Inexpensive and perfect location for Airport and Station. Reception was polite and friendly, check in very quick. Room was small but adequate for a short stay, two single beds as requested, TV, kettle, tea , coffee and milk. Very clean with shower en suite. Continental breakfast was basic but all we needed. Would definitely stay here again and happy to recommend.

Got a free upgrade to room with cricket view and balcony. Cleanliness, location,service and amenities are all perfect. Had a great time at Hilton garden inn.

An excellent hotel that I’m sure to return to. Check in was a doddle and the reception area and bar looked so welcoming with really vibrant and funky decor. The room itself was well laid out with the bathroom being a wet room. The bed was comfortable too. We were on the 6th floor and there was no noise to be heard from outside. Great stay!

There was an issue with this booking, and the same was made by mistake on the evening of the 12th of August and was made for the 12th of August instead of the 13th. The hotel was not full, and when I contacted Trip.com and the hotel reception, I was made to make a new booking and no refund was offered for the room. The people and businesses in the United Kingdom have been known to be very empathetic and humane, unlike the US and do understand other human beings. This was not the case here, and I was shown the refund policy by the hotel and the website that is trip.com. Even from trip I did expect more as I booked for the 13th too from their website. Thus, not a great experience. Very disappointed with Trip.com not even refund the taxes. The gym at the hotel is very small. Near the water is good.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, being only a 10-minute walk from Manchester's two train stations. However, the room amenities were quite dated, and if you're particular about cleanliness, this might not be the best choice for you. The breakfast was a standard English breakfast, offering a good variety of options and tasting quite decent.

Hotel very close to Piccadilly Station (just be careful where to find it, as you can easily walk past the street it is on!) Could leave luggage for the day before checking-in. Breakfast is nice but a little different im taste and texture of other fried breakfasts I have had in UK hotels. Could take away a coffee with disposable cups which is a good idea 👍 Room is a little small, but beds are comfortable. Area is quiet - but they are building a tram line next to the hotel so maybe we were lucky for waking up on Sunday morning.

My flight arrived early in the morning, so I called the hotel to inquire about an early check-in, and they confirmed it was possible, which I greatly appreciated. Check-in and check-out processes were efficient and convenient. However, the identity verification seemed a bit lax, as I was allowed to check in without being asked for any identification. The staff were always willing to assist. ## 2. Room Quality Room cleanliness was above average. The space around the bed was limited, but the bathroom was quite large. The overall room layout felt a bit peculiar, and the toilet's placement was also somewhat odd. The bed was too soft for my liking. Noise was to be expected, given its location next to a main road, but it wasn't overly severe. There was no air conditioning, but given Manchester's cool weather, it was acceptable. The Wi-Fi was very stable. I didn't test the TV. ## 3. Location & Transportation I personally found the hotel's location quite convenient, though if you're not taking a specific bus route, it requires at least a ten-minute walk. There are restaurants nearby, but no attractions. Public transport options include buses and bike rentals, but there's no metro. The hotel was easy to find, and parking was available. ## 4. Facilities & Services I didn't notice any gym, swimming pool, or restaurant, so I'm unable to comment on these facilities. I'm not aware of any additional thoughtful services (such as complimentary breakfast or airport transfers). I'm unsure about the timeliness or efficiency of the housekeeping service, as I stayed for only two days and this service was not arranged. ## 5. Value for Money The room rate was acceptable, but I haven't compared it with other hotels in the same area, so I'm not entirely sure if it's truly competitive. Compared to other hotels of a similar standard, it's likely recommendable, but it might be worth comparing with other options before making a final decision. No additional charges, which was a big plus. The only extra fee was a £2 city tax, which was consistent with the information provided on the booking website.

Great location in the centre. The room was clean and comfortable. The lift was annoying as you need to use your key card to press the button and other guests wouldn't realise so you're going up and down or not moving for ages. The breakfast was a nice bonus but there wasn't enough staff to clean tables and replenish empty food. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Good budget hotel!
