It is more budget friendly hotel for families. It's basic, but adequate.
Reception is too big and void of furniture and decor.
I was given a corner room with door opening to the side away from corridor, though it made room smaller, but it was good as it prevented light spill underneath the door, and noise from noisey neighbors.
Only partial view of the sea, as very high rise condos infront of hotels took all the prime estate.
The shower is too near the glass panels and hot water doesn't work the maintenance guy have to come on 2 days to get it right. I hate the cold shower.
The AC is cold, newly renovated, but noisey.
TV channel is not the best, get to watch very old movies, like 60s.
Breakfast is Buffett style, not the 5 star hotel type, but still a good spread.
Didn't use the pool but it's fun for families.
Getting to the beach is thru lifts on the 7th floor, which brings you down to 1st floor to beach, but access is only from 8am to 8 pm. Signage is no good.
Wouldn't stay here again, though cheaper, but too basic, it's a watered down Holiday inn.
Secara keseluruhannya bagus sebenarnya sebelum itu saya ingin menempah satu lagi 22 hotel macalistersz george town tetapi pada akhirnya ia telah ditempah sepenuhnya jadi saya ternampak hotel yang berkaitan ini jadi saya hanya menempah hotel ini juga bangunan yang sama tetapi arasnya berbeza jadi ia adalah hotel pangsapuri yang bagus dan bersih cuma agak berbau lama tiada sesiapa yang menginap tetapi secara keseluruhannya bagus dan disyorkan dua katil bersaiz queen dalam satu bilik dan harganya juga berpatutan.
Dua keluarga telah menginap di bilik pemandangan laut dua bilik tidur. Biliknya sangat luas. Bilik katil bersaiz king menawarkan pemandangan laut 180 darjah yang sangat selesa. Manakala bilik katil berkembar pula, separuh menghadap jalan dan separuh lagi menghadap laut, masih boleh diterima.
Apa yang penting, anak-anak sangat gembira bermain air. Sepanjang tiga hari menginap, kami bangun lewat setiap hari dan terus berseronok di kolam renang.
Secara keseluruhan, kami sangat berpuas hati. Kami amat menyukai perkhidmatan persediaan tidur (turndown service) mereka. Setiap pagi, selepas bilik dibersihkan, kami akan kembali untuk tidur siang. Kemudian, kami keluar makan pada waktu petang, dan apabila pulang, bilik kami sudah dibersihkan sekali lagi. Perkhidmatan ini sangat teliti, prihatin dan memberikan keselesaan. 👍
Saya mempunyai pengalaman daftar masuk yang lancar semasa Tahun Baru Cina. Biliknya luas berbanding cawangan KL. Tempat letak kereta tidak menjadi masalah kerana hotel ini disambungkan ke Pusat Konvensyen SPICE, menawarkan banyak ruang. Terdapat juga jambatan penghubung yang mudah dalam jarak berjalan kaki ke pusat konvensyen. Pilihan sarapan pagi agak pelbagai, walaupun saya sendiri lebih suka pilihan di Amari KL. Secara keseluruhan, penginapan yang selesa dengan kebolehcapaian yang hebat!
Hotel itu hebat. Bermula dari resepsi, sambutan yang sangat mesra, diberikan bilik untuk berehat kerana kami tiba awal. Kami kemudian dapat menyemak beberapa jam lebih awal. Terima kasih. Bilik itu sangat moden dan termasuk semua kemudahan yang boleh anda fikirkan, walaupun hingga pilihan bantal.
Kolam renang itu hebat dan tarikan itu sendiri kerana kolam infiniti akan menjadi dasar kaca di tingkat 13.
Tempat letak kereta juga sangat futuristik dan sesuatu yang anda perlu lihat semasa lawatan anda. Tempat letak kereta semuanya automatik, anda memandu masuk, dan teknologi meletakkan kereta anda. Barangan tahap transformer Sone.
Lokasi sangat berpusat, beberapa minit dari seni George Town. Beberapa saat dari 4 pusat membeli-belah. Bertentangan ialah menara atas.

