"Nice hotel. Our room was not like many photos on the official page, but still a good room. The location is isolated but near Keukenhof. There is a very nice walk near the hotel to visit flower fields for free.
The restaurant is a little bit expensive compared to quality, but it’s ok."

"Had booked this hotel with the main reason it had a swimming pool.
Upon arrival we asked where the swimming pool was and the receptionist mentioned 'the swimming pool is closed' without any further explanation. There are many other similar hotels that have a riverview in Rotterdam but we selected this one because of the pool, we could have selected any other hotel for less money without a pool. This was very disappointing, even though the receptionist was vey kind she had no idea how important the pool was to us.
Won't be back any time soon, there are many other good hotel around that area that have riverview rooms."

Dee SparksConveniently located just 15 minutes from both the train station and the main shopping district, this hotel offers an ideal base for exploring the area. It stands out as one of the better options in its category, offering comfort and excellent service.
The staff are a true highlight – friendly, attentive, and responsive to all enquiries. A special mention goes to Merle, who went above and beyond to assist us with travel arrangements. Her warm and professional manner made a lasting impression.
One area for improvement is the breakfast offering. Guests with dietary restrictions or those who avoid meat and eggs may find the options somewhat limited. Expanding the menu to cater to a wider range of dietary needs would enhance the overall experience.
Overall, a highly recommended stay with thoughtful service and a prime location.

Guest UserThe hotel was really clean. The photos we saw of this hotel all over the internet showed it to be close to the promenade, but unfortunately it wasn't like the photos and it was a long walk from many things.
The breakfast didn't have the variety that a five-star hotel should have, it was about the same as a four-star hotel and there was very little choice. The Netherlands is famous for its cheese, and considering it was a five-star hotel and in the Netherlands, there was very little choice of cheese at the hotel's breakfast. The hotel didn't have slippers, it's a good thing we had brought them with us. We went to five- and four-star hotels in several different countries and they all gave us a bottle of mineral water a day, but here, no, there was no water and we bought it ourselves from the market. And another thing that really bothered us was the extreme coldness of the room🥶, to the point where it was like winter (we were there on September 1st). The air conditioner in the room was always on and could not be turned off at all, and they themselves confirmed this, and unfortunately I got sick there🥺😮💨.
One of the towels and one of the pillowcases were also dirty. If they can't be washed, they should be thrown away. This brings down the quality of a five-star hotel.
The menu selection was limited, but we had a very delicious fish dinner.😋

Guest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, right outside the metro station, and close to both the water bus stop and the bridge. The room was spacious enough, but the shower design was a bit odd; the half-glass partition completely failed to prevent water from splashing out. Because the room faced the main road, it couldn't entirely block out the noise from the tram. Breakfast was very good, with a wide variety of options. Housekeeping wasn't thorough enough, as the hair in the sink wasn't cleaned for several consecutive days of my stay.

rock888I couldn't check in because they couldn't find my booking and my name wasn't on their list. I've stayed at countless hotels, but this is the first time I've encountered such an issue. It took almost two hours to sort out, which was a huge waste of my time. Eventually, Trip.com found the hotel's internal booking number through an email the hotel sent me. Trip.com's handling was excellent; they upgraded me to a sea-view room and provided complimentary breakfast. Honestly, this wasn't Trip.com's fault, it was entirely the hotel's. The hotel gave me two drink vouchers and told me to wait in the restaurant, but after sitting there for ages, no one paid any attention to me. I showed them the vouchers, but no one asked what I wanted to drink. I asked for Wi-Fi and they gave me two long passwords, neither of which worked. The service was absolutely terrible. On the bright side, I did get to see a beautiful sunset from the room.

Guest UserI have stayed at this hotel at least 6 times for multiple days (this time 8 days) and there’s no customer recognition system or the likes. At least, a ‘welcome back’ would be nice. The staff are friendly, but not always the fastest, especially front desk. It feels like most of them are part-timers. The rooms are ok and reasonably clean and the location great. However, there were a number of hooks that were just coming off the walls of our room this time. If you are sensitive to noise, I would make sure you are not alllocated a room facing the train station, especially in summer when you may want to open the windows.

Tina25Overall, a pretty good experience! I arrived in Rotterdam around 11 AM and tried to check in, but was told the room wasn't ready yet. So I just dropped off my luggage and went out to explore. When I returned to the hotel around 6 PM to check in, the front desk informed me that all the standard rooms were taken. I was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a river-view room, directly facing the Erasmus Bridge! The room was also larger than the standard rooms I'd stayed in at other hotels in the same chain (perhaps due to my Hilton Honors membership, or maybe because a tour group had booked all the standard rooms). The hotel is conveniently located with a metro station right outside that goes directly to The Hague, and a tram that takes you to Rotterdam Central Station. The only minor drawback is that the hotel is next to a main road, so there can be some noise from motorcycles. If that bothers you, I'd recommend requesting a room facing the river.

Guest UserThe staff were incredibly friendly! This is one of the few family-friendly hotels that truly lives up to its name. The rooms are spacious and clean, with plenty of room for both children to sleep comfortably. The bar is also very pleasant and offers entertainment for kids. Breakfast was good, and the option to leave our luggage was ideal!

Maarten JansenFriendly service and nice room with free drinks in the mini bar (in many hotels these days they are empty).
It is unclear to me that the parking costs are 19.95 euros. It was not clearly stated prior to the stay and during check-in.
Eventually these were waived by the beverage manager. Friendly man.
I will come here again despite the Danish lady behind the reception who was rather sharp and curt.

Guest UserWe received great care from the staff and were able to use luggage storage, which was great. This hotel is right in between Scheveningen and Den Haag and easily accessible through metro, bus, and by foot. We enjoyed our stay and the decor. Unfortunately the closet and shower were slightly malfunctioning and the airconditioning was not that good. However, I believe this will be resolved shortly and would recommend a stay here!
