KKD TravellerHotel is located outside of the city centre. It takes 5 mins by bus and 25 mins by walk to reach the city centre. The bus stop is nearby. Not much food options near the hotel, only there are KFC and a fish and chips shop. The hotel is clean, room is cleaned every day. Breakfast is English style with same menu every day. The breakfast is served from 7 am which is late as we had to catch coach for daytrip which starts from city centre at 7:30. Though I had booked room with breakfast from Trip.com, the receptionist was asking to book the breakfast again as it seems trip.com doesn't share the breakfast booking with hotel. So receptionist asked to show the proof of breakfast booking which was awkward. Other than this minor issues, overall experience was good.

GGuest UserOn arrival we were met with a very run down looking hotel, which needed a fresh coat of paint and the missing letters from the hotel name replaced. However, the staff were excellent, very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was wonderful and food in the bar was very good. Lovely swimming pool, which was an added bonus.
Our room was however small and dark, with low lighting and we hardly had any channels on our tv due to poor signal. There is no lift at the hotel so not ideal for anyone with health issues.
This was our most expensive hotel during our mini tour of Scotland and definitely our worst room

The Glenmhor is a good hotel, well appointed and in a very convenient location. Staff are friendly and while the breakfast is not the best, it is adequate. When I visited the food was not hot and only scrambled egg was on offer.
Here's the main gripe. BEFORE BOOKING READ THE SMALL PRINT. If you are driving you will pay an extra £12 per night for the privilege of using the hotel car park which is not secure and open to the public.
The cost is simple scandalous and blatant gouging. The very helpful reception staff pointed out that guests actually have a discounted rate! Umm? 🤔 Neither is it reasonable to blame outsourcing of the carpark to a contractor; the car park belongs to the hotelier! 😠
After discovering that another nearby hotel (The Craigmonie) had recently started charging £6/night, I decided not to use it again out of principle. Such charges for guests already paying exorbitant room rates is nothing short of daylight (or rather, night-time) robbery.
I travel through Inverness frequently but I will not use the Glenmhor again, out of principle. Inverness hoteliers have simply become greedy. For an overnight bed, either go budget (Travelodge) or look outside of the city.

AAirborn63The hotel is situated some 20 KM south of Forth William in a small village, located at the loch with views across the water.
The rooms are large and comfortable and clean but not modern, the hotel has a restaurant and pub. I used a room in the main building there are also pods outside near the water.
Was disappointed that the London like rate did not include breakfast, if you charge £285 per night in the country side I would expect breakfast.

MmunirahThe hotel was easy to find, located right by the main road. The rooms were quite small, and with luggage, the space felt a bit tight. However, there was a small outdoor balcony with a table and two chairs, which provided a nice spot to sit and eat.
The rooms looked modern and recently renovated. The bathroom was well-designed, featuring sleek black tiles and gold fixtures, and the hot water worked perfectly. One of the best features of the room was the separate sink area, along with a microwave and fridge. This was especially convenient for heating up food or enjoying ready-to-eat meals from the nearby Aldi if you’re too tired to head out. The room also came with a kettle, coffee, tea, and even a chocolate wafer as a thoughtful welcome touch.
There is no reception desk at this hotel, so it’s important to have internet access as check-in is fully digital. You’ll receive your room number via email just before your arrival. Make sure to complete the online pre-check-in to confirm your stay and receive further instructions.
Overall, it was a comfortable and convenient one-night stay.

A very warm welcome on arrival by Miss Mary who was also the one who wa replying to our emails.
Friendly staff. Gave us great suggestions on what to see and do in the area.
We highly recommend this place to everyone.

GGuest UserIm absolutely disappointed in the end. They owe me 17,95£ for a canceled whole breakfast. The man on the reception couldn’t give it back to me and they left him alone without any help… He even wanted to charge me 23£ instead. It was absolutely awful. I needed to leave for my flight so in total I got no money back. The Rooms are not well cleaned and even hair was in my bed. I want my money back! This is not over yet.

GGuest UserWhen we arrived all the available car parking was full and we ended up parking in the next street outside someone's house. The room was compact which we expected as we had booked a small room. Check in was very quick and information was given to us regarding the hotel and breakfast. Our room was very clean, if a little dated. When we switched on the TV it would not screen any programs. We phoned reception and they sent someone within five minutes to sort out the problem which turned out to be a fault with the aerial cable.
Breakfast was well organised and the service and food quality and selection was good.
Overall the hotel was convenient and ideal for us on a one night stay on our way back from the Hebrides and we would certainly stay here again if we do the same journey in the future
