect for unwinding and enjoying the beauty of the Yarra Valley.

Hotel front desk staffs were very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed talking to them. Hotel room is just perfect for a Solo traveller in terms of room size, facilities, lighting, etc. I love the room interior. It looks bright and motivating. Lighting is bright which I always prefer and I have the option to switch off some lights if I want it a bit darker before sleeping. Toilet looks compact but there is certainly enough space to take shower and do other stuff. There is a sofa which makes the room look more classy. The bed, pillow and sofa are very comfortable. I was able to adjust the Aircon and keep myself warm and comfortable. In room dining service was excellent. I ordered a vegetarian dish and it was tasty. Hotel is conveniently situated within CBD and I am able to walk over to wherever I want or take tram and travel around the city. I love this hotel and I will stay in this hotel again when I revisit Melbourne in the coming months.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 The staff at Apollo Bay Motel & Apartments were very helpful and made the check-in process extremely easy by clearly guiding us through every step. Their communication was excellent and very friendly. The room was warm, clean, and comfortable. The accommodation is in a very convenient location, with all shops, cafés, and restaurants nearby and within easy walking distance. All the amenities we needed were provided, which made our stay very comfortable and stress-free. Overall, we highly recommend Apollo Bay Motel & Apartments to everyone and would happily stay here again.

Great location which is on the way to great ocean road, this hotel got the stove, pan and kitchen ware so you can cook in the hotel(apartment) and with in 2-3 mins walking distance there is supermarket which is so convenient

While the cleanliness was good, the daily housekeeping wasn’t available as listed on their website or yours for amenities.  We got an unprofessional answer from a staff member who on request gave us extra towels that due to salary/wages and time of year that daily housekeeping wasn’t being done. We stayed two nights and needed rubbish removed and sheets changed, also new towels, bath mat replaced daily. If we wanted to stay in self serviced apartments, fair enough, but we were staying in a hotel/resort without a kitchen sink to wash our wine glasses provided or the glasses etc.  I found that they left cleaning clothes and dish wash liquid under the bathroom sink which I think is wrong as due to health regulations, you don’t wash dishes in the bathroom sink. It’s a hotel not a self contained apartment.

We arrived late but we managed to pick up the keys. Thank you so much. The toilet in the room is very cold during the June period. The heater in the room doesn't cover that space. The water could also be a little warmer during winter. We had turned the tap to the max and found the water lukewarm.

I have 2 issues one is the check in and check out time 10 am check out is too early if check in is after 2pm . I wanted to purchase breakfast add on but was told not possible at food checkout even though they had terminal, had to go to reception to do , however reception said they could do at breakfast bar which I just came from !  Second at reception I informed them that my room would not be vacant rd until breakfast was consumed at 10.30 , no problems but upon returning to room it had been serviced at some of my belongings removed!! Room size is a bit small & the room allocated to us is having problem with hot water shower. However, the hotel is kind enough to provide another room for us to shower.

I arrived at late check-in time on 2/11 Sunday and Mildua Inlander's staff was after office hour so I contacted to staff for room check-in by phone call, Staff are so helpful to help me to collect the room key and required admin work. However, due to the resort's layout and my room location(my room is ROOM 90), the circulation of the hotel is not poor, poor room ordering(it is not by 101 for on 1/F like typical hotel, it is using 1-50 for G/F, 51-100 for level 1; if 101-110 for block 1, 121-129 for block 2, 131-139 for block 3, 141-150 for block 4 would be better), no coherent corridor at the end, not much signage and map/easy to miss, no Lift or easy ramp for level 1. so, it is hard to find my room and poor experience before entry the room. Room is good for me. One thing is: can consider to have openable window after the mosquito net on the balcony sliding door if I don't want to turn on the air-conditioner.
