We were troubled by neighbour who was at most rude, and always knocking on our wall for no apparent reason. He then came to our door wanting to create a fight and harassed my family. The room reception service person never listened to our side of the story and blamed us. Poor front desk team for this night. Even especially when we requested additional liquid soap, due to them not having any when checking in, as they ran out of stock. He argued with us asking stupid questions instead of helping. Rooms are paper thin.

Room was small but clean. Staff very helpful loved the bar area. Restaurant was closed due to a holiday but breakfast was impressive and loved having a free shuttle to the airport

The hotel is less than 10 minute walk from the airport.
To go to the city centre, you can go back to the airport to take the tram or bus (20 to 30 min to reach the centre).

The floor is quite old, the carpet will need a refresh.
Overall, It is fine to stay at this hotel for a night, especially to catch an early flight or if you arrive late.

I had a wonderful stay at DoubleTree by Hilton. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and very relaxing. The staff were friendly and welcoming from the moment I arrived,
The room was spacious, quiet, and well equipped, perfect for resting after a long day. Even though the hotel is slightly outside the city centre, it’s very easy to get around—Bus N4 stops nearby and takes you straight to the city centre, making transportation simple and convenient.
Overall, a great hotel with excellent service, good transport connections, and a peaceful atmosphere. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!
Sehr freundlicher Empfang an der Reception. Toller Service, uns wurden tolle Tipps zum Erkunden der Sehenswürdigkeiten in Luxemburg erteilt. Nach dem Einchecken wurde mir noch zum Geburtstag gratuliert, da der aufmerksame Mitarbeiter an der Reception, dies beim Einchecken bei der Passkontrolle gemerkt hat. Sehr liebenswürdig
The hotel offer was great in the aspect of price to value ratio, I really liked especially the trip. Com team they are really helpful and understanding I had a booking mistake and they helped me solve it easily. I have never experienced better customers service alway glad to be your customer.
Perfect stay, spacious rooms, great service. Very close to the city centre. Breakfast was also very good, not crazy amount of options but everything was fresh and tasty, service was awesome. For sure recommend to stay here

Very clean rooms, small but all you need for a night's stay in a city.
FFaridfI stayed at the DoubleTree Luxembourg with my 80-year-old father, who is unwell and was extremely tired after a long day of travelling. Unfortunately, the room we were given was right next to the elevator motors, and the noise kept both of us awake almost the entire night. My father finally managed to fall asleep around 7:00–7:30 AM after hours of discomfort.
However, at 8:00 AM, there was a knock on our door. I opened it half-asleep, and the staff member simply said “It’s ok” and walked away. I later saw the same person again in uniform, so clearly they were a member of the hotel team. I still cannot understand why they knocked at that time, and what exactly was “ok,” especially when it was obvious the room had severe noise issues and guests could still be resting.
I shared all of this with the reception team and politely asked to speak with the manager. Instead of a brief conversation or even a quick acknowledgment, I was handed a handwritten note with the manager’s email. After travelling with an elderly parent who was in pain and exhausted, I was genuinely hoping for a bit of understanding or empathy. Even a short apology would have meant a lot at that moment.
I should mention that breakfast was also quite basic and didn’t match the DoubleTree standard I’m familiar with, so overall the stay was unfortunately far below what I usually experience with Hilton properties.
I’m writing this not to complain for the sake of complaining, but because the situation placed my father—who is already unwell—under a lot of unnecessary stress. As a loyal Hilton Honors member, this experience was difficult for me, and I sincerely hope management can review what happened and decide on an appropriate way to make this right.
GGuest UserThis hotel is well placed in a quieter area and the free bus is available just outside the door. The staff were extremely friendly and the rooms were really clean. They serve a good buffet breakfast in a lovely small room. Overall we were very pleased with our stay.

DD9749****The room was really spacious, with a lovely small lawn outside the window that looked like a prairie. It was super convenient to take the free shuttle into town to explore. We stayed out until past 10 PM, then took three different buses back. Even though it was summer, I was practically freezing by the time we got back in the middle of the night.
One thing I definitely have to commend the hotel for: I accidentally left my car keys on the sofa by the entrance and only realized they were missing when I got back late. I rushed to the front desk, and even though the shift had changed, they thankfully found them in a drawer. Even more coincidentally, I met the family who found the keys right there at the front desk. Everyone was so kind, and I'm incredibly grateful. Losing them would have absolutely ruined our entire trip!
BBarry DoranI had a very nice time at the hotel. It was very practically located, right next to the airport terminal. The room was spacious, had a great view over the airfield, but also over a beautiful terrace garden, and the bed was very comfortable. I tried the restaurant on two different evenings and was very happy with the food and drink on both occasions. Air conditioning worked very well.
There were only some minor negative points - hand soap dispenser didn't work, and the shower gel wasn't filled during my 5-night stay
I especially appreciated the hotel's location on the morning of my departure - being able to wake up at 4.45am for a 6.15am flight was great! I would stay here again and highly recommend the hotel overall

SShiminTnvshiThe location is very good. I went out to play when I arrived at the hotel. I took a shower late at night and found hair in my bathrobe. It was too late and I was too tired to bother. I told the hotel front desk about this the next day. They were very nice and kept apologizing. I asked them to replace it with a new one because I had doubts about the hygiene of the entire hotel because of this hair. The front desk manager and others said they would compensate me for something. I said forget it and went out to play again.
When I returned to the hotel after playing for 5 hours, the room card was invalid! The front desk swiped the card again and went up to the room. I found that it was being cleaned. They were very nice and hoped that we could wait for 20 minutes. We went down to the lobby and waited for 20 minutes before going to the room. I found that the bathrobe with other people's hair was still there. They didn't replace it for me! ! ! I was speechless. I complained to Ctrip, and the result was that everyone from the cleaning staff to the manager came to my house. I kept insisting that it was a bathrobe, but everyone who handled it asked me if it was a towel. I was even more tired to deal with it. They directly told me not to come again and apologized. In addition to being very nice and saying sorry, from the front desk to the back-end, even the bathrobe and towel were not clearly communicated. This hotel should have been my good memories, it was so disappointing!

GGuest UserThe hotel was pretty good and clean. The hot cocoa from the coffee machine in the lobby was delicious, which was a real lifesaver for someone like me who doesn't drink coffee. The only downside was that the bathroom in my room wasn't great; after showering, the floor would flood because the drainage was poor, and there wasn't a mop nearby. This meant I had to walk through puddles every time I used the toilet afterward, which was really unpleasant. The hotel's location is a bit out of the way, but Luxembourg is small and public transport is free, so I guess it's acceptable.
MM25759****Located halfway between the airport and the city center, it's easily accessible via the T1 tram. The surrounding area feels like a newly developed CBD, dominated by high-rise buildings. There's a small shopping mall nearby, but it closes quite early, and a few restaurants. To get to the city, besides taking the bus, you can also enjoy a fun walk through the canyon and take an elevator up.
