"I had a very pleasant stay here. Initially, I booked a room without a window, but I found it quite suffocating,especially in winter when it felt dark and gloomy. I asked the receptionist if I could change rooms, and they kindly upgraded me to a spacious room with a window for only an additional 28 RMB. The reception staff were incredibly kind and sweet, making the whole process smooth and welcoming. The location is excellent just a 5 minute walk from Sophia Cathedral and the food market inside the mall. Overall, the combination of friendly service, convenient location, and comfortable room made my stay enjoyable. Highly recommended!"

"Staffs hospitality was very good ... the weather was cold but they had warm hearts greeting us everytime we step in or out. we dont speak Chinese and Zhu was always welcoming and assisting us when we had enquiries. And location of the hotel is superb. You can walk around the Zhongyang st or get around to anywhere in Harbin with ease. Hotel rooms are big,clean and with comfy beds."

"I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Habsburg Hotel, Harbin. The first thing that impressed me was the location. It has one of the best locations you could ask for in Harbin. The beautiful Songhua River and the cable car are just across the street from the hotel, while Central Street is only about a five-minute walk away. Saint Sophia Cathedral, Harbin Railway Station (where the memorial for Ahn Jung-geun is located), the Heilongjiang Museum, and Gogol Street are all just a short drive away. It makes sightseeing incredibly convenient. The hotel itself is beautiful. Both the exterior and interior are elegant, and the view from the room was absolutely stunning. Waking up to that view every morning was one of the highlights of my trip. I would also like to sincerely thank the gentleman who helped us during check-in. Since we are foreigners, he patiently used a translation app to explain every important detail about the hotel. I realize it must have taken extra time, but he never rushed us and made sure we understood everything. We truly appreciated his kindness, patience, and professionalism. What impressed me most was how much thought had gone into making guests feel comfortable. Throughout my stay, I kept noticing thoughtful details that made the room genuinely enjoyable to spend time in. The room was designed with convenience in mind. The toilet, shower, and bathtub were all separated into individual spaces, making the bathroom spacious and practical. This layout allowed two people to use different areas at the same time without getting in each other’s way. The room also included a massage chair, which was a wonderful surprise after spending the entire day walking around Harbin. It made returning to the hotel especially relaxing. Another feature I really appreciated was the traditional Chinese tea set. Instead of simply providing a kettle and a couple of cups, the hotel created a space where guests could actually sit down and enjoy tea. The table was also exceptionally large, providing plenty of room for enjoying takeout, organizing belongings, working on a laptop, or simply relaxing with a cup of tea. What makes this hotel special isn’t any single feature. It’s the way all of these thoughtful details come together to create such a comfortable stay. Every thoughtful detail, no matter how small, contributed to making the experience more relaxing and enjoyable. This hotel exceeded my expectations, and I genuinely look forward to staying here again the next time I visit Harbin."

"新開酒店就是好，大堂咖啡飲料免費喝，而且服務態度特別好，白天出去玩衣服弄濕了，沒時間洗衣服，和前台一説接着都幫我洗了，我們晚上要了很多冰塊，服務員給送了好幾趟，服務滿分💯他家早餐口味也特別好，早上趕着出發忘記拍圖片了，我們連着住了幾晚，走的時候還送了小禮物，下次來五常還選這家沒跑啦，還有夜景也超讚👍"

"Hotel was renovated in 2024 according to the description but it didn’t seem like it. The room overall was quite dirty. Not sure if they ever cleaned the carpet because my luggage caught a lot of hair (both long and short). Saw all the hair on the counter top where the luggage was placed. Never had this situation at other hotels we stayed at during this trip. There were cigarette burns on the carpet too.In addition, there were strands of hair on the sheet under the blanket and also on the sink countertop. Lastly toilet smelled of pee and cigarette smoke. I also had to request for a replacement of the kettle as the inside had something smeared (felt rough like concrete) Would not stay there again."
