This hotel is quite basic, similar to an economy hotel in China. The room isn't very spacious, but the details are well-thought-out, and all necessary amenities are available. The hotel's main advantage is its incredibly convenient location; just step out the door to the left, and you're at Kanazawa train station. The ginkgo trees lining the streets in late autumn offer a charming view, making travel very easy. I noticed many domestic business travelers and older students staying there. The hotel has a public bathhouse accessible with your room card, but we were too exhausted from sightseeing every day to try it. Overall, this hotel isn't for a relaxing 'lie-flat' stay, but for those who frequently visit attractions, its location and value for money make it a pretty good choice.

I'm always impressed by how well the Japanese maintain their facilities. This hotel was built in 2019, so it's not brand new, but when you're there, you realize it's exceptionally well-maintained. The rooms come with complimentary bottled water and coffee, and you can enjoy the onsen on the top floor every day. For such a prime location, the bathroom is surprisingly spacious, and you can tell a lot of thought went into the details. The service, as expected in Japan, is wonderfully warm and attentive. The hotel is located right in the heart of Kanazawa, with a bus stop right outside the door, making getting around incredibly easy. It's only two stops from Kanazawa JR Station, and there's a mall across the street with a supermarket where you can conveniently pick up any snacks you need. Highly recommended!

Very good location just opposite the train station and shopping malls. You can get many stores or food shops easily within a few minutes walking distance. The breakfast is super good with lots of fresh sashimi and sweet prawns. The hotel services are great too with friendly staffs assisting you whenever you need them. A big compliment to one of the service member called 张 who even helped us to book the hotel in Hakuba. Definitely will come back again with no hesitation.

HOTEL MYSTAYS PREMIER Kanazawa – My Absolute Favourite of My 2026 Japan Trip! I stayed at HOTEL MYSTAYS Premier Kanazawa for three nights, and it ended up being my favourite hotel of my entire trip. The room was extremely clean and very spacious — at 32 sqm, it really was much larger than most hotels in Japan for the price paid and was very comfortable for a longer stay. The pricing was also very affordable for the space, quality, and comfort provided, making it excellent value for money. Service from the staff was also excellent — friendly, professional, and always helpful whenever we needed assistance. There is a bathtub provided with bath salts given at the front desk Food: I also tried the Kanazawa Gozen (last pic) recommended by the hotel, and it was fantastic. At 3,500 yen, it was well worth the price and a great way to experience local cuisine without leaving the hotel. Location: 5 mins walk from JR Kanazawa Station exit, pretty straightforward, with an underground walkway, which is noticeable after exiting and turning left. Overall, an outstanding stay and easily my top hotel choice during this trip. I truly hope to return and stay here again in the future.

We had a very pleasant stay at Tokyu Stay Kanazawa. The hotel is in a great location, within easy walking distance to Kanazawa’s main attractions, shopping streets, and public transport, making it very convenient for exploring the city. The room was clean, modern, and well designed, with one feature I really appreciated — the in-room washing machine, which was extremely convenient, especially for travellers on longer trips. The bed was comfortable, and the room had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were polite, friendly, and helpful, providing good service throughout my stay. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. Overall, Tokyu Stay Kanazawa offers excellent value, comfort, and convenience. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kanazawa and would happily stay here again.

The hotel itself boasts a fantastic design, and its location is absolutely superb. It's right opposite the seafood market and just a few minutes' walk from Higashiide Coffee, which meant I had the pleasure of enjoying breakfast and coffee there one morning. It's a bit of a distance from Kanazawa Station. While the hotel does offer a shuttle service, it only operates in the afternoon. I ended up taking a taxi to the hotel from the station, but this was perfectly acceptable. Overall, it's excellent! I've already recommended it to my friends and will definitely be back!

I've lost count of how many times I've stayed at this hotel; it's always my top choice when I come to Hokuriku (unless it's cherry blossom season and prices are too high). The rooms are spacious enough, and this time, my room even had a proper desk, so I didn't have to work in bed every night. Lately, many hotels in Japan don't provide bath salts, but this one still does. It's so relaxing to come back after walking over 10,000 steps and use the massager to soothe my tense muscles. The bedding and linens are clean and comfortable. Breakfast has always been a major draw for me. They offer sashimi, cooked fish, salads, yogurt, fruit, and plenty of small pastries (though I don't eat much of them anymore due to age). You can also get a hot bowl of Oden. The room is equipped with a microwave, so you can heat up some milk before bed. I love it so much, I stayed for four consecutive nights.

A truly satisfying stay, made even better by the snowy Kanazawa scenery! Upon check-in, the front desk attendant was incredibly gentle and thorough in explaining the check-in process and hotel amenities. In the lobby, there were complimentary tea bags and coffee available, but what impressed me most were the free, travel-sized skincare products like toner and lotion – they were a lifesaver. The hotel is located on a quiet side street within the Kanazawa Station area, offering the best of both worlds: convenient transportation and a peaceful environment. All things considered, it offers excellent value for money.

I'd stayed here pre-pandemic. While the name has changed, it still maintains that distinct Japanese style, and is just as clean and convenient as ever. Plus, there's a department store right next door.

Facilities: For Japan, a 34 sqm room is excellent – spacious and comfortable. The only downside is that the buildings are very close together, so you can clearly see into the neighboring units. Cleanliness: Clean and tidy. Environment: Right downstairs is Kanazawa Station, two large shopping malls, and various convenience stores. Service: This is where I have to complain! It states no room service from 9 PM to 7 AM, but even at 9 AM, no one answered when I called for room service. Also, they refused to help me book Myoryuji Temple every time I asked.
