A lil bit annoying from the toilet. Making sound like someone knocking, from the pipeline. My kids feel a lil bit terrified from that sound. Is that a common sound there? But overall, its a very satisfying accomodation. my kids enjoy with the pool. Charlie, I came across one or two Charlie ants in the toilet and sauna room.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had a wonderful family stay at Lone Pine! We absolutely loved the vibe here — peaceful, relaxing and beautifully surrounded by nature. It really suited us and was exactly the kind of getaway we enjoy. The breakfast was also one of our highlights — so good and we really enjoyed the variety! ❤️ The staff were warm, friendly and attentive throughout our stay, which made the experience even more special. And a funny little note… my teenage daughter loved Lone Pine so much that she has already started planning her wedding here! 😅😂 I guess that says a lot about how much she enjoyed the place! Definitely a memorable stay and we would love to come back again. Highly recommended! 🌿✨

Had a really pleasant stay at Angsana Teluk Bahang! 🌴 The check-in process was a little slow, but the staff were very professional, helpful and friendly throughout our stay. The amenities and facilities are really top-notch — there’s so much to do! They have a game area, kids’ playroom, kids’ pool, infinity pool and even a private beach. They also have a fire show on weekends, which was a nice touch. The resort has a very calm and relaxing atmosphere with beautiful views. Our room was very clean, and the housekeeping service was fast and efficient. Breakfast was one of the highlights — lots of choices, including a kids’ corner with kid-friendly menu options. We had breakfast twice and the menu was different on both days, so there was plenty of variety. Some dishes were a little salty for my taste, but overall the breakfast was really good. And the teh tarik + pastries was especially delicious! ☕️ Overall, a great place for a relaxing family/ couple getaway. Would definitely consider coming back! ❤️

Hotel average. Not satisfied with the difference in check in counter&the deposit is quite high for average hotel. Receipts for deposit provided only by request. The pressure for toilet bidet is too slow. Room is clean & spacious however the pillow is too light&causing a headache in the morning. Charge for parking is too high & unacceptable for guest shoud be waive.

We booked PARKROYAL Penang through Trip.com for our little daughter’s 4th birthday, and we honestly had a wonderful stay. I wasn’t sure if booking through Trip.com would make any difference in terms of service, but the hotel completely exceeded our expectations. The staff were friendly, warm and helpful throughout our stay. The highlight for us was the little birthday surprise for our daughter. 🎂❤️ The hotel prepared a lovely birthday cake for her, which was such a sweet gesture and really made her day. It may seem like a small thing, but for us as parents, it made the trip extra special. The hotel is also very family-friendly. The beach is right there, the swimming pools and kids’ facilities kept our daughter entertained, and there are restaurants and convenience stores nearby, so it was quite convenient. The location is slightly away from the busier parts of Penang, but personally I liked that. It gave us a more relaxed holiday atmosphere, which was exactly what we wanted for a family trip. Most importantly, the service really stood out. Everyone we met was genuinely welcoming and attentive, and we felt well taken care of from check-in until check-out. Thank you to the PARKROYAL Penang team for making our daughter’s 4th birthday trip a memorable one. ❤️ Definitely a hotel we would consider coming back to, especially for another family holiday in Penang.

We had a great stay here! The bed was so comfy, and I really appreciated the extra pillows. Slept like a baby until morning! The room was surprisingly spacious, which was perfect for our tamily and all our luggage. There was plenty of space to repack our bags and even perform prayers comfortably. I also loved the modern interior and the warm lighting in the room. The hotel also provides two complimentary drinks, and you can choose between orange juice, coffee, or tea. The ambience was lovely, and we really enjoyed the swimming pool. Free parking for hotel guests is definitely a bonus.

Location was good cos we were intending for something closer towards the northwest side of the island for the water themepark, yet at the same time not too far from the iconic George Town area. Breakfast spread was ok, but located in the main lobby which is a separate building from the rooms so quite a distance. Similarly if you're thinking of ordering grab food delivery you will have to walk out to the main drop off area.

My stay at Fraser Residence Kuala Lumpur exceeded my expectations!🥳 I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Penang.✅ The hotel is brand new🏗️, so the facilities are pristine. The room layout is well-designed🛋️, and the cleanliness of all areas is meticulous🧼, making for a clean and comfortable stay. Its location is the biggest advantage📍. Situated in the heart of George Town, it's within walking distance of the old town, Chew Jetty, and other popular city attractions🖼️. It's incredibly convenient for exploring historical sites and finding street art. Right downstairs, there's the 1st Avenue mall🛍️, making shopping, dining, and getting supplies super easy🍢. The convenience is top-notch💯. I particularly want to highlight the swimming pool on the 6th floor🏊‍♂️. It's a saltwater pool🌊 with clear and clean water, offering a fantastic swimming experience. Overall, it's conveniently located with excellent amenities🚗, making it perfect for both leisure sightseeing and short trips🌟.

After staying at Shangri-La Rasa Sayang Penang, my biggest takeaway is this: It’s not the kind of hotel that impresses you because everything feels brand new. What makes it special is the relaxing resort atmosphere. The greenery is beautiful, the grounds feel peaceful, and you can easily spend the whole day just enjoying the pool, garden and beach area without rushing anywhere. The rooms have a more classic style rather than a very modern luxury look, but they’re comfortable and well maintained. Personally, I think this hotel is best for people who want a proper staycation and a slower holiday. If budget allows, I’d choose the Rasa Wing for the quieter atmosphere and more exclusive experience. My overall feeling: Rasa Sayang may not be the newest hotel in Penang, but it still has that timeless 5-star resort feel.

Breathtaking rooftop pool & the smartest stopover before the train to KL! I chose Crowne Plaza Penang Straits City mainly for its rooftop infinity pool, and it was 100% worth it! We stayed for one night as a stopover after taking the ferry from Penang Island, right before catching the morning train to Kuala Lumpur. Highlights & Pros: - The Rooftop Infinity Pool: Absolutely magical! Spotless, with great loungers, changing rooms, and showers. We spent all our downtime here. - Must-book Room View: Make sure to choose a Penang Strait view. The scenery of the water, port, and mosque is stunning. Avoid the city view—it looks quite industrial and desolate (you can easily see that side from the 8th-floor restaurant anyway). - Restaurant & Amenities: Dinner at the 8th-floor restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. The hotel is spotless, modern, and provides everything you need. Downstairs, there’s a 24/7 7-Eleven and Zus Coffee. - Train Travel Hack: Staying here next to Butterworth Railway Station is brilliant. Taking the train directly into KL Sentral saved us the hassle of an airport transfer from 70 km away. Things to keep in mind: - Surroundings & Walking: The hotel is somewhat isolated and the immediate area isn't very pedestrian-friendly. Attractions like the Butterworth Art Walk are technically close, but walking requires crossing busy roads without pedestrian crossings. - Tip: Just take a Grab taxi! For only ~MYR 10, we took a cab to the magnificent Tow Boo Kong Temple on Jalan Raja Uda—highly recommended! Verdict: A stylish, modern hotel with world-class pool views and an unbeatable location for train travelers. Highly recommended!
