Fast quick check in and check out, the service was friendly while being very professional. Great price, and location. Straight shot down on Sunrise Highway to merge on to Belt Parkway and get to JFK. The room was very cleanly and the whole hotel has a great 1950s retro ambience to it. Pool maintain though we didn’t go in. Looks fun. will stay here again as I have done so before and never had a bad experience. Staff is great. Highly recommend camp beat the Location vast array of restaurants and activities on Sunrise Highway. great staff great hotel. Great price!

My wife got us a room there for a decent price. It was just us 2 and had a double bed. Before we settled in we look at the sheets to make sure they are clean. They are soaked in “LOVE STAINS”. So I go downstairs and ask for another room. The attendant, which was a very nice lady gave us another room after I explained what the problem was. So she gives us another room across the hall. The same thing. Blood stains, love stains and hair in the sheets. I then pack up everything and head downstairs to speak to the manager. I am leaving. I request a refund and because I had used another app to get the room, only the manager could do something. The lady said there was none available and to leave my info. So I wrote down my email and phone number. It’s been 3 days and no one has contacted me. I’ll leave the pics and you guys decide… the pics are from the bathroom in one room and the bedroom across the hall.

DIRTY DIRTY DIRTY (ROOM 116) Every surface looked like it was sprayed and wiped down with MILK. Floors had not been vacuumed. Lingering smell of previous smokers made the room stink bad. Desk had food crumbs dried and crusted stuck to surface. (?) HUMAN FLUID STAIN on bed cover. Pillows looked older than I am. Remote control was groady. Light fixtures where dusty and sticky. Bathroom seemed clean (surprisingly). Flooring is sinking and broken at bathroom entrance. Slept in my winter coat with gloves and socks ON TOP of second sheet. Did NOT sleep under covers, but my coat was warm enough. Didn't want my bare skin to touch any of the bedding. Slept with lights on just in case potential bugs wanted to crawl onto the bed by dark of night. Better to sleep in your car at a Walmart parking lot. Americas Best Value is Americas Grossest Hotel Stay. To management : please shut this place down and rebuild your rooms from top to bottom. REPLY TO OWNER RESPONSE BELOW : When a diseased tree bears rotten fruit, it is of no benefit to seek an alternate fruit from the same tree. Such is the case with your hotel. After reading other reviews the next day, quite a number of hotel guests reacted with the same disgust as I had during my stay. So, what benefit would it have been to ask for an alternate room since the entire facility is ”diseased” when it comes to cleanliness and upkeep. I WILL SEND A COMPLAINT TO THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT SO THEY CAN SEND AN OFFICIAL INVESTIGATOR.

Very disappointed - first off, it was hard to get into the room (153) - it was a key card that you had to positive 'just so'. It took me several tries. I had also seen about three squashed bug on the floor but figured they came in with the open door - NOPE, after taking a shower, I found roaches crawling on the chair, the wall and the ceiling. I went to the office and Mac (very nice and helpful) came, saw and moved me to a room next door (151) - asked if I thought it was ok, but I found a squished bug - we tried door number three (that was ok but I was skeeved out). Also there was a truck that kept changing locations in the parking lot - I was guessing he was ************* since he did not seem to have a room - It was hard to view the program guide on the remote/screen (would not change stations nor tell me what was coming up). The microwave was clean but the turn table did not seem to go with the appliance. At least the refrigerator did not freeze food like the last time. A hair dryer was lying on the dresser but I did not try to use it (seemed as if it was supposed to be on the wall or removed. The bed was clean, the pillows ok, towels very thin. The place is reasonable price and pet friendly but the roaches and people in the parking lot were scary. Never again will I stay here! By the way, Mac at the front desk really tried hard! (but he had not much to work with - only good think was the hotel seemed empty so there were rooms to choose from and this door was easier to open) - oh on the morning I left, the toilet bowl would not fill - thus did not flush. (and I'm betting management will send me the standard response of 'we are sorry you had a bad experience but we are working on things - hope you stay again)

It's a good hotel It's good for the price, so it's good to travel. I strongly recommend it.

When I went to *********** and looked at the picture gallery on **********, well...I am just saying, my room does not look anything like that picture. My room is well designed, and larger than some of the ones that I have stayed on my 8 day vacation trip, however, one corner is totally wasted. The carpet in this room needs replaced, or it should have the new laminated floor as pictured. They have a nice, spacious breakfast bar that looks like one of the nicest features here. However, they have never brought it back since the end of the pandemic. I think that is a waste and a mistake on their part. I found the staff here, the maintenance man to be very helpful. This is a good location to stay, convenient to the local sites, Bear Mountain and West Point. Wew slept well here.

It's a good hotel It's good for the price, so it's good to travel. I strongly recommend it.

This hotel worked out great for my family. Rooms are clean. It’s very quiet. Staff is great as well. The front lady who is the manager Jana. She was very nice and attentive so was every worker. I went there with my children and asked them for extra towels, water & drinks & cleaning and they were very attentive and generous about it. The pool is clean and great. There’s a gas fire pit where our family had a blast every evening. The yard is just great decorated to hang out at night and we even ate dinner there. There’s lots of traffic by the near road but it’s not loud at all. They also give you a beach pass for several beaches every day, which was very convenient. I would return.

We stayed here since we used the airport that is close, it was ok for one night layover.

Me and the family was on a road trip and we decided to spend the night at the Super 8 in Montgomery, NY, we needed room with 2 beds. We were very surprised with the walk in rate at $177.00 plus tax with total charge of $200.03 for one night for 3 people with no pet, since it was late we decided to give it a try. The room was awful, the bathroom door would not close, the toilet was Shakey and the carpet was very filthy, the only positive aspect of this stay that was okay it was the beds, the mattress was fair and the sheets ,pillows were nice and clean, but the overall value and experience was sucks!! Now I learned a valuable lesson is to never again to make a walk in reservation or got to a Super 8 Motel ever again !!

Absolutely disgusting and filthy hotel. An entire nest of bed bugs on the bed, ants and cockroaches crawl on you when you're sleeping, mold and stains on the walls and floor. The toilet leaked and the tub was clogged, had to hold the bathroom sink up with my knee while I brushed my teeth. Our visit was so awful I went through the chain of command and found the owner of this franchise location and he told me to sue him, so I have obtained an attorney. The outside grounds are filthy and extremely unsafe for women especially... Stay away at all costs. There are other hotels in the area just down the road that are almost the same price, the extra couple of dollars are worth your health and safety. The amenities listed on the website are non-existent at this location, some rooms have a microwave, most don't. The refrigerator may be there but most likely doesn't work. The electric is hot or miss between outlets in the room. This place is awful, I don't think the state should even be paying to house homeless people in it, no one deserves to live in that filth. Oh, and ladies, bring a man with you if you need to speak to the GM Heath, he made it very clear to me that he wouldn't hear me until I brought my 6'5” son with me, then suddenly Heath acknowledged me
