The room has a charming, antique feel with a distinctive incense aroma, creating a rich cultural atmosphere. There's even a calligraphy experience available in the room. The mattress is very comfortable, and everything is clean and hygienic, especially the bathroom. Breakfast was incredibly varied, and the pastries were particularly delicious. I also want to thank the hotel staff for providing me with an extra complimentary breakfast.

The location was out of the way for a lot of attractions and unfortunately, we visited during summer so it was too hot and humid to explore the area. When we arrived, it felt like we were the only guest in the resort, we did not get buffet breakfast, instead just a limited breakfast from the menu. It was only the following mornings where there were more guest and the buffet opened, which is understandable. What was disappointing was the pool was closed, we booked this hotel just for the pool as we were traveling with children who would enjoyed it. The daily fruits was a great touch though.

Overall - an absolutely magical experience, like stepping into a fairytale, we absolutely LOVED our stay here, it was such an unforgettable experience! Breakfast with the giraffes was absolutely incredible, such a unique and surreal experience! One tip: if you want a table right by the window, make sure to arrive BEFORE 6:30 AM or LATER around 9:00–9:30 AM when it gets less crowded. The breakfast buffet was very good with an amazing variety of delicious food to suit every taste. You can also visit the restaurant during specific hours for lunch and dinner. During dinner, we enjoyed a wonderful live show with music and performers. And if you miss the restaurant's serving hours, there are other dining options around the resort. The entire hotel and wildlife park are beautiful and so much fun to explore! You can get around on foot or use the convenient shuttle service. There are so many different animals to see, along with plenty of interactive experiences. We especially loved the area with the adorable little budgies absolutely everywhere 🦜 Lemurs roam freely around the grounds and there are butterflies and dragonflies everywhere. It feels like a little paradise, full of life and harmony with nature. The hotel itself was also wonderful and very clean. Our room had a jacuzzi and we were welcomed with lots of lovely edible gifts. At check-out, we even received a cute little plush giraffe as a souvenir! Very thoughtful touches! The staff were absolutely amazing – incredibly friendly, attentive, and always happy to help. They assisted us with our luggage and patiently answered all our questions. A very special thank you to our concierge Liang, who was always available on WeChat, responded almost instantly, and helped us with absolutely everything. We really appreciated his kindness and excellent service. Another nice little bonus: each guest receives a free QR code to collect a complimentary bag of carrots to feed the animals. A couple of small suggestions for improvement: We noticed that the owls appeared to be tethered (?) and remained in the same spot which was quite sad to see. We really hope their welfare is being carefully considered. Also I personally think the experience would be even more magical without the music playing through speakers around the wildlife park. In such a beautiful natural environment, it would be wonderful to simply enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature. I also wonder whether the constant music might be stressful for some of the animals. Apart from these small concerns, we truly had an amazing time! The whole place feels like a dream, and you can see how much thought has gone into creating a special experience for guests. We absolutely loved it and would happily come back! Highlyyy recommended for anyone looking for something truly unique and memorable🦒

The stay at this hotel led to both bad and good/expected experiences. To begin by the bad, the reception/checkin was terrible (I had to wait for a long time and was forced to ask them two times to check me in, the breakfast restaurant was chaotic (I had to go back and forward, left and right, to find what I wanted to eat and drink, and so was the situation for everybody else, a huge number people forced to do the same…) which did not give a good start for the day, the staff in the lobby were not willing to tell me where the nearest convenient store was located… And now to the good/expected. The location is great: a 2 minute walking distance to the West Lake, a large number of restaurants, shops, cafes, Kerry Center, etc. The rooms was clean and quite and the bed comfortable. The cleaning staff were nice and helpful and the checkout was fast and pleasant.

