"The location is the best, in the middle of the city. There are supermarket, restaurant and the shops around the hotel. The staff are very kind. They really have service mind especially the man who has a long hair staying at the night shift. He is very helpful. I have a problem with my bag. He help me to solve the problem and help me until everything is fine. As my room doesn’t have a window, I ask him for a fan. He give me without any hesitation. Thank you the staff for the help. If I have a chance, I will be back again. I book the room without the window. It might be small and the air doesn’t flow. It suit for a short stay. If you plan for staying 2-3 days, the other room might be the better choice."

"Foss hotel Reykjavik is a great place, conveniently located next to Bus stop 12 where all the tour operators pick up and drop off as well as Fly bus tdrop off and pick up. The hotel is very clean and safe. I have a fantastic experience with the staff in front desk and house keeping. I was a solo traveller and I asked guidance to the front desk on some places that i wanted to go within and near Reykjavik. Tge front desk staff, he gave me suggestions and helped me book the show ticket. He gave me clear instructions and seeing my lost look , even gave me the hootel phone numbers to call him in case I run into trouble. But thanks to his clear guidance I managed to navigate well and had a great day out. This hotel is about 15 to 20mrs from city centre by walk. One day I forgot my gold chain in the room. But the housekeeping folks while cleaning did not even touch any valuable stuff that i left. It is really a very reliable and safe hotel. They have a restaurant that serves delicioys food. I ate their fish and chips and chicken salad. Both were great. The breakfast has a good spread. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. The best part is still the excellent service from the staff. My trip got rebooked and i had multiple correspondence with the staff and they were always prompt and reassuring. The only downside of the whole stay was my room. I got a corner room which had a slanted corner shape, meaning a triangle cut off from a rectangle. Though nicely laid out, i felt claustrophobic as the room size was much smaller. That room is not ideal, especially if not solo."

"Maybe it is my fault for expecting hotels in Iceland to have little to no, if not relatively poor service as a whole, but my booking issues with them, the communication leading up to the stay and overall interaction with staff was next to none, Save for the on-site staff that I got to bump into, it's pretty much non-existent. The Booking itself, alongside a mistake with the app, and the hotel refusing to offer direct communication, and lying throughout the whole ordeal when it came to ”calling back” was literal hell. That being said the say was, fine? It's a place to rest, that's all I can say. The breakfast was definitely pathetic, but like the first statement it might've been my fault for expecting something substantial,. Definitely don't get the breakfast, don't use the hot coffee/cocoa machine since it's broken or unfilled half the time. Seek out amenities at the grocery stores nearby instead."

"Close to the BSI main bus station (airport bus drop off) about 10-15min walk. Self check-in is possible if you arrive late in the evening. You will be given the passcodes for entrance to the building and also to the rooms. You just have to contact them. As for my room, I stayed in a single bed. It is small but all good. It has its own sink which is pretty useful for doing skin care. It also has cabinet and table and its own room heater. Toilet and shower is just outside the room. Every floor I think has its own T&B. Second floor has the kitchen and dining area. You can cook or prepare your own food here. They offer breakfast for 7euros. I didn’t try this tho. Coffee and Tea are free all day. The closest grocery store is a bit of a walk, about 10-15mins or 950m far. Also, same for the restaurants. Overall, this is very good value for money. It’s cheap for Iceland standards. I stayed for three nights and had no complaints."

"Very friendly reception, good variety of food in breakfast. What I enjoy most is the room, good view and size especially when you travel long distances and have a complementary parking spot right in front of the hotel. Strongly recommend."

"It was easy to find the hotel and my room. The code on the door was kept switching but eventually got inside. It’s not a luxury but you got everything you need. The kitchen has all basic stuff and even tea and coffee. It wasn’t busy and I felt safe there. I’m happy with my stay. A little walk down from the hotel and you reach this beautiful view which is gorgeous."

"The front desk staff are sweet, attentive and helpful with ideas on things to do. One particularly wonderful staff member helped me locate a nearby local park in iceland with serene water nearby. Also, they have ritual bath products, clean bathrooms and the hubs are quiet. You can sit up in the hubs but my favorite area is the hangout area where you can just chill with other travelers. Also nearby supermarket bonus and restaurants."

"Excellent location and is a few minutes walk from the rainbow street. Have its own parking area so perfect for those that start/end the trip with rental car. My advice is try to get the upper floor as I was allocated the GF which is the -0.5 floor versus the public road. So you wont able to sleep very late of a day, which can be good or bad. Other facility is all great and better than the hotel I stay earlier in Reykjavik."

"Unit 403 is way better than Unit 402! More spacious with 2 washrooms provided. Most importantly, their water heater works perfectly fine. I love the self-check-in system which is easy, quick, and seamless. The same goes for their luggage storage room! We were lucky to be able to witness the aurora from our unit!"
