Hotel Dengan Spa di Bagmati, Nepal

I had a lovely experience staying at this hotel. The room was in great shape, and I slept super well. The hotel was kind enough to let me check in around 10:30 am and offered me fresh watermelon juice upon arrival. The room service and food is quite good and affordable. I was able to get several dishes and a drink for dinner for just 7 USD. It is located in Thamel (take that as you will). Really appreciate the security gaurds as it makes the whole property feel even more secure.

Great and best accommodation in Nepal I have ever stayed. It is full of culture and folks are extremely friendly.

Thanks to the tour groups overbooking the west wing I was put into a twin suite room and discovered room service at the Dalai La. Having had weeks of Dahl and rice and noodles, it was great to binge on pizza and burgers. Internet was a bit intermittent on the 5th floor but the room is quieter than those facing the courtyard in the west wing.

A business hotel in the Lazimpat area. The facilities are sufficient and relatively new, and considering the price, it is very cost-effective. There is a power outlet at the desk, so it was easy to do office work. There is also a Japanese restaurant on the second floor. The lobby is small and gets crowded when there are groups. It is within walking distance of the Thamel area.

Very pleasant. Staff is cordial and helpful. Rooms are clean, beddings are clean and comfortable. I have booked a suite for 3 people and all requirements were met by the hotel.

This is the second time I stayed at Ramada Encore in Thamel. I was not wrong to choose it again. Absolutely everything is good here ... the staff, the room,the breakfast (oh my, sooooo good), the location, the friendliness of every single employee, from the door in. A special recognition to Nikhil in the reception, whose service and support with a sincere smile is as comforting as the sunshine on an early autumn morning. And to the staff and therapists on the spa where I took a couple of massages that were superb. Kathmandu is a beautiful, yet hectic city. Thamel even more, so to have this oasis to come to after a long day wandering around or trekking is something to treasure. In my case, this is even more meaningful as I left all my stuff to go hiking on the Himalayas for several days, coming back to the hotel with the certainty that I was going to be happily and truly welcome. Again, I was not wrong. Thank you for making a difference and for understanding what the word service means. I will certainly choose you again and again every time I come back to this unique Kathmandu I learned to love. Namaste, 🙏🏼.

the service and environment are excellent and there are many good restaurants and shops nearby also easy to find I'll definitely book another night next time in Kathmandu

The hotel's service staff was very polite. As soon as they entered the hotel, the staff offered Hada and instantly felt that this strange city was very kind. It was very clean and hygienic. The breakfast can be ordered as your favorite, and then it is very delicate.

Hotel is in good location, staff was friendly who checked in us. I loved the room as they were quit big and comfortable, had an air conditioning in the room too. Shower facilities was good but could be better, plus point hot shower was available and bonus bath tub was available as well. Kettle was provided to us with drinking water, could be better if tea and coffee was available but staff was superb as they provided us with tea and coffee on request. Overall, it was excellent for me, in comparison to price, room sizes, location and friendliness of the staff. I even recommended my friend to stay as I was there.
