The hotel is conveniently located right next to Budapest Keleti train station, making it easy to travel around the city. It’s only about five tram stops to the city centre, and there are plenty of supermarkets and restaurants nearby. If you get a room facing the main road, you’ll also enjoy a great view of the train station.
However, there are some downsides. The air conditioning doesn’t work during autumn and winter, so the only option for ventilation is to open the window. Unfortunately, the hotel is extremely noisy since it’s right next to a main road where police and ambulance sirens go off very frequently, making it hard to rest. Additionally, luggage storage isn’t free—you have to pay by the hour, which feels a bit inconvenient.
Overall, it’s a great choice for location and convenience, but not ideal if you’re looking for peace and quiet or comfort in cooler seasons.

Walked past the entrance several times, must admit looked like a derelict building, room wes basic but clean and comfortable, great shower and great location. Could not fault the value for money. Breakfast had a good selection also
As most reviewers have highlighted, the location is unbeatable for an early morning flight (ours was a 6am departure) - that’s what customers pay a premium price for so it’s not strictly a plus point. There’s a gym at the top floor which is not too shabby. Breakfast starts late at 06:00 so we didn’t manage to try it. The reception suggested we have breakfast at IBIS instead (the two hotels are next to each other with the same entrance and lobby). Service is cold, not rude just matter-of-fact cold.
The main downside is the room design. The bed is positioned next to the shower room without a door separating the two. The sound of dripping water from the shower head drove us up the wall and kept us awake the whole night. Oh and there’s no privacy when taking a shower (there’s no shower door remember) so best to travel alone or with spouse/partner
New renovation and very quiet room if window face to backyard. Room is quite small, even a bit difficult to open one 26” suitcase . Breakfast is quite good choice but everyday the same.
Good location but still a bit far to walk to St. Stephen’s church and Parliament, but also not worth to take bus or metro, take time to go between station and target location, then only 2-3 stations, not really saving time.
Stay 4 nights, the cleaning lady didn’t vacuum clean floor everyday, still much hair on floor. Also, not refill coffee and tea, and only one bottle of water for the whole stay.
All round the Corinthia Budapest is a great hotel with good prices and excellent service from very friendly employees throughout the hotel. Excellent spar. Relaxed lounge areas.
The bedroom on fifth floor was very nice clean and comfortable. The heating system is set at a high temperature which can become quite uncomfortable in the middle of the night. Loved the Christmas decorations and Christmas Sunday brunch with free flowing beverages.
Very tasty food in the restaurant. The only issues we would highlight is the problem with the hotel being so big that the breakfast restaurant gets very crowded with delayed self service causing the food to become cold by time you sit down. This is also due to many guests leaving the Bain Marie food service warmer lids open as they are rushing to get food. Also the coffee is machines are not good quality or require servicing as the coffee was warm or cold once milk or cream was added. This was the case everyday over 5 days we never got a hot coffee.
Hot food and drinks are very important and this was unfortunately the only let down during our stay.
Hence the reason for a lower review score.
Aside from this I would recommend the hotel.
Decent breakfast. Decent room. Friendly staff. Average big chain standard. Location us good with bars, restaurants and supermarkets close, if you are too tired to go fast after a long day of sight seeing.
No tea/ coffee in the room but free in the reception - but i like a coffee in my pjs before i dress and face the world.
I would like to say a massive thank you to whoever did our room, she loved the surprise, really appreciated thank you.
Great customer service and very nice place to eat and not far away from all the tourists attractions.
I would definitely recommend it to others.