1. Parking Free tapi kena turun dulu scan kt lobby baru boleh keluar kereta
2. Parking luas senang nak akses ke lif dan terus ke bilik..
3. Sarapan yang sedap sampaikan ade yang tapau 🤣 cuma sambal nasi lemak boleh improve atau tukar resepi sbb ada rasa masam2 sbb hasben sy tukang masak so, dia cakap WAJIB ubah resepi 🤭 jangan letak gula putih banyak tukar gula melaka..confirm sedap..
4. Staff yang sangat friendly terutamanya di kaunter, cafe, waiter dan yang masak kat kaunter tu ( xkira permanent atau intern ) melayan je saya tanya mcm2..baguih ye..xlupa guard yg sentiasa wellcoming tlg buka pintu siap tunduk sebut tq all times..
5. Tiber rase menyesal check in lewat sbb tak puas stay. Check in jam 10 malam..kalau nak tau petang tu baru decide nak pegi jalan2 penang sbb risaukan jalan jem..
6. Bilik sangat luas..nak solat pun tak perlu menyempit..cuma xde sofa la..ade 1 je kerusi 😅
7. Kawasan hotel terletak area tg bungah bukan tepi pantai tapi boleh nampak laut tu..jalan sekeliling tu tak jem pun relax dan santai je.
8. Btw sebelah hotel ade lotus..so..korang takkan risau kalau tiber nk beli apa2 ke..

Secara umumnya, persekitaran hotel sangat baik Terdapat restoran Cina berdekatan, dan kakitangan hotel mempunyai sikap perkhidmatan yang sangat baik Walaupun mereka tidak dapat memahami bahasa Cina, mereka akan membantu mencari penterjemah untuk menyelesaikan pelbagai masalah. Bahagian perkhidmatan pelanggan juga sangat bersemangat Mereka akan bertanya setiap hari sama ada pembersihan dan penambahan air diperlukan. Pemandangan dari bar atas bumbung juga bagus pada waktu malam, dan angin semulajadi yang sangat selesa.

Tidak mengesahkan plat kereta saya dan semasa memandu keluar, saya dikenakan bayaran rm60+ untuk parking semalaman. ini telah diselesaikan dengan cepat tetapi menyusahkan, pintu masuk ke bilik dari tempat letak kereta adalah pelik dan tidak mesra orang kurang upaya.
Secara keseluruhan, saya berehat dengan baik di st giles wembley pada harga yang berpatutan. Menyertai keahlian dan menikmati secawan kopi di lobi. Saya mendapat bilik berhampiran lif, jadi terdapat bunyi di luar sehingga kalis bunyi tidak begitu baik. Tetapi berasa selamat dan bilik bersih terasa baik. 4 daripada 5 yang kukuh, mungkin lebih baik jika ia disertakan dengan sarapan pagi tanpa gangguan pada bayaran letak kereta.
The hotel is newly open this year, the design and cleanliness is at tip top condition. The service also good. But one of the thing that make me most disappointed is the hotel swimming pool closed for maintenance at this peak season. End up I need to find another place for my kid to play water. Not ideal for family who look for staycation. Breakfast choices quite limited for the price at ~rm68 per Pax. Overall, this hotel cleanliness,design, service and location is good.
Stayed at Hotel Mokozoyo recently and had a really pleasant experience overall.
I requested a quiet room after reading about potential noise from the main road and surrounding areas, and I’m glad that was accommodated — it made the stay much more comfortable.
The room itself has a nice, well-organised layout with a clean and modern feel. The hotel’s design really stands out, especially the stylish raw-concrete aesthetic, which gives it a minimalist yet very polished vibe. Cleanliness throughout the property was also excellent.
What makes it even better is the location — being right in the heart of George Town means unbeatable walkability to local food streets, cafés, and major attractions, which made exploring extremely convenient.
Overall, a well-designed boutique stay with great location, solid comfort, and thoughtful room arrangements.

GGuest UserThe check-in process took an excessively long time, with waiting times exceeding one hour due to the large crowd. The hotel management should consider improving the check-in procedure to ensure guests do not have to wait for such an extended period.
