The hotel staff were very enthusiastic and proactively upgraded my room, allowing me to witness the most beautiful sunset I've seen all year. It's super convenient for getting around, the room was spacious, and the bed was very comfortable, so I slept really well. The breakfast fruits were incredibly fresh.

1. Slow check in process by the staff who had assisted me as compared to my friend’s. Though I have 3 rooms to check in but was asked with lots of questions and the whole process took me at least 30mins? - not sure if this is normal. 2. Cleanliness of the room was horrific for a Google 5-star hotel. Mentioning the worst - Insect carcasses was noted at a corner of the living room on the check in day as shown in the picture. It was still there even after room service. 3. Cash left on the dining table when missing after returning to room at night. Believe it was assumed as ‘tips’ after room service? Tips for not cleaning insect carcasses? 4. The kitchen sink was clogged again despite the first repair. 5. 2 out of 4 toothbrush kits were opened with missing toothpaste on the check in day. Out of so many bads, at least I’m glad that the guards over there were friendly.

Our stay was most enjoyable - a very pleasant hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Well designed hotel with few pretentions, offering comfort and good service. Hotel room - Simple, spacious with good modern facilities. Good, well-designed Breakfast area - Breakfast facilities are very good, with good selection of well prepared food (including an egg station), with thoughtful variations from day to day. The manager in charge of breakfast is attentive, efficient and friendly. Well-designed Bar and pool area, which provides live entertainment (including movie nights with free popcorn). Although on a busy road, it was quiet. Hotel has an outlook (to the rear) from the swimming pool area across to the quiet fields and lush green hills (we enjoyed the sighting of cows and birds in the background). Special mention of Mr Mokthar at Front Desk - he is personable, experienced, helpful and made us feel welcome the moment we stepped in. He is a valuable asset to Bayou hotel. Thank you for a memorable stay.

Warm welcome from Natasha set the tone for a great stay. My pool-view room was clean, comfy, and had easy access to the cascade pool, though it was a bit far from the lobby despite my request. Buggy service is handy but can take 15–30 minutes at busy times. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices. Overall, I’m very satisfied and would happily return and also special thanks to all the staff for their genuine friendliness and hospitality.

We stay at the sea villa studio, quite secluded from the other hotel room and looks empty from far but everything is good actually. All amenities are complete, big room and quiet. The sea villas are also share with the langkawi lagoon residence and some personal buyer. Breakfast also nice and delicious. Only the location is not over the tourist area like pantai Cenang or pantai Tengah thus no direct beach access

After such a hectic schedule of wedding, me and my husband thought of having WE time before returning to work, I must say we made the best decision.  Rebark island is a private island with beautiful resort and best rooms having sea pool or forest silent view. Beach, swimming pool, spa, gym access. Room amenities and housekeeping top notch. Breakfast buffet and food was very tasty I must  Staff here is so friendly.. if you want some time out from the daily chaos and this place is the best. Highly recommended

It’s such a unique hotel! It’s exactly as what’s shown in the pictures. Super love the quirky decorations. My 2-yr old son were excited to see all the figurines and can’t get over the giant rabbit drinking the juice at the swimming pool. Having the beach at our doorstep was a huge bonus and the pool was also lovely. Staff was warm and friendly and the breakfast spread was so hearty and delicious. It’s definitely a hotel that we will go back to again and again!

The receptionist seemed overly inquisitive, asking a lot of unnecessary questions during check-in. It felt more like an interrogation than a welcoming process. Additionally, instead of providing clear instructions, they came across as giving commands on how to use the lift and the check-out procedure, which made the interaction feel less friendly and more rigid.

I stayed here for three nights. The breakfast is really excellent with a nice variety of different foods. The pool is excellent.  Despite the hotel being close to the airport, you wouldn’t notice the noise of the planes at all

I have just returned from a truly wonderful stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Langkawi, and it exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were immersed in luxury. The facilities are absolutely excellent—from the stunning pools to the beautifully appointed room, every detail was perfect. And the view! Waking up to that breathtaking vista of the Andaman Sea was really awesome and something we will never forget. What truly made our stay exceptional, however, was the staff. Every single team member we encountered was so helpful, friendly, and genuinely dedicated to ensuring we had a perfect experience. We would like to give a special mention to Asri at the Beach Grill. He is such a nice and wonderful person. We felt so comfortable and grateful to talk with him; his service went far beyond just taking our order. He shared so many funny stories and insights about Langkawi, its culture, and its beautiful nature. He has a fantastic sense of humour and a real passion for the island, which made our meals there not just delicious, but truly memorable. He is a real asset to the hotel. Thank you to Asri and the entire team for making our vacation so special. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and we are planning to return hotel soon.
