Hotel Dengan Bar di Cantabria, Spain

I find that the room design is a bit outdated. It was spacious and the terrace is a nice touch. The air conditioning wasn't working very well and it was hot in the room. The bathroom is clean and the water is hot and has good pressure. The breakfast is plentiful but the need to order the hot plates and it takes a while to come. I would suggest making them available on the hot trays. Another thing that was weird was the custom tongs each table had, then we had to use them to get the food. I would much rather have one tong on each tray so everyone uses them, I believe it's much more hygienic and practical.

Service was amazing, we were able to check in half an hour before. Outside swimming was open in april. The experience at the spa was amazing. Many different options i the main pool, 3 saunas and outside jacuzzi Food was delicious and great variety. We will definitely repeat!

A fantastic hotel in a fantastic location. The foyer to the hotel is large and inviting, the rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean and all of the staff were very helpful and friendly. It is just a 1 minute walk to the beach/sea front and there are lots of restaurants & bars very close by. The walk from the bay to the city centre is amazing along the beautifully clean and scenic promenade. All in all a VERY enjoyable stay. I will be back!!

Ein neueres Appartement ohne Küche und mit kostenpflichtigen Parkplätzen (10 Euro). Für spanische Verhältnisse vermutlich eine feine Gegend. Leider ist in der Nachbarschaft nichts los und schöne Blicke gab es auch nicht. Mir war das Ganze zu teuer, wenn ich den notwendigen Parkplatz einrechne. Es war bei wenigen Gästen ruhig. Ein Mikrowellenherd wäre hier sicher sinnvoll, damit man eine Kleinigkeit zubereiten kann.

5 звёзд в Сантандере,самый престижный отель,не такой модерновый,но если знать историю его создания,то будете возвращаться снова и снова. Строился для королевского двора,когда королевская семья приезжала во дворец Магдалена,что находится внизу у моря на полуостровке. С тех пор и является местом сбора всякой знати. Всё размеренно и степенно, публика с деньгами и в возрасте. Завтраки одни из лучших, особенно если накрывают на воздухе,но это как с погодой повезёт. Единственный минус это уставшая мебель,но по мне так и здесь есть свой шарм. Будет возможность,берите с видом на море (залив). Утром с восходом видом бесподобен. До центра 15 минут спуска через город,по морю 20-25 пешком. Парковка своя.

Insgesamt zufrieden. Die Aussicht war, nicht wie auf den Fotos zu sehen Richtung Hafen, sondern auf der anderen Seite zur Wohngegend, was aber bezüglich der Lautstärke sogar besser war. Das Frühstück könnte für ein 4 Sterne Hotel abwechslungsreicher sein. Sehr schade auch, dass es für Kaffee nur Nespresso Kapsel Maschinen gibt.

The hotel is clean and spotless. Spa thermal pool opens long hour from 8am to 10pm which is very convenient. Buffet dinner €18 per person is reasonable and food is good. Breakfast is average, lack of hot dishes. The cafe bar offers some Thai cuisine. They are yummy but very small portions. Me and my husband ordered 3 main courses but were still hungry. We wanted to order the 4th course ”Style Thai beef wok” with an additional bowl of rice and we'd pay for the rice. However the waitress refused simply because a bowl of rice is not on the menu! I suggest the hotel to remove the Style Thai beef wok from the menu if they're not able to provide a bowl of rice to go with it. This is authentic Thai style of eating! Very disappointed ! The cafe service need to improve, too rigid, not customer oriented.
