Based solely on price to value, this would be 3.5 stars out of 5. Bedding, towels, and floor were clean, but the room smelled of decades of cigarette smoking. Arrived at airport and called in to get shuttle bus. After 45 min wait took a Uber. Arrived. Surprising that as a Marriott Bonvoy wasn’t recognized. This is a first. Lobby is ok. But the rooms need a complete overhaul. Cold air blowing from wall heater. Room wasn’t cleaned after staying 3 nights. Garbage pilled up in ice room. Definitely not a normal Marriott experience. Front desk manager Shelly was very friendly. Made a difference. Ok now on to the bar in the lobby. Started out rough. The bartender seemed loss. I asked if I could watch hockey game and he couldn’t find. No effort. For hockey town I was shocked. But came back the next night and Zander was working. Such a sweet young fella. Made up for the previous experience 100%. Highly recommend if Zander is working

From the moment I made my reservation, I knew I was in for a special experience. The staff was incredibly helpful and answered all of my questions promptly and thoroughly. When I arrived, I was blown away by the beauty of the place. The rooms were even more stunning than they looked in the pictures, and the amenities were beyond compare. I had an unforgettable stay, and I can't wait to return.

I wanted a place close the the Mall of America so I could shop and come and go to all the activities for my 8 yr old son. The Hotel was perfect .. never had to experience the cold weather in my 4 day stay, as I simply needed to leave our coats in the room and use the sky bridge and we were inside the mall. The room was clean and I felt safe during my entire stay. The price was fair in my opinion and I will stay there again on my next shopping spree.

Excelente hotel

We traveled to visit our son and his family for Christmas. The hotel was located just two miles from our son’s home which meant more time with our grandchildren. The breakfast buffet was delicious, the rooms well appointed with everything we could need and the health and fitness room provided us with and opportunity to unwind after a six hour car drive. We will definitely book this hotel again!

Good location and easy parking. Clean room. Breakfast was okay but free. Coffee was good. Would stay here again.

We stayed for two nights. The desk clerk was friendly and very helpful, honoring our request to be moved away from the elevator so we could have a quieter room. The room was very comfortable, although we couldn’t get the shower to work. Not a big deal. The pool is small, as is the fitness center. The free breakfast is ample, with scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausage as the hot choices and plenty of fruit, breads, yogurt, and biscuits and gravy. All food was regularly replenished. The parking lot is in bad disrepair, potholes definitely need fixing. The hotel is very close to the airport, so you get that noise, but it’s pretty quiet between 10pm and 7am. Overall, we found the place comfortable and a good value for the money. Its location was perfect for us, just 10 minutes from everywhere we needed to be.

Myself, daughter and two grandkids stayed one night. The decor was rustic and very, very comfortable. Our check in clerk, Frankie was a gem. She helped accommodate me as I am unable to walk stairs. We were a bit early for check in, because we had to make a wedding several miles away. She did a great job of booking us in fast. Smiling the whole time and so polite! Other people would have been irritated, but she wasn't. The pool was wonderful and swimming was fun. Ps the pool temp was perfect for this grandmother ☺️

I booked two nights, but I left out the first one because my room was so cold with the fireplace on and the heat at like 80… ridiculous

Hotel is conveniently located across Mall of American South Gate and iHop and TGIF Fridays restaurant are both attached to the hotel . It only takes 5 mins to walk over to the mall . Distance from Msp airport to hotel takes about 15 mins . Room is relatively clean and simple. Basic needs are met.

DO NOT STAY HERE. EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE BY HOTEL MANAGEMENT. BEWARE OF ATTACHED MARRIOTT PARKING” PARKING GARAGE. HIGHLY RECOMMEND STAYING SOMEWHERE ELSE. Stayed here the past week with my Nephew celebrating his high school graduation. We had a fantastic time in the city and were a quick walking distance to Target Field and the Target Center. The Twins were in town all week so we attended three of their games. We also went to the Vikings preseason game vs the Raiders, which was also within walking distance. Tonight we went to the Lynx game at the Target Center vs the Mystics. BEWARE if parking in the attached parking garage! The one plastered with all the signs that say “Marriott Parking.” Apparently they aren’t affiliated with the garage. I was told tonight by the manager that their contract ended 4 months ago. I guess that is not enough time for the garage OR the Marriott to take down all of the signs saying “Marriott Parking.” I guess it also isn’t enough time for the Marriott to train their front desk staff on the fact that they should no longer instruct guests to park there anymore since the contract for the affiliation no longer exists. I can’t help but feel like it's a flat out lie. If your affiliation with another business ended FOUR MONTHS ago, then either party would have ensured by now that all signs advertising the affiliation would be taken down. I have been grossly overcharged multiple times during our stay for parking in the attached garage. The Marriott manager wants no part of helping me, accepts no responsibility for me being told to park there, and offered absolutely no assistance in helping me contact the garage or secure a refund for the overcharges. The front desk attendant I first spoke to about it called “the manager” who was allegedly in his car driving on his way home. He made some incorrect statements to “the manager” and neglected to correct himself when I pointed out what he said was not correct. When the call ended I asked for the manager's business card. The front desk attendant went “out back” to get one for me and came back with “the manager.” When I asked if this was the manager that was just on the phone driving home, I was informed this was a “different” manager. Why in the world would he have called a manager who wasn’t working when there was a manager on duty and IN the hotel? Why was this on duty manager not the one contacted in the first place? I definitely feel like there was some shady business being pulled. I've never had a situation handled like this at a hotel before. So just beware that even though there are about 20 signs in the garage that say “Marriott Parking”, and the front desk staff may tell you to park in the attached garage, that is NOT actually Marriott Parking and if you get overcharged or have any issues in or with the garage labeled as “Marriott Parking”, Marriott will give you the brush off and NOT assist you with said issue. IMO The value/convenience of airport hotels is being able to WALK FROM YOUR ROOM to check in , check your bags, then walk to TSA. This is not possible at this hotel. For some reason this hotel ( property is beautiful BTW) was built so that you need a shuttle from the hotel to the terminal which is literally 500 feet away. Best case scenario if you ONLY HAVE CARRY ONG BAGS and if ( BIG IF as TSA has very limited hours at the hotel connection ) TSA is open you can walk from your room to the boarding gate providing you have a boarding pass. If you have checked bags you have to use the shuttle or as in our case walk outside to the terminal. In reality be prepared to sign up for a shuttle the day before, be prepared to walk downstairs and find a lobby of 50 or more people waiting for one shuttle that runs every 20 minutes. We signed up for the night before a 4am shuttle, arrived at 3:45 am and come 4:45am were still waiting for a ride to the terminal so we actually walked across roads with airport traffic to the terminal............most of the walk had no sidewalks. It was walk or miss our flight. Oh did I mention parking is $29 a night plus tax ? We found it FAR easier, cheaper, more reliable and much less stress to book a hotel a mile or 2 away from offsite parking , stay at that hotel and drive ourselves to off site parking in the morning vs ( EZ air park has multiple shuttles running) fighting for a shuttle. I really HATE writing this review as we stay at the Tampa ( TPA) airport Marriott often and we can walk from our room with all of our bags to the ticketing area then through TSA. When I saw this hotel being built I was excited as it COULD HAVE been a perfect spot the night before a flight............why security is set up the way it is I have no idea and unfortunately it can't be fixed.

