We liked the apartment on the beautiful Snæfellsnes peninsula. The apartment was well equipped with a small kitchen, and there was also a coffee machine and a toaster. The beds were comfortable, there were cupboards, and a pull-out couch next to the seating area. There was enough space for the three of us. However, we did not receive the access code from Trip.Com. The landlord did not respond to our email request. There was a telephone in the stairwell with a telephone number, a piece of paper, and a pen. We called and received the number code straight away. The house looks like a former office building, and our view from the window was of the parking lot. The bed linen was clean, but looked worn. Please replace it. There is a restaurant, pharmacy, groceries, and a bathroom nearby. Unfortunately, we did not see any fresh fish directly from the fisherman.

We added bed linens with additional charges but then we need to install it ourselves. We are already tired travel from far and setting the bedlinen ourselves is unacceptable. For the men's shared bathroom( not the toilet), the floor is full of dirt, without slippers it is very bad experience. I was showering with naked feet because I only travel with shoes. As there's a short distance from room to the bathroom that need to step through murt, other traveller slippers also became dirty and just walk into shower area with slippers on. There's plenty of space for shared kitchen which is awesome, but the auto door lock made it very inconvenient for a single person that is in middle of cooking and need to open door for partner, because 1 room is only given with 1 set of keys. I did not expect that the full windowed view of waterfall is only for ordering meal, oherwise I would rather spend 1 meal there for the scenery, sadly I missed the awesome breakfast.

Everything was great about this place. The staff was very friendly and nice. The room was extremely clean with everything. The shower was wonderful with very hot water. The breakfast included was superb. And we got to see the Northern Lights.

Beautiful venue, would highly recommend. Had been doing the ring road in a van that would last couple of days was so wonderful to come into such a cleanup, aesthetic, and calm environment to spend the night again. The breakfast was a big highlight, it's not very often a hotel breakfast tastes like a home cooked meal!

Very helpful staff and the bed is really comfortable. The common areas are a bit dated and the bathroom is a problem in that the position of the sink makes it hard to use and the shower floods the bathroom unless you built a towel wall to contain the water to the shower but then you have sopping wet towels to deal with. The shower setup is the kind of thing you have to put up with in India and other 3rd world countries. This place is not close to any grocery stores so you have limited food options. I had the dinner buffet which was good but fairly expensive.

We arrived earlier than the scheduled time. The room was not ready, but they allowed us to have a break in the dinner room. The service was very good. Breakfast was also good.

The room smells great, is humid, and the area is small; the restaurant service is good, and the sea view is good; there is no need to make a special detour to the Snaefellsnes Peninsula, and there is no need to stay in this hotel.

Quiet and clean hotel with lots of facilities which allow guests to enjoy. We arrived at the hotel late (after 9pm) and the hotel restaurant was still able to serve us food that was way beyond our expectations - the waitress was extremely kind and helpful. We were also able to catch the northern lights which was a pleasant surprise considering the time of the year (August). Overall, we are very pleased with our stay here.

Nice location, next to a beautiful river. Could see birds, pelicans etc This place provides a hot tub that soothes achy muscles. Family room is spacious for 3 pax, it would be too cramp for the 4 as the 4th pax needs to use sofa bed. Mini kitchen is well stocked either microwave, proper oven and four pot stoves Bathroom is spacious though the shower unit tends to overflow

It should be accurate to say that it is a small resort built by the farmer. There is no breakfast and dinner. The apartment is a holiday cabin with two bungalows. There is a terrace that can overlook the straw hat mountain in the distance. It is suitable for a few friends. You can drink and brag on the terrace at night. It is necessary to pay attention to the room next door may be noisy, and the local rest is at 9:30. What makes me very dissatisfied is that the check-in is to send an email to inform you of the room number, and the result gave me the wrong number. It happened that I checked in after nine o'clock that night. I found that my room was occupied. I knocked on the door and woke up the other party to verify. I called the local farm owner. The result was that the homeowner gave the wrong room number, but fortunately the residents who were woken up had a good attitude.
