The hotel is very well located in the centre of Ghent, less than 5 minutes walk to the Castle and pretty much opposite Graffiti Street. We stayed as a family of four and the room was well laid out with plenty of space for all of us. The room was clean and had amenities to make a hot drink.

Perfectly comfortable bed, we had a perfect night in this high-standard and very charming hotel. The ceiling is really high, and gives the room some really pleasant space.
The spa is also very pleasant, quiet and relaxing.
Highly recommended!

This is a fairly new and trendy place in a beautiful converted old barracks. It had a ”buzzy” feel to it, and is conveniently in walking distance of both the station and the town centre.
The room was mostly good - everything was spotlessly clean, the bed was comfy, and the coffee machine and kettle were nice to have. However, there was a big set of stairs to get up to them, so do check with staff while booking if you have any accessibility issues, and it made a midnight loo trip quite the adventure!
As for issues with the room, firstly the shower wasn't great. It had two separate hot and cold taps rather than a mixer, so it was a little difficult to get the right temperature. The shower hose was also quite new and stiff, so the shower head kept spinning around to point at the wall.
The Aircon positioning is also a little odd too - the unit is in the upstairs part over the bed, but the thermostat is in the significantly chiller downstairs by the door, so I woke up in the middle of the night with hot air being blasted at me!

GGrandBeanThis hotel, converted from an old military arsenal, is incredibly unique. If you're into architecture, you absolutely can't miss it. The rooftop bar is also super chill. I'll definitely come back next time.

GGuest UserLocation-wise, it's right next to Ghent City Hall, super central! Most of Ghent's attractions are within a 10-minute walk, and there are plenty of supermarkets and restaurants nearby, like Carrefour and McDonald's. However, because it's so central, it can get a bit noisy; you can still hear people on the street late into the night.
Service: The front desk staff were all very friendly and enthusiastic, and there's complimentary water.
Facilities: It's an older hotel, which is fine, but the TV isn't a smart TV so you can't cast to it. The air conditioning didn't seem to heat up enough, even when set to the maximum fan speed and highest temperature. On the upside, the room itself is very spacious.
Cleanliness: It was very clean.
Overall, for a few hundred yuan, staying in a chain hotel like this offers good value for money.

GGuest UserThe room is very big. I booked a balcony room, but the only room I was given was by the road. Room number is 141. Everyone should avoid this room. Because of the noise of cars at night. There was also construction in the morning, so I couldn't sleep well.
I reported it to Ctrip and it was solved.
There is always a body odor smell when the room door is opened, and the window needs to be opened for ventilation.
It takes 3-5 minutes to walk from the main old street.
The hotel environment is very good.

WWENJIAThe service of the hotel is very good, it is a small private house, the room is very big, and it is a handsome male waiter who also helped us plan the route of play. There is heating in the house, which just feels that the whole house is relatively old and smells a bit. Very convenient for self-driving, parking is free. You can rent hotel bicycles to play in Ghent, 9 euros per person a day. A small hotel very close to the people

GGuest UserThe location and the surrounding area are very beautiful and very good to do with the car. A large spacious shower, delicious beds and desk. The room was very dusty and I don't think the floors were depleted. I was walking through the room with my socks and could throw them away right away. Further very beautiful hotel and perfect for short stay!
