CConstance_HuoLocation-wise, it's right by Wellington train station, making it a great choice if you're arriving by train or heading to London.
Facilities: They're quite old. The air conditioning was one of those large, vintage units I'd never seen before, and it was incredibly noisy, so I just turned it off. The room had a microwave and cutlery, and surprisingly, a mini-bar – which you usually don't find in hotels at this price point. However, there was a snag: no price list for the mini-bar. While I knew the bottled water in the fridge wouldn't be free, I was still surprised to be charged $7 upon checkout (when a similar bottle is around $2.50 at the supermarket).
Service: The downstairs restaurant has long operating hours. I was able to order a delicious burger after a late check-in, and grab a coffee and a pastry to go during an early checkout. Most of my positive impression comes from that restaurant.

AAnonymous UserThis hotel has a lot of artistic design, which I really liked. The stay was comfortable, and it has a pool and a hot tub, so no need to worry about the cold during winter trips. Right behind it is a large New World supermarket, which can meet all your daily needs. The room has cooking utensils and a washing machine. Across the street are a museum and the harbor, offering beautiful views. If I come back, I'll definitely choose this place again. Parking here costs $50, which is a bit pricey, but they offer valet service. You just hand them your car keys and don't have to worry about it; whenever you need the car, just ask them to bring it to the hotel entrance.

GGuest UserGreat spacious room, perfect for families. The bathtub was an added bonus I love that you can get Netflix and Disney Great breakfast lots of variety. Only disappointment was that the pool and spa are no longer an option being an extra plus on a rainy day with the kids but overall didn't diminish a positive experience.

Had the good fortune of stumbling across Martinborough on my way to Wellington. It's a quaint place with a variety of well appointed cabins with gas fireplaces and spa baths just outside the cute village of cafes, shops and wineries. Their team is kind and hardworking. 💯
Bring your own food since you'll have a kitchenette and food can be limited during the day since most places don't open until evening or the weekends for tourists. Also, recommend driving since it's both expensive and challenging to get around outside of the limited free shuttle. Bikes are available to rent for $40NZD 🤑🤑

GGuest UserWe had 1 night stay. Good facilities, like pool, Spa, Restaurant, however a few things need to improve to reach 4 star, like stated.
Our room was clean and tidy but some lights up in the ceiling were out, basin in the bathroom was very cracked.
We had dinner at the restaurant. I ordered pizza, where the dough was slightly undercooked, no crisp, sloppy.
Filter coffee at breakfast, that was included had a colour of weak tea. But you were offered to pay extra for a coffee on top of $30, you already paid for a buffet breakfast.
Previously stayed here before, but I think it needs a lot of improvements as it's gone down quite a bit.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, close to everything. It's just a few hundred meters' walk to Te Papa Museum, the waterfront, and even the Old Bank building where Jay Chou filmed. While it's not a new hotel, the facilities are well-maintained, and the service is great. The breakfast selection and quality are quite good for New Zealand, and you can order à la carte. They don't provide bottled water in the room; you have to call reception for it. When you do, they bring two large bottles of filtered iced water, which is a minor inconvenience for someone like me who drinks a lot of water.

GGuest UserThis was a short stopover in Wellington to board the early morning ferry to Picton as the hotel location was perfect for the city and ferry.. However we were very pleasantly surprised with the quality of the Movenpick. The rooms were clean and comfortable with all of the amenities you would expect and more. We were delighted with the complimentary chocolate buffet at 4pm most unexpected but delicious. The staff were also very helpful and friendly.

LLiao ChuankangThe room is very tidy and big, even there is no parking available but the staff showed me a free space along the road to park overnight.
There is even washing machine which surprised me and it was working well.
The breakfast is good but price is 35 nzd not 19 mentioned in the trip site. I booked the room reading others' comment about the breakfast but to be honest the types of food is not so much and didnt meet my expectations.

思思We booked a two-bedroom suite. Strictly speaking, it is OK. There are more flies here. Because we feel that there are more flies, we close the door after it is finished. It is very hot! Everything else is good! The equipment space is just right!