While the parking lot had lots of potholes (thus the 4 smiling faces), the room was very nice and was clean. I was very happy with the room. The reason I only gave 4 for service was the guy at the front desk was not very welcoming and pleasant, but did a good job.

From the moment I arrived I felt like a VIP guest. Immediately during my check in Mr. Nicholas P., the Front Office Manager, made sure I had a room to my liking. During my 6 day stay, Nicholas and his colleague Ms. Sonia W., Asst. Front Office Manager seemed to be there anytime I had a question or concern. They also made sure I had plenty of warm cookies the DoubleTree is known for! (a nice extra). The property is well situated, with both adult and family oriented dining opportunities. The dining room and bar on site are both well equipped and serviced by courteous and professional staff. Overall this location has everything you would need and well priced for all the amenities available. If you find yourself in Bloomington, MN. be sure to consider staying at this location.

Hotel is very good quality. Spacious rooms. Very clean. Didn’t get to enjoy any food as early departure. Van service is not great. My pickup was delayed significantly and driver when questioned about this got a serious attitude. Morning service to airport with crowded Van. Not enough seats. Needed two vans. Loading luggage took 15 minutes. Good location. Only 10 minutes from the airport and really good rate compared to others

So glad I picked this as my hotel while I was in the area. This is one of the best TownePlace suites I’ve been to. Emma, one of the managers, was so helpful and friendly when I had some questions about my reservation. The room was clean and well appointed. I liked how many outlets there were and the fast Wi-Fi. Great air conditioning and fairly well insulated from airplane noise. Everything was clean. The shower’s water pressure could be improved a bit it was still quite usable. Breakfast really impressed me. In addition to the scrambled eggs ubiquitous at every breakfast buffet, the hotel offered over easy and hard boiled eggs as well. There were several other hot options as well as a surprisingly large variety of yogurts, fruit, etc. Coffee and hot water were always available but I think they could do a better job of ensuring the containers are filled in the afternoon and evening. If you need the airport, be aware the hotel does not have a shuttle. However, it is an easy walk to the light rail stop, which can get you to the airport in 10 minutes. The mall is also walkable if it isn’t too cold when you are there.

酒店在大學旁邊，周圍超市和吃飯的地方都有，生活比較便利。 酒店和旁邊的home2大堂是聯通的。 房間衞生還不錯，入住的時候看得出都很乾凈。 值得吐槽的地方就是早餐基本沒什麼可吃的，和旁邊的home2一樣，除了雞蛋羹，麪包，齁鹹的香腸基本沒什麼了，在國內不一定能達到快捷酒店的水平，好在不挑剔的話也能吃飽。

Check in was ok... Although clerk stated they were full when we arrived after midnight and we had booked thru their Res Dept. Once she found out I was a diamond member she then changed her attitude! Pool is down due to some funk in the pool Breakfast was so so, eggs were very salty! Coffee should be available all day but they only have it during breakfast hours, however, they will give you packets for your room but no creamer so I need to run over to Walmart to grab some!

This is a great hotel in a great location! We were here for a Twins Game, hosting clients. The staff is absolutely amazing, especially the front office manager Romar! He went above and beyond to help us and gave us an area where we could get client collateral together (we had to stuff 60 bags!) Housekeeping was so good, my room was exceptionally clean. Restaurant was good too. I highly recommend!

This was an excellent hotel. I've been looking for a good hotel for quite some time so I can travel to Minneapolis with my dog, and I have been disappointed by quite a few hotels. But not this one! This will be my go-to hotel now when I travel to Minneapolis. It was very clean and updated. Friendly staff at check in. Easy access to an area for my dog to use the bathroom. Will definitely be back.
