What an incredible stay! We absolutely loved EVERYTHING about Zuri. Starting from the staff - everybody was super nice, helpful and smiley. They even had a thermometer for us to buy when we needed one! The transport was waiting for us at the airport (paid 300php/person one way). The room and bathroom was really spacious and spotless. There’s plenty of space for the clothes and stuff in the bathroom. The room also has a fridge, kettle with coffee/tea choices as well as bathroom alimentaries. The resort area is amazing. The resort is places by the hill a bit away from the town, facing the sea and Coron island. It has 3 pools + 1 kiddie pool, a pool bar, cafe, restaurant, shop, ATM and more. It’s surrounded by greens. You can truly rest there. The breakfasts there were exceptional! Lots of choice, different food both western and Asian. There was also barbecue in the evenings, very tasty as well. We loved it! The only minor downsides: - you can’t really control the AC, there’s no remote, you can have it set to fan or cool and set the power 1-10 - there is no reception in the room - there are not many power outlets in the room

While hotel horror stories of rude staff and poor hygiene are all too common, my experience here was the exact opposite—a masterclass in integrity. I stayed for two days before heading to El Nido. While en route to my next destination, I received a call from the receptionist informing me that I’d left an envelope of cash in the room vault. She assured me it would be sealed and kept safe until my return. Upon my arrival back, the envelope was returned to me exactly as left. I had the pleasure of meeting Jessa Olam, whose honesty and professionalism truly saved my trip. To top it off, the hotel kindly provided a complimentary airport transfer as a final gesture of hospitality. As for the stay, the rooms were spotlessly clean with excellent water pressure in the showers. There was a lovely pool area perfect for a quick dip and relaxing with drinks from the on-site restaurant. The location of the hotel is incredibly convenient—just 2 minutes from the airport and 4 minutes from the local dining and nightlife hub. I will definitely be staying here again!

We had a wonderful 3-night stay at Hue Hotels and Resorts Puerto Princesa, and it truly exceeded our expectations. The hotel features a modern and stylish design that creates a very welcoming atmosphere from the moment you arrive. Our room was excellent - clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable. The bunk beds were a fantastic addition, especially for families, and the main bed was super comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. One of the biggest advantages of this hotel is its location. There are plenty of food options nearby, and the famous Robinsons Shopping Mall is just next door, making everything very convenient. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of choices, and the rooftop pool was absolutely amazing - perfect for relaxing after a long day. The child playroom and gym facilities were also well-equipped and enjoyable. We also tried the in-house massage spa, which was a very relaxing and satisfying experience.

Checking in to the Funny Lion in PPS after a week of touring Palawan felt like coming home and being able to finally relax. After seeing how beautiful the hotel is, we cancelled all the activities planned in the area and just focused on recovery and relaxation. The amenities are top-notch and the guests are isolated from the hot & dusty hussle and chaos. It was GREAT. Only wish we had a couple of extra days to enjoy it.

Our last four nights in paradise the swim up room was amazing we used that pool for a lot of hours nice to have our own deck and access. We ate all our meals here breakfast was included and was good the options were lacking a bit but we found enough to eat! Dinner we ate here because we were lazy and didn’t want to go out! The food was good not great but good not always the same the next day was strange! The beach was great the tides gos out for miles so there is lots to walk! The massage place was great she worked all my kinks out. But I would not recommend the nail salon was very basic not much to choose from for Color and she was late then when she did arrive had to go home for tools she forget! The hotel staff were all very helpful! The pool bar was nice and Mark made some fancy drinks!

First of all i would like to say thank you to all the staff in Carpe diem especially to Donald! ;) the guy at the reception i really appreciate the helpfulness, and also the treatment he gave us it was a delightful experienced i worked in a service industry too and this is really important to have those excellent service in order to sustain the business, whoever is the owner of this hotel please do appreciate the hard-work of Donald im really glad of what he did for us during our stay, the staff are well trained, and overall the room is huge, and clean the amenities are great:) Thank you Carpe diem! For those who checked a high quality type of service and good place to stay please choose carpe diem by the way the food is great they have a big serving its all fantastic but the most highlight of my stay is the service of Donald;) please send my regards to him M

”Twenty-one days in the Philippines, five different hotels. H Hotel is the best one. No debate. That’s it. First morning, still half asleep, stepped out onto the balcony and the bay was just right there. Neither of us wanted to leave. The staff remember things. Not in a trained way. They actually remember what you said yesterday and bring it up today. That’s different. For breakfast, sharing one portion between two people is more than enough. You can add a smoothie or a coffee alongside it. After days of heavy food, an easy plant-based breakfast is exactly what you want in the morning. It felt like a reset. The room is clean and comfortable. We spent time in the hanging chair, we didn’t want to get out of bed, the TV is big and the picture quality is good. We genuinely had to push ourselves to go outside. Piece of Sky at night: good cocktails, the bay lit up below, live saxophone. I don’t know where else in El Nido you get all of that at once. That’s the stay. Worth it.”

The hotel offers excellent value for its price. The room was spacious and equipped with all the essentials — a working hot and cold shower, mini fridge, and TV. Breakfast was decent for the price — simple but satisfying. The staff were very warm and welcoming, which made our stay even more pleasant. Location-wise, it’s perfect. We came for the dragon boat race, and the baywalk was just a short walk away. The hotel is also conveniently close to the mall, market, and fast food restaurants, making it an ideal choice for travelers. Public transportation such as jeepneys and tricycles are easily accessible. They also offer affordable city tour packages, which is a great bonus.

An absolute paradise for families! We had an amazing stay at Astoria Palawan. The highlight for the kids (and adults!) was definitely the Palawan Waterpark, which kept everyone entertained for hours. The resort grounds are beautifully maintained, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the beach view is stunning. Special shoutout to the staff who were incredibly accommodating and always greeted us with warm smiles. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Puerto Princesa!

From check-in to check-out, the staff provided excellent customer service — always warm, attentive, and eager to help with a smile. They truly made me feel welcome and valued throughout my stay. The room was immaculate, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. The bed was soft and cozy, the linens fresh, and everything—from the bathroom to the minibar—was spotless. I also appreciated how quiet and relaxing the atmosphere was, perfect for unwinding after exploring the beautiful sights of Palawan. One of the highlights of my stay was the morning breakfast buffet. It offered a great variety of local and international dishes, all freshly prepared and delicious. From tropical fruits and made-to-order eggs to Filipino favorites and good coffee, it was the perfect way to start each day. The dining staff were equally wonderful—friendly, efficient, and attentive. Considering the high level of comfort, cleanliness, and service, the affordability of this hotel is truly impressive.
