would like to inform you that I was subjected to a disrespectful attitude by the receptionist, which is completely unacceptable and disrespectful, and contains unacceptable racism. On Friday night 1 September at 23:35, I went to buy a bottle of water and they are people in reception. I asked them for permission to pass before them, so they smiled at me welcoming, but the receptionist refused to pass me and asked me in an unkind way to wait . There was another woman waiting, and after the customer finished his check in, the woman looked at me and allowed me to pass before her because it was only a bottle of water, but the receptionist shouted at me and refused to pass my order with bad way!!! . I left the water and he insisted that I wait even though the woman repeated her words and told him that she allowed me to pass because it was a bottle of water... I strongly object to this inappropriate attitude of your employee..

La stanza era notevole, al di sopra di ogni aspettativa. Il personale, estremamente disponibile e cordiale. Il servizio colazione, tra i migliori che abbia mai mangiato. Che altro dire? Direi che è il caso di farci una visita. Anche perché si celano delle piccole meraviglie cinematografiche nascoste ad ogni piano! Spoiler!

This is a beautiful hotel, conveniently located at the bottom of the cable car giving easy access to/from the railway station. The hotel provided a Ticino ticket meaning that the cable car could be used for free. The staff are extremely polite and helpful. I would love to stay there again in the future.

I had a big room with a view of the lake. Super comfortable bed. Good quiet air-conditioning. Lights, curtains all magically controlled from a dashboard near your pillow. The digital check-in needn't scare you as the friendly owner is present to help. It's five minutes' walk from a family beach on the lake, and there's plenty of very cheap parking nearby. A five-minute drive from Locarno and its restaurants, this is the ideal studio-hotel for total peace and quiet while you visit the sights of Ticino. No breakfast or official reception, but the owner is always around and is full of good advice about what to see. Free drinks in the fridge. A perfect holiday base.

Sur conseil de l'hôtel Foni d'Airolo nous avons pris une chambre dans cette maison. Pas d'ascenseur . La chambre très propre, belle salle de bien. J'ai passé une nuit de m...., j'ai mal au dos ! pour matelas, Il y a une espèce de couette d'à peine 10 cm poser sur des lamelles de bois qui ne ressemble en rien à un sommier où il n'est pas possible de rehausser la tète ou le haut de dos. (j'ai demandé un deuxième coussin pour mon épouse) et avec la couverture supplémentaire j'ai mis sous la couette pour rehaussé la tète de lit. Pour le prix qui est facturé de CHF 225.-- je me croyait dans un 3-4 étoiles. (j'ai par téléphone et grâce aux commentaires de TripAdvisor) Il est vrai qu'à Airolo àctuellement il se percé le 2ème rube, il y a certainement saturation de lit qui justifierait le prix !!!

The hotel is very nice. The location is perfect, you can reach the lake easily by foot (ca. 2min). It is annoying that they charge extra for parking.

Last minute booking here after I missed my train and had to suddenly rearrange travel plans. Staff super friendly and the lady even stayed late to let me in and kept good communication by email. I had a lovely big private room with comfortable bed and a sink. The hostel is in a superb location and in lovely grounds (I wish I had been able to stay long enough to use the pool!). As it is a hostel the facilities were fairly basic and there was some early morning noise from people as my room was next to reception (get a room upstairs if possible), but nothing unreasonable or unexpected. I would definitely stay here again and recommended it to others I met on my travels

My family and I recently stayed at the Hotel Dell’ Angelo in Locarno. I was accompanied by my medical assistance dog. I was disappointed to find out that the hotel charged me a pet fee even though I explained that my dog is a medical assistance dog and was willing to show the clerk my government issued service dog ID from my home province British Columbia in Canada as well as the attached info which was issued by Hotellerie Swiss. The clerk was quite rude and didn’t want to see either and just handed me a business card and told me to email the manager/owner of the hotel. After my return to Canada I sent an email to the hotel and included the attached info and also sent a message via Facebook, but over a month later I still haven’t heard back. CHF12 isn’t a huge deal for one night, but that can add up quickly if staying at a hotel for several nights. Assistance dogs are considered medical equipment and aren’t pets. They are needed to help a person with a disability. Apart from the pet charge and the rude front desk person, we had a good stay. Restaurant staff was friendly and the food was good. Location is great as well. The rooms are tiny and old-fashioned, but I guess for the price you can’t expect more. Soap and facecloths in the room would have been nice.

I arranged my trip at very short notice, arrived very late, but Luca was there to welcome me to his Hotel. Nothing was too much trouble and when my lift to the Airport didn’t arrive due to a landslide on the main road from Milan to Lugano, Luca offered to take me, without which, I would not have made my Flight home. In short, excellent location, great value for money and a perfect host!

A luxury hotel with an ancient style, good maintenance in a public area, we stayed in the ancient building, a clean room but furniture needs updating. Breakfast is a wonderful meal but without vegetables, very limited for such a luxury hotel, the staff is great, we had dinner not so special for the prices.
