Hotel Dengan Bar di Gros Islet, Saint Lucia

The hotel was in a great location, the pool was nice but closed often. I think they are working on the chemical levels or something. The food was good on the buffet but it was the exact same thing every day, so by day 6 we were ready for our next resort. The staff was great and they solved any issues we had. The walls are thin but as long as there aren't any large groups it should be fine. They also treated us with wine and decorated or room which was very nice!

L’hôtel est très bien situé, vous pouvez prendre le taxis et vous déplacer où vous voulez, il y a un MALL juste à côté ainsi qu’un KFC, néanmoins, nous sommes déçu du petit déjeuner, il n’est pas assez varié mais fait l’affaire quand même, et sachez que la chambre donne sur un espace partagé avec d’autres chambres. Les photos ne sont pas vraiment représentatives du standing attendu au vu du prix.

The booking said taxes and fees were included in the price. However, I was made to pay 43.20 ECD as a “government head tax” and they would not accept that this was included. The receptionist kept us waiting for no reason and had a very dismissive manner, eg not liking the official NHS vaccination proof because she thought it should be a card. Very rude. The hotel itself was good though, very clean and comfortable. If they had receptionists with a more customer friendly manner and made clear that taxes are not included I would have given a much better review.

Excellent stay no complaints. Although the booking and receipt said Bay Gardens Inn I was redirected to the hotel upon arrival.

Afterwards, the guest called me to confirm that it was all-inclusive, and went to the front desk of the hotel the next morning. During this period, I contacted Ctrip customer service. Ctrip customer service was very good. I immediately contacted the hotel for verification. The front desk read the English confirmation form and knew If it is all-inclusive, I changed my mind and said that the deposit is charged. If you are drunk, you can do whatever you say. Here comes the good show, when I went to eat for lunch, I was asked to pay again. After everyone went crazy, I went to the front desk again to give the all-inclusive meal bracelet to the guests. It's also a rare encounter in a thousand years.

The hotel suites are relatively large and have kitchen facilities including induction cookers and dishes, which can be used to heat and cook brunch. The hotel has yoga classes and quite a lot of people participate, but the gym is very small and can only accommodate one or two people, and it is usually dark without air conditioning. The hotel is in a good location, with a beach within a five-minute walk and the commercial district of Rondney Bay within a five-minute walk. It is convenient for eating and drinking, and there are many choices.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Royalton in Saint Lucia, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcomed and comfortable. Their warm hospitality made all the difference. The location was absolutely stunning—breathtaking views of the ocean, lush tropical surroundings, and the perfect balance of relaxation and adventure. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and impeccably clean, with a private swim up pool that provided the most incredible sunsets.
