The hotel front desk service is warm and thoughtful; the location is superior and the transportation is convenient! I stay in this hotel every time I come! The hotel is relatively clean, tidy, sanitary and comfortable! The breakfast is also rich! Not bad👍

It was a great experience. The stay was excellent, though the dining was just so-so. We stayed in a mountain view room, but unfortunately, it was shrouded in mist and clouds when we arrived, so we couldn't see anything. It felt like such a waste of a good room. Inside the room, the toilet was smart with a heated seat, which was very comfortable. There was also a foot bath, perfect for soaking our tired feet after a long day. Breakfast and dinner were part of the hotel package, and honestly, they were quite mediocre. However, on our second day, when we went to explore Bright Summit, we saw porters carrying vegetables and other supplies up the mountain as early as 5 AM. That really put the food into perspective, and it suddenly tasted much better! The biggest highlight of Baiyun Hotel, for me, was definitely the excellent service. They provided information on sunrise times, offered free trials of massage chairs, and even had Huangmei Opera performances.

Rooms here are really popular! I hesitated because the prices were so high, and then the B-wing rooms were all gone, so I quickly booked a room in the A-wing. Turns out, the A-wing is more expensive for a reason! The breakfast area and even the B-wing itself are completely different the next day! The A-wing is in the same building as the front desk, and the rooms are fantastic. There were even four pairs of slippers inside! Saved me the trouble of having to go to the front desk to ask for slippers for the kids! When I checked in, I asked about adding breakfast, and they actually gave complimentary breakfast to my family, including the kids! Huge thanks to the front desk lady, Xiao Jiang! She even added me on WeChat and sent me the sunrise and sunset times (even though we ended up missing them). Though the room was a bit small, the layout was great, and it even had a window sill! It would be even better if there was a bay window cushion on it~ haha. The room also had two down jackets for guests to wear when going to see the sunrise – that's incredibly thoughtful! Compared to the B-wing where I stayed 7 years ago, I'd say, if you don't mind the extra 200, the A-wing is much better! Oh, and they also gave us a complimentary souvenir! Not sure if that's a special perk just for Chinese New Year.

Extremely satisfied! The room was very spacious, perfect for friends to gather for tea and chats. Being on the 45th-55th floor, we had a fantastic night view. The room also included Executive Lounge access and breakfast, both of which were excellent and plentiful. A special shout-out to Joanna and the butler service; they were incredibly responsive to every request. We ordered a lot of takeout during our two-night stay, and the concierge staff went above and beyond to repeatedly help us retrieve it – truly amazing! As out-of-town visitors, this experience definitely added to our positive impression of Hefei.

My stay at InterContinental Hefei truly exceeded my expectations, and I just have to give it a glowing review! Full marks, highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ✅ The huge floor-to-ceiling windows offer direct views of Swan Lake. The lake view during the day is expansive, and the night view is dazzling, making for an incredible visual experience! ✅ The suite is spacious and comfortable, with a well-designed layout. The bedding is cozy, and the bathroom facilities are complete. The attention to detail and quality are top-notch, making it feel very much like home! The living room and bedroom are clearly separated, providing excellent privacy. It's perfect for enjoying the view, relaxing, or working. ✅ The service was efficient and warm. From check-in to room service, responses were prompt and the staff were friendly, making me feel truly valued. The food tasted great and was consistently high quality. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, balancing both taste and experience. Overall, my stay was comfortable, relaxing, and of high quality – absolutely impeccable. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hefei, and I will definitely stay here again next time!

The service is OK and handled in a timely manner. Let's focus on breakfast! Two days include breakfast. There is a conflict between the children's breakfast fare when checking in on the day and the actual payment on the second day. The staff explained that it was the difference between booking on the day and booking in advance. The fruit in the restaurant is on the edge. The fruit on the first and second days is exactly the same, but the watermelon on the second day is sour (could it be left over from the previous day?). Also, during the meal, I saw an elementary school student picking up food with his bare hands in the snack area and putting it back, repeatedly. This is not good... This is a bit... The taste is salty, suitable for friends with heavy tastes. Overall, the experience is average. Thanks to the concierge yuanyuan in the lobby on the first floor today (the badge is too small to see what is written, only the pronunciation of the introduction)

From the moment I arrived, the customer service at the Shangri-La Hotel in Hefei was impeccable, with staff anticipating every need. My room was a sanctuary of cleanliness, where every surface gleamed and the linens were freshly pressed. The attention to detail extended to the immaculate pool and wellness area, which provided a truly luxurious escape. This hotel masterfully combines warm hospitality, an unbeatable setting, and flawless upkeep for an unforgettable stay. Western breakfast buffet and their buffet dinner was dangerously delicious 🤗. From the outside, it looks like a regular traditional hotel. The room is neither big nor small, and there is no sofa, but it is enough for one person. The service attitude is good. Soon after arriving at the room, milk and biscuits were delivered. Although they were from the end of 2023, they were still within the shelf life. I was watching TV at night and there was a sudden power outage. After calling the front desk, the power came back after a while. I wonder if the front desk set the room card incorrectly? Or is there something wrong with the room card insertion facility? There is no weak current socket, so the mobile phone and power bank cannot be charged at the same time. The breakfast is good. Although there are not many meat dishes, the staple food is rich and colorful.

Let's start with the positives. The lobby decor was really cozy, which was a pleasant surprise considering we were on top of Huangshan, a place not easily accessible. We booked a deluxe king room, and while it was small, it had everything we needed, especially the leg massager. After hiking, being able to relax my muscles right in the room was fantastic, and I think it might be why my legs weren't as sore the next day as I expected. They offer butler service too; after getting our room key, someone guided us to our room, which was very helpful. The hotel had plenty of activities, including dedicated staff to take us to watch the sunrise and sunset, and evening entertainment. The lobby tea room had a nice ambiance, perfect for unwinding with a cup of tea or a book, and Ctrip even provided complimentary drinks. Overall, for a hotel on top of Huangshan, the facilities were good enough to ensure a comfortable stay. Now for the negatives. Some hotel staff members seemed to lack basic etiquette training; they didn't even offer a simple greeting when we encountered them in the hallways or elevators. The biggest issue, however, was the buffet. Both breakfast and dinner were chaotic. Being Chinese New Year, the hotel was packed, and the restaurant was relatively small, leading to overcrowding and food running out. The placemats on the tables weren't changed between guests and looked quite dirty. I even saw a staff member brush small food crumbs directly from the table onto the floor. While I understand that a large number of guests and insufficient staff can be challenging, the chaotic management is a hotel management problem. They could easily learn from international hotels and implement a reservation system, allowing guests to dine at different times. This would not only help hotel management but also improve the dining experience for guests. I can see the hotel is trying to improve its service, but there's still a lot of room for improvement.
