Room are a little old but of decent size and clean. its has a public hotspring bath which also has a small cold pool. We had dinner at the soba / tempura restaurant. food was good and staff v friendly.
Breakfast was great w good view. the only compliant is there is only 1 coffee machine and might need to queue up for it.
The facilities were what stood out at this hotel, from the complimentary red bean soup and crackers post-ski, to the beautiful public and private onsen with free ice pop and coffee milk, to the ping-pong table that our boys enjoyed in the evening. We booked the evening meals package with Ctrip which made it very convenient to have dinner in the hotel. The food was delicious although there was too much of it and it took 90mn to complete the course. I wish there was a casual Japanese restaurant onsite. The two bedroom junior suite gave a lot of extra space and privacy 👍🏻. What we found strange was that our room was ready by 1:30pm and our luggages were in but we weren’t allowed in until 3pm. Please make a conscious effort not to loose the hotel key card as they charge ¥3,000 for a lost keycard. That last note put a dim on our otherwise great stay.

Loved every moment of our stay here. Buffet food and the onsen was really nice bonus right after a skiing session . Room was small but we only went back to the room for sleep so no complaints. My only complaint is it’s hard get to Iiyama between 9-3 pm and after 5pm since shuttle bus stops so plan accordingly or get a rental ca
Hotel is new and there is a small ski slope nearby with limited number of course. Location is quite far away from Karuizawa and road condition not good for night driving. There isn't much nearby except for the small ski park but hotel room and facilities is quite good and new
I don't understand the bad reviews for the hotel. It's exactly as on the pictures and even as vegetarian we had no issues at the breakfast buffet! It's directly connected to the slopes and also has a ski rental shop (attention: they don't have goggles and gloves for rent). On the slopes you have a ski school too! So really perfect for a few days of skiing.

GGuest UserThis hotel delivers everything you want from a family holiday. Although it is situated away from the centre of the village, we found this to be an advantage for our family, preferring a quiet location. Only 5 mins walk to the Chuo main terminal, where you can catch the free local shuttle bus to the ski fields. Getting to the hotel from Iiyama station was also easy via Nagaden Bus No.9 from bus stop 2, which drops you off right outside the hotel (last stop). We had breakfast and dinner included. Dinner was exceptional with a different Japanese 10-course menu every night. We also added the optional extras which had horse meat one night, and A5 wagyu on other nights. Onsite onsen was great after a full day's worth of skiing. We also found the hotel staff extremely helpful and friendly, and Yumi was on hand to help with any odd requests. Thank you to the whole team for an unforgettable holiday experience!

However, I have to complain about the restaurant. There was a typo on the menu (appetizer listed as '24mouth' instead of '24month'), and when I kindly pointed it out, they acted as if I was deliberately looking for trouble. The shrimp on the second day wasn't fresh, and the chef wasn't very friendly when they brought out a replacement dish. This restaurant seriously dragged down my overall hotel experience. The poor service in the restaurant alone cost them two points.
66931****Location: The hotel is near the ski resort; in fact, the entrance faces the ski area directly, making skiing very convenient. As for transportation, the nearest station is Iiyama Station, about a 10-minute drive from the hotel. It's less convenient if you don't have a car.
Rooms: Both Japanese and Western-style rooms are available; clean and standard.
Facilities: The onsen (hot spring) on the ground floor is fantastic—very large. After a long day, soaking in the onsen and enjoying a cold drink is the best thing to do.
Food: Japanese cuisine, very varied and quite delicious.
Overall, a very nice hotel, very Japanese in style. The staff don't all speak English, but they are very polite.

CChengzizhenhaochi11This is a relatively Western-style hotel. The views from the mountaintop rooms are great, and the rooms are incredibly large, even in Japan. However, I feel some of the details aren't as good as those at a hot spring hotel. You can order Japanese and French food in the evening, and the food is quite good. The hotel staff's English is average. If you stay in a mountaintop room, you'll need to call the shuttle bus frequently. For convenience, stay in the main building. For the view, stay in a mountaintop room.

KKKBCTraveling to Hakuba for a family ski trip, we found the space to be more than adequate. The hotel has its own hot spring, the food is clean and hygienic, and transportation is very convenient. The parking lot is huge, making it super easy to get to the nearby ski resorts. We'll definitely book this hotel again next time we visit.
GGuest UserI stayed on the lake side of the 7th floor of the annex building, a renovated Japanese-Western style room. It was a tatami mats and twin beds, and a round low table and cushion by the window. It is a renovation that feels old here and there, and it is better not to see the bath in the room even if you do not use it. I don't use it, but it is a Showa bathroom. There are many families with small children, so it may be good if you are a family with babies that are difficult to travel. We were two middle-aged couples, so everything didn't go well. Next time, I will make a quiet room where I can eat quietly and make a bath hotel that doesn't run around. We stayed without checking well, so it can't be helped. The hotel itself is actively engaged in employment of foreigners, employment of disabled people, employment of locals, and I think we are very researching the menu of Viking dishes.
