We recently stayed at the Hotel Royal Continental in Naples from January 7 to January 9, 2025, and our overall experience was very positive. Location & Safety The hotel is located in one of the safest and most touristic areas of Naples, right on Via Partenope, facing the sea and Castel dell'Ovo. Naples, as a city, is still evolving into a true tourist destination. The city is making significant improvements to attract more visitors, and you can feel that transition happening. This particular area where the hotel is located feels very safe, thanks to continuous police presence. We saw officers patrolling on foot and by car at all hours of the day and night, which gave us peace of mind. The neighborhood is also filled with excellent restaurants offering a wide range of quality food at reasonable prices. Of course, not every place is great, but there are many good options within walking distance. Additionally, the historic center and most major tourist attractions are within walking distance from the hotel. You can take a leisurely stroll and reach the main sights in under an hour. Room & Comfort The seafront location of the hotel is outstanding. The view from our room was beautiful, and we loved opening the panoramic window to let in the fresh sea breeze in the morning and evening. It’s a wonderful way to start and end your day. The room itself was comfortable and well-maintained, with a level of luxury comparable to a 4-star European hotel. However, it's important to note that European hotel standards are different from those in the U.S.. By American standards, this hotel would be closer to a 3-star property. Despite this, the housekeeping staff did a great job cleaning the room daily and replacing towels. Service & Atmosphere The hotel staff is professional and polite, but interactions felt a bit robotic and mechanical. It seemed like they were following routines rather than making genuine connections with guests. That said, room cleanliness was good, and we appreciated the attention to detail in that regard. One thing that stood out is the hotel’s nostalgic 1950s vibe. The hotel seems proud of its mid-century charm, which they promote through signs and advertisements around the property. If you enjoy that type of retro atmosphere, you’ll appreciate this hotel. Breakfast Experience The breakfast at the hotel was excellent. The dining room overlooks the sea, which makes for a lovely breakfast setting. There are several breakfast stations with a wide variety of options, and the food quality was great. Waiters clean the tables and take care of guests throughout breakfast service, which adds a nice touch. We were very satisfied with the overall breakfast experience. Final Thoughts Overall, Hotel Royal Continental is a solid choice for staying in Naples. The location is its biggest strength, offering stunning views, proximity to restaurants, and easy access to the historic center. it provides a comfortable and memorable experience with beautiful sea views and a nostalgic atmosphere. Would we stay here again? Yes, for the views, location, and breakfast!

The hotel is small, run by some very friendly and helpful guys. Our room was big enough, very basic with a small TV, desk, tiny balcony and shower room. If we were just talking about the room and hotel itself, I would highly recommend it for the price. The location is great for the train stations. Apart from that the neighborhood is not great. There were *********** stood on the street outside our window and there were human faeces in the street. This isn't the fault of the hotel, but I feel that I should tell people as for some this may ruin their trip.

Nice and clean hotel with very helpful and friendly front desk and security guard. Location is very close to the Napoli Centrale which are great for a day trip to pompeii, salerno or sorrento. There were washer and dryer for guest use at a very reasonable rate of €2.50 per 30 mins wash and €2.50 per 60 mins drying. But in room amenities are limited but overall i enjoy my stay at this new hotel.

가족휴가로 여행중에 유아한명 데리고 방문했습니다 나폴리 시내를 둘러보고 호텔에 갔는데 도시느낌에 비해 상대적으로 많이 안전하고 세련되어 보이는 호텔이였습니다 조식당 뷰도 좋고 식사도 좋았습니다 주차는 지하주차장에 직원이 주차해주고 체크아웃시 제가 직접 찾아가는 방식이였습니다 객실이 아주 널고 컷습니다 추천해요

那不勒斯從羅馬開車過去也就是兩個半小時！就住一晚，訂了一個三人間包早餐4000塊。總的來説其實價錢也還行，因為畢竟在歐洲的吃住三個人吃飯打底都是150歐也就是1000塊了。是個100多年的老房子可能因為牆磚太厚的原因，根本在房間裏面沒有WiFi，什麼都沒有，一晚上就是找不到信號。 位置是絕佳，出門就是海邊。走路去廣場也就是10分鐘。自駕遊的話，停車費一天45元歐。其實是有點心疼+但是好像也沒什麼選擇，因為在歐洲包車的話，那一天也是600歐元。這麼一比的話，停車費也就不算啥了

Great hotel, clean and friendly staff. The rooms were spacious and well-appointed, making my stay even more enjoyable. The view from balcony was amazing. The location was perfect, allowing easy access to local attractions and dining. Overall, it was an excellent experience that I would gladly recommend to others.

Superbe hôtel, très facile d'accès à la sortie de l'autoroute. Parking surveillé ! Chambre rien à redire ! Wifi impeccable. Petit déjeuner très copieux et très diversifié. Personnel très accueillant

Hotel location is nice for me because I needed to reach airport in the next morning. The hotel staff were nice and friendly both check in and check out...very helpful also at the hotel restaurant. Nice to stay.
