Hotel Dengan Bar di Madeira, Portugal

O Hotel fica mesmo perto da praia, o nosso quarto era muito simpático, com varanda e tudo. Aparentava estar tudo limpo e arrumado. Gostamos muito, recomendamos e vamos voltar.

Room is spacious with balcony. Outside the hotel, there are public buses going to Funchal center. It's also located in the shopping area with restaurants and supermarkets. You can sit at rooftop to have a sea view. Breakfast buffet is good. Airport is less than half hour on taxi.

Wonderful experience and the best hotel during our stay in Madeira. Perfect price and value proposition with a staff who are really customers oriented and friendly. Smaller hotel what is never overcrowded. Nice charming design elements. Very good breakfast with selection of local cheeses and meat. Real juice would be the only needed improvement and some pastel de Nata for the breakfast would add to the mandatory Portuguese experience. Otherwise 100% perfect stay. Excellent swimming pool with sea water. Yes. The rooms are somewhat dated but super clean and comfortable. I didn't came here to see golden chandeliers so l was super satistied! Excellent location and direct sea access. What more could one look for??

This was a very decent and affordable hotel — nothing fancy or luxurious, but it covers the basics quite well. It’s clean, efficient, and does the job for travelers looking for a simple place to stay. One of the best surprises was that if you’re lucky enough to get a room with ocean views, it really adds a lot of value to the overall experience. That said, there were some clear drawbacks. The room itself felt extremely tight, especially for two people with a couple of suitcases. There was very limited space to move around, which made things feel a bit cramped and uncomfortable. The bathroom was also quite small, and while functional, it lacked the comfort you’d hope for in a multi-day stay. One highlight was the balcony. Though the interior space was tight, the room had a good-sized balcony where we enjoyed golden hour and sunset views — that part was genuinely lovely and added a sense of openness and relaxation we didn’t get inside the room. The most significant downside for me was the parking situation. The hotel only has three official parking spots, which are always full. Given the area is busy and surrounded by in-demand places like grocery stores, cafés, restaurants, and a laundromat, street parking is very limited and expensive. I had to park at a nearby garage, which cost 10 euros overnight. As for the rooftop, the amenities there weren’t particularly impressive — nothing that would stand out compared to more upscale hotels. But once again, the ocean and sunset views from the rooftop are stunning and give you a brief illusion of being at a five-star resort. All in all, this hotel offers good value for money, especially if you’re not planning to spend too much time in the room. It’s a solid base for exploring the area, as long as you’re okay with a few compromises in comfort and convenience.

I had an exceptional stay at Hotel Torre Praia. The staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming. The food was delightful, offering a wide range of delicious options that I thoroughly enjoyed. The hotel was exactly as depicted in the photos, conveniently located right by the beach in a stunningly picturesque area. My room was spotless and was refreshed every day, adding to the overall comfort of my experience.

Cool Ronaldo/football themed hotel. Staff were excellent, rooms - modern and quiet. The hotel is about 15-20 mins walk to the city life. You get a free ticket to CR7 museum with your stay (worth €5).

O Porto Santo Hotel & Spa é uma escolha excelente para quem procura descanso e tranquilidade. Apesar de ser um hotel modesto, é extremamente confortável e acolhedor. Destaco especialmente a simpatia e disponibilidade do staff, que torna a experiência ainda mais agradável. E o bar de praia? Simplesmente espetacular — perfeito para aproveitar o pôr do sol com uma bebida na mão. Recomendo!

У отеля удобное расположение в старом городе. Да, это не на побережье, но в этом есть свое удобство. До набережной минут 7 ходьбы. Завтраки отличные, много фруктов (папайя, бананы, ананас и т.д.). В честь Дня рождения порадовали бутылкой игристого.

Large room and bathroom, nice balcony. Lovely garden and pool area. I was out of season, so it was good value for money. The hotel is dated, so in need of a fresh paint, but it was very clean and comfortable.

Hotel localizado dentro do Centro Comercial Plaza Madeira. Difícil achar pois a entrada é pelo Shopping (?) ou pela garagem privada em baixo do shopping. Pouca informação e difícil de entender como chegar a recepção pela garagem. Até o Waze se embaralhou para achar o hotel. Sobimos 2 ascensores e entramos em porta com campainha, corredor estrito e depois um terraço a descoberto. Daí uma  porta de vidro pesada para acessar pelo lounge de eventos. Piso todo de cascalho (pedra) com rolamento difícil das malas com rodas. Apesar da maratona (jogo escape) o hotel é boutique como visual bonito e com uma café da manhã de um 5 estrelas. Se melhorassem a chegada para recepcionar os clientes como é costume nos Hotéis 5 estrela ficaria um Luxo só. o aquecimento da piscina no  Terrace seria uma mais valia. Quartos limpos e minibar ”on demand”. Gostamos até do robô que recolhe os pratos e utensílios do café.