In addition, the check-out time of 11:00 a.m. is quite early, and the hotel was unable to provide any flexibility for a slightly later check-out, despite guests having to endure a lengthy wait during check-in.
Furthermore, we found a rove beetle (commonly known as “Charlie ant”) in our hotel room, which raised concerns regarding room cleanliness and guest comfort.
Overall, we hope the hotel will take these matters into consideration and make improvements to enhance the guest experience.
JJoetan39We stayed in Ansgana wing one bedroom suite. It's born with a magnificent Seaview but unfortunately obscured by the hotel layout like the balcony concrete egde at living room and the missing of curtain binder to gain 5-10% of Seaview. The sofa and TV are setup by the window side both at the living room and bed room but during day time the sunshine is so strong that you have to draw the curtain if you want to watch TV but at the same time your completely lose the view. The breakfast buffet offered were standard and I have no comment but the only obervation is the crows are the only diehard fans of the hotel food as they tried their best effort to grab the food from the table even in front of the guests! The only element that made our stay a good one is the hotel staff. Starting from Cika who handled our check in, our room attendant Masum, the big and tall guy at the buffet restaurant and also the lady who took care of our check out. All of them were efficient and effectively attending and responding to guests needs and tried their best effort to help us during our stay and kindly send my compliment to them especially Masum. Thank you Masum you deserves to be praised. Well done! Ansgana management in reading it's your team that saved your position that still got a 5 points except the food! In conclusion Ansgana tried to pack herself as a resort but quite unsuccessful as after check out we headed to Shangri-La Rasa Sayang and you will experience the layback and relax feel in a resort!
AAnonymous UserIf you want convenience to good food such as Burung Hantu Nasi Lemak or Chowrasta Market for wonderful local food, then you should stay at St Giles.
The room was airy and clean. Pillows were great as we slept well. The only flaw was the mini fridge wasn’t clean but generally a good stay for four days. Staff was also helpful and we also loaned an umbrella from the concierge. Free parking for those who intend to drive.

1. Hotel Locaiton: Perfect as its not in the city and by the beach, amazing for relaxation. Hotel is surrounded by souvenir shops and street food. 10miute walk from Ferringhi Walk where there is a nice selection of street food but my favourite of all is that its just a 2 minute walk from my favorite restaurant in Malaysia, Ferringhi Garden. Penang trip isnt complete without going to Ferringhi Garden. Its an amazing restaurant with the most beautiful collection of plants, there is no other place like it in Malaysia.
2. The Hotel: Nothing bad to say about it. The design, the decor, everything about this hotel makes me want to stay there even longer. Its such a nice feeling being there. Facilities are clean and complete.
3. The Room: CLEAN. NICE. SPACIOUS. BEAUTIFUL. Every inch of the room is to my liking, i could not have asked for more. Mattress is thick and oh so comfortable. Aircond was cold. Room was very spacious.
4.The Buffet: The room came with breakfast for 2 and it was the perfect buffet to start each day with. Selection was incredible even better than a lot of buffet Ramadan Ive been to. They had everything from selections of breads, to nasi lemak with 12 different sambals, 5 different meat dishes to eat it with, assorted fruits, assorted cheeses, 2 types of porridge with the FULL suites of condiments, salads, pastries, roti canai with all the curries you will ever need, to your above average selection of continental breakfast menus like, beef bacon, beef and chicken sausages, hash browns, deli meats, smoked fish. And there is more! there is a made-to-order menu which many patrons are not aware of. I tried the minute steak and it was good!(pictured below)
PS: Hakimi from breakfast service was spectacular, I requested strawberries for my picky 2 year old and he delivered. On the other hand, ANIS FROM THE OMELETTE STATION WAS RUDE TO MY WIFE, SHE NEEDS TO IMPROVE HER SOCIAL SKILLS(this is my one and only complain)
Overall my stay was 10/10 and this will be the ONLY hotel i will be staying at if when im at Batu Ferringhi. I plan to go to Park Royal Batu Ferringhi Annually, its just that good!