Amazing
TTsinEX1997The room is incredibly spacious, even larger than suites in many high-end or luxury hotels. The service is excellent, and the breakfast pastries are top-notch. This is an absolute gem of a hotel, highly recommended! 👍
FFeixiangheijingheThis hotel is conveniently located right next to Budapest Keleti Railway Station. The room size is larger than typical European hotels, and the facilities are quite new. The staff's service was also good. Initially, they gave me a street-facing room which was a bit noisy, so they moved me to a 7th-floor room. However, that room was even louder due to some machinery nearby. I went down at midnight to change rooms again, and the front desk lady patiently helped me switch, allowing me to finally get a peaceful night's sleep.
@@travel_with_the_sunVery chaotic and confusing check-in process. Arrived before check-in and got registered, just needed to get my key at check-in time. So far so good. At check-in time I am directed to an iPad terminal to register with with my name and my booking number from the accommodation, not then one on the booking portal, which I've no clue which it is. After me struggling to look-up this number out of countless CRM-emails I received from the Hostel the friendly staff member, looked up my name in the guest list, went back to the receptionist desk to check my check-in amd got my key card to my room.
Arrived in the room it didn't matched with the category and pictures I booked. Went back down to the reception, who fixed it. All this took a lot of time and not to mention all the Welcoming and Info-e-mails you receive from Maverick's at any occasion of the ”customer journey” process.
To the management and marketing folks there: Keep your check-in process simple. Your visitors are offered to pre-check-in online or at an iPad terminal in the lobby, just to end up queuing again at the reception to identify yourself again, pay the tourist tax or get their key card. It's nonsense. Have a vending machine spitting out the keycard for those cases. Just keep the regular check-in process as anywhere else directly at the reception with showing your passport etc... Stop these insane amount of email at every step of the customer journey, no-one needs this ot also makes it difficult to find one's relevant booking information.
Let's come to the positive part.
Staff is friendly and helpful.
My room was very nice, clean and comfortable, it was a good deal to. Good internet. The kitchen is great, well equipped and a nice place to connect with people. Free coffee and tea, also a water dispenser in the lobby - great!
There are many free activities organized by the hostel, we had a wine tasting for free and it was nice to talk to other guest there. Location is central, where you'll find all you need, even mini marts open 24/7. Free locker before and after check-in.
ZZhouchunxueThe facilities are complete, hygiene is good, the environment is beautiful, and the service is thoughtful. The surrounding amenities are convenient, and you can walk to the food street. Transportation is also convenient. I will book again next time.
GGuest UserThe location is very convenient if you need to get to the airport early in the morning. However, it's a bit far from the city center—it's the last metro station. The reception staff are friendly and patiently answer questions. The room is quite spacious, with a small hallway with a closet. The room has a table, chairs, a mini-fridge, air conditioning, and a kettle. It's nice that they provide coffee and tea (unlike the hotel of the same name). Everything is clean, with good linens and fresh towels. The Wi-Fi is good. Although there are cars in the courtyard, it's quite quiet.
Breakfast is a bit pricey—around 11 euros. A definite downside is the mini-fridge, which barely cools even on the highest setting.
Overall, the experience was favorable and I highly recommend it.
GGuest UserThis hotel is perfectly situated for sightseeing around the Buda Castle. Locations such as the Fishermen’s Bastion and the Museum and within easy walking distance (although including some stairs). The Chain Bridge is close, giving easy access to the sights in Pest.
The facilities in the hotel are excellent and the breakfast is top range.
The service is second to none. We received top service from the Room’s Division Manager.
I would certainly stay there again and would recommend it highly.
AAnonymous UserMy recent stay at Bristol Budapest Hotel was an excellent experience from start to finish; I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting Budapest.
I arrived at around 02:00, and despite the late hour, check-in was completely seamless. The staff were clearly expecting me; this made the whole process quick and effortless; exactly what you want after a long journey.
The room itself was immaculately clean and very well presented. I appreciated the small touches; like the fridge stocked with a bottle of water, which can be replenished simply by taking it down to reception. The bed was very comfortable, with soft, high-quality linen that made for a great night’s sleep. There was also a good tea and coffee setup in the room; a welcome addition.
Even though my room faced the street, I slept with the window open and wasn’t disturbed by noise at all; something that really stood out. The bathroom was spacious enough, with plenty of clean towels and some lovely complimentary toiletries.
At one point I needed an iron and ironing board; reception provided both immediately without any fuss; which summed up the efficiency of the service throughout my stay.
Breakfast was a real highlight. I had seen some mixed reviews beforehand, but I genuinely don’t understand why. The selection was extensive; covering both continental and hot options. Everything was beautifully presented, tasted great, and was constantly replenished and well maintained. It was easily one of the best parts of my stay.
What truly sets this hotel apart, though, is the staff. Every single person I encountered was friendly, helpful, and welcoming; always with a smile. That level of hospitality made a big difference.
Overall, this is a solid and reliable option for anyone visiting Budapest; I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

CCzyouzhoukeThis is a pretty standard hotel, but it's really close to the airport and they have a shuttle service, which is super convenient. It's also very quiet, making it perfect for travelers flying in or out, or those on a layover. The rooms are clean and tidy, and all the amenities you need are there, including a water heater. I especially liked how the toilet, sink, and shower are all separated – very well thought out. Overall, a great hotel that I'd definitely recommend.
GGuest UserThe hotel provides water dispensers with fresh drinking water available daily, which is very convenient and contributes positively to overall comfort. In addition, fresh juices are offered, providing a pleasant and refreshing option throughout the day. It is also worth highlighting that there is a selection of desserts available without added sugar, which is a thoughtful and health-conscious offering. Furthermore, the bus stop is very easily accessible on foot and offers quick and convenient connections to the city center, making it simple to explore the area without the need for a car.
