I really liked my stay there. I do think it may be harder for foreigners to stay here compared to possibly other options as most workers do not speak English. I found it quite hard to communicate. However, I do recommend it and I personally would stay again. Especially as we overcame the challenges of communication and I was easily able to work with the staff. The bathroom and bed are amazing and I would love to use them again. The airport is only 10 yen away by taxi which is amazing and I honestly would come again.  I added two photos. One of my breakfast and another of the room while I was watching tv.

We highly recommend this hotel. They provide a free shuttle service from the airport to the hotel and vice versa. The distance is only about 10 minutes from the airport. Since we were transiting in Fuzhou, we intentionally chose a hotel that was close to the airport. The hotel is clean and modern, and one of the main highlights is their receptionists, they are truly friendly and caring. The hotel is also not far from the market; it only took me about 7 minutes to get there. Within a 15-minute walk, I was even able to find a halal restaurant. I highly recommend Lanou Hotel. If I ever have the chance to visit Fuzhou again, I would definitely stay here again.

Floor manager and bellboy service was good but reception quality and efficiency was quite bad and does not live up to a 5 star hotel name. Check in process took very long and message to deliver luggage into room was also not arranged and the luggage was placed in reception whole day since late morning till late night and still downstairs after we are back from sightseeing. Room is also quite dated , and we have asked to change room after check in due to smoke smell in the room. The great thing about the hotel is it's location , location and location!

We had stayed in Fuzhou Lakeside Hotel for 4 nights and then extended for another 2 nights. The Executive Floor rooms are spacious, well maintained and with good views. The many value added services that came with the Executive Room was a very pleasant surprise. These included daily access to the Exec Lounge for high tea and happy hour, one piece of free laundry per day, free mini bar drinks and daily fruit platter (both replenished daily). The service staff stationed on the Executive Floor is efficient, responsive and always ready to greet us with a cheerful smile. The hotel is just next to West Lake and cane be conveniently access via access gate to the broadwalk. Will highly recommend this hotel especially the Executive Rooms.

Very good hotel, close to biggest industry which is just a short walk opposite. Area is now much better than before ...food just downstairs ..kfc and Chinese restaurant in shoplots on ground floor.

We were there for a 2 night stay. Generally the accommodation was decent, the room and environment was clean. Last but not least, particularly Miss 柳 was very helpful during our stay. After knowing what we wanted, she directed us where to go. We thanks Miss 柳，she really makes our stay felt interesting and always make our day. For those who like food, 美食街is the right place. And staying in this hotel is recommended.

Clean and confortable rooms. Happy that 2 pillows are provided for each guest. We were upgraded and happy with the service of front desk. Love the olive shampoo abd body wash. Very convenient location just across the subway

Well located. Looks fancy. Dated interiors for the room and not so clean. Very expensive mini bar and instant food offered in the room. Service was cold, as the hotel front desk receptionist did not smile not greet at all. All the staff also seem to ignore me and looked indifferent. Well located beside Wanda Plaza though. If there are better choices, give this a miss.

Highly recommended esp due to good location. Lots of restaurants nearby & mall just opposite of hotel. Kind & helpful staff named Lisa & Roki that made our stay a very pleasant one. Room was spacious. My only feedback is that the breakfast can be improved. Serving all types of potatoes in one morning is just too boring. Boiled eggs & tea eggs at the same time is just no brainer. Maybe I expected more as this is Holiday Inn not some local hotel brand.