AAnonymous UserEnjoyable, as i am travelling for work, very near to my workplace, easy to check in, as well as given complimentary drinks throughout the stay. Except that, the housekeeper doesnt replace or give any new toothbrush for us on the second day, maybethe hotel can improve on that, overall nice staycation.
JJoetan39There is no sufficient space for guests drop off and pick up and for if there are two to three cars the area before hotel will be messed up and stuck together! The enclosed captured screen from goggle map is self explanatory !
Every morning commencing 8:00 am to 09:00am there will be large trolleys outside the rooms and on upper floors transferring towels and other amenities around and the sound like you are sitting by the railway while the trains are crossing which was rather annoying. You will hear staff talking or chatting together and the metallic service door slamming during that period.
Most interesting is every day the housekeeping has left souvenirs to us. The first day was a toilet brush and the second day was a cigarette lighter.
Last but not the least when we approached the concierge to get the luggages while the car was waiting just outside the hotel main door the bell boy asked my wife to move the luggages by herself and the distance was only 3 meters away!

The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The location was convenient, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming. MMaira176First of all, thanks to the receptionist, concierge, and housekeepers for attending to me during check-in also related staff for being polite. However, I would like to highlight an issue regarding whether it was Trip.com or Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts management that listed rooms not actually available to customers, despite costing thousands and above for one night. Because of this, I had to go back and forth changing rooms.
Additionally, the room itself was different from what was shown; it only had a jacuzzi and a fairly good seaview. Luckily, I only booked one night to see how it was, since the ratings were high. If not for the staff treating me well, I might have given a lower rating than this.
Please ensure that the rooms you advertise are accurate, especially since there is no refund and full payment is required. For improvement, please also address the issue of flies and insects while dining at the restaurants and bar. A five-star resort should be better than any stall.
GGuest UserI had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was beautiful, clean, well-maintained, and aesthetically designed. The sea view was stunning, and the pool was excellent, making the overall experience even more enjoyable.
The customer service was outstanding. The receptionists were friendly, welcoming, and made the check-in process smooth and hassle-free. I was also pleasantly surprised by the complimentary drinks for two and the one-hour late check-out extension, which was greatly appreciated.
The only area for improvement would be the breakfast selection, as there were not many choices available. However, the food was still delicious and satisfying.
Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
AAnonymous UserI did a lot of research before deciding on Hotel Sentral Seaview by the Beach.
Most reviews weren’t favorable however I was willing to take a risk considering my last hotel was horrible.
Overall, I was surprised and it has exceeded my expectations. Having said that my expectations were pretty low!
Positives:
- Rooms were clean. The hardware of the hotel has undergone some major wear and tear. However, the hotel and room has undergone a fresh coat of paint. There is a faint smell of paint, but that for me wasn’t a negative.
- Initially in my room was facing the hotel next-door. On the same level I could see the security guards and the neighbor hotel walk back-and-forth. As a female guest, this made me feel super uncomfortable. I went downstairs and requested a room change. The response from the front desk was “Just close your curtains.” In the end I was changed to another room on the other side of the hotel facing the ocean.
- The view! Wow. Seeing and hearing the waves from the beach.. all the stress falls away! Because I was given this room, I made the decision to rebook another 2 nights at the hotel!
- Wi-Fi was strong.
- Hardly anyone using the pool, which made it really peaceful and quiet. Water is cool and clean. On the first day I was there the hotel were doing maintenance and cleaning of the pool area.
- The beach is quiet (not many people)
- and quite clean.
- Right in front of the hotel, few footsteps away is a huge food court with lots of variety of food. It’s fantastic. 10 min walk is Lotus Mall.
- There is a bus stop outside. Take 101 to go to Batu Ferringhi Beach.
- 200 m from the hotel is the Oceano Symphony cafe. Good food and drinks.
- Breakfast - was basic but ok.
- Staff are friendly and helpful!
Overall, the positives outweighed the negatives. I can understand that this hotel may not be the standard of a lot of international guests. But for peace, little crowds and sounds of the waves, in a quiet spot on the Penang island it’s been great.
