Hotel Dengan Bar di Gangwon State, South Korea

The hotel was superb, right on the beach and had spectacular views. The rooms were excellent with great facilities. The iPad in the room giving you up to date information was very useful. The staff were friendly and helpful. There were plenty of restaurant choices in the hotel. The evening buffet on the top floor was expensive so we didn’t eat there. 108,000 won per person. There were cheaper alternatives in the lobby. Unfortunately, you had to pay extra to use the infinity pool and gym so we didn’t do this. 35,000 won to use a pool seemed unfair and should be built into the price of the room. I would highly recommend anyone to stay there.

The facilities were good and the room structure was the same as the picture, which was nice. However, there are not many restaurants, convenience stores, or other facilities around, so it feels a bit isolated. If you want a quiet place, I recommend it. If you want a place with a lot to see and eat, I don't recommend it.

There was a bus stop right in front of the hotel, so it was convenient to go anywhere. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable.

The hotel has a perfect view of the ocean, is close to the KTX station, and everything is perfect. It's been a while since I had a staycation, and I had a great time. The breakfast was also delicious. The staff was very friendly.

My friends and I came to Intercontinental Alpensia because we got a really good deal and expected to experience snow right at the resort. The snow arrived a bit later than we hoped but honestly, we still had such a good time! The room was lovely, the weather was perfectly chilly (sometimes too cold.. so come prepared!) and we were lucky to catch real snow at Mount Balsangwan by taking the cable car at nearby resort (Mona Yongpyeong) We have to give a huge shout out to the in-room dining service; the Beef Risotto and Frutti di Mare Pasta were soooo good. Truly delicious! The whole area is so pretty and calm, especially with the Christmas vibe when we visited. Everything felt cozy and magical. We definitely plan to return! ❄️💙

Living in the Blue Tower Sky Suite was a great experience! We enjoyed a 4-day, 3-night stay with no delays during check-out. The suite is within a 5-minute walk to the ski house and about a 10-minute walk to the central plaza, where we could shop at the convenience store (open until midnight) and visit the game store to play with the kids. Our kids really loved both the day and night activities. However, driving in the snow required extra caution since the rental car had four-season tires but no chains. Overall, it was a wonderful and memorable trip!

At the check-in all are ok, but when we arrive at the door step of our room，realised the door was unlocked,l. Went in and found some chips bit and half consumed bottle unclear I'm the room. What frustratefevwas was we head back ABT 11pm after skiing then realised that they only provided us with 1bath towel , tried calling front desk not one pick , calling house keeping also no one pick up. Only got to kn the next day that hotel front desk is closed at 9pm. And not many can speak English this make it even more challenging.

Not recommended for family trips. If you're planning to use the pool with children or teenagers, I'd strongly advise against this hotel. What really baffled me was that the pool access fee wasn't included in the room rate. It's rare to find hotels with this kind of setup these days. The per-person pool charge is very expensive, and children are restricted from using it after 8 PM, which is a major inconvenience for families. We visited as a family, but everyone left feeling very disappointed. For instance, during our stay, on one particular day, the pool was only accessible from 3 PM, yet we were charged the full rate. Similarly, on our arrival day, we got there at 6 PM and only had two hours to use the pool, but still had to pay the full fee, with children being charged the same as adults. Even toothbrushes cost extra, and generally, the value for money was extremely poor. I felt that for a similar price, choosing another hotel would be a much better option. The only positive was that the cleanliness was good, perhaps because it hasn't been open for long.

The Sokcho Cassia Hotel, which we visited for our wedding anniversary trip, was located in Daepo Port, and we could see both the port and the sea from the veranda of the accommodation. It was on the 25th floor, and when we went in, there was a slight musty smell from the bathroom shower room, so we took off one star for cleanliness! The breakfast here was 66,000 won, which was expensive compared to other accommodations, so we had high expectations, but there weren't many options for the price. Weekends are divided into three parts, and you can choose on a first-come, first-served basis when you check in. I think the checkout time was 11:00, but we checked out right after 8:00 after the first part of the breakfast to avoid traffic.

Nice clean hotel across from a nice beach for surfing. I was initially disappointed to find the hotel was across a very busy road from the beach, but the hotel itself is quiet and the rooftop in the morning was a great way to take in the sunset. I might not book here again because of the busy road but the hotel is nice.