Honestly, no elaborate review is really needed. Having just stayed here this past August for the summer holiday, and returning for a 3-night stay again for the National Day holiday less than two months later, that pretty much says it all. For domestic vacation destinations, InterContinental (洲际) is definitely one of the very few hotels—certainly fewer than three—that I would visit repeatedly within a short period. The hardware and scenery are simply flawless. As soon as Emily, the butler who took care of me last time, learned I was coming back for National Day, she arranged a room upgrade for one of the nights so I wouldn't have to pack up and switch rooms. Then, on the day of arrival, our lovely butler Landy had a bellhop waiting in the underground parking garage bright and early to help unload our luggage. She also recommended the complimentary hotel hiking tour. Climbing up to the hidden cave was a huge hit with the kids. The Freedom Island Tea Bar is open now too, perfect for anyone who loves to slow down and unwind. We stayed in the family lake-view room again, which comfortably accommodates four. Located well away from the central lake area, the hotel is wonderfully tranquil. There are no tourists wandering along the lakeshore, and far from the city's light pollution, we managed to catch sight of the Milky Way in East China's night sky once again, just like we did in August. The buffet dinner, the fish head soup at the Chinese restaurant, the breakfast—the quality and service were top-notch across the board. Even with the hotel fully booked, you could order noodles via your phone, and the waitstaff proactively asked about coffee preferences. That’s classic InterContinental standard right there. Our butler Landy checked in on us with genuine care from the very first moment we arrived, and even helped us secure a one-hour late checkout on our final day, letting us sleep in and leisurely pack our bags without having to rush.

Blown away by this design hotel! The space is minimalist and upscale, with thoughtful details. The lighting and soft furnishings are really well-considered. The service was gentle, and check-in was smooth. It's not just good-looking; it's a truly relaxing stay. The breakfast was also excellent!

I was very satisfied with the room. The bathroom and shower room are separate, and it's just a short walk from the subway exit to the hotel. Also, the guy at the front desk during check-in was exceptionally warm and welcoming, though I forgot to ask his name. The receptionist and staff member on duty during my check-out today were also very helpful and provided great service.

The front desk staff were incredibly warm and patient. Check-in and check-out were efficient, and room service was always prompt. The robot delivery service was a convenient touch. The prices are very reasonable with no hidden fees, making it perfect for business travelers, couples, or short getaways. If you're staying in Jinhua,四季逸境 (Siji Yijing) is definitely the place to be – you won't be disappointed!

The hotel's location is excellent, with Hankyu Department Store and Cultural Plaza nearby, making it convenient for dining and shopping. The service was also top-notch. The butler communicated proactively, and handling issues at night during our stay was exceptional. The front desk staff were also very competent, and colleagues were helping each other out, creating a great atmosphere. Breakfast was standard, and it was quite crowded during the National Day holiday. All necessary facilities were available, and the bedding was comfortable. The major drawback was the severe mosquito and insect problem. We didn't open the windows at all after entering the room, but my child was bitten seven times at night, which severely affected our rest. Such an issue is unacceptable in a 5-diamond hotel in an economically developed city. I've stayed in many old Xiangji and old state guesthouses in China, and never encountered similar problems, so it shouldn't be due to aging hardware. Other areas for improvement include the air conditioner's vibration noise and the detached waterproof strip in the bathroom. However, these might be specific to our room, but unfortunately, we experienced them. Also, the sink faucet was too short, which is a poorly designed feature.

The room is beautiful, you've seen that already, but here's my genuine experience that I hope helps set your expectations. Overall, bare minimum service. There is no proper front desk reception, and I had to remind them to set up the butler group chat the day before arrival because there were no instructions. Upon arrival, the main door was locked. Someone eventually came and brought my luggage up to the room, and that was it. No friendly chats, no personal touch, no estate introduction or tour, no other instructions, just a few pre-set WeChat images. The butler is quite responsive on chat but often provides incomplete answers. Service at breakfast was cold. No one welcomes you when you walk in, and there was no proper introduction to what was available. There was only one staff member at breakfast. He eventually came over and asked which main dish I'd like. There was no mention of Western vs. Chinese options until I overheard someone else's order. Most of the time he was standing at the kitchen entrance using his phone loudly, which made it hard to get his attention. The loud phone noise made the experience quite unpleasant, as I was hoping for a relaxing, quiet breakfast. Food options are very limited for a solo traveller. I ordered ******* for every lunch and dinner. I was quite hungry in the late afternoon and looking forward to the savory snacks in the afternoon tea set. I ordered them to my room and was told the ”chef had a family emergency” and could not prepare the fries and popcorn chicken, though I later saw someone else having the complete set in the lobby. :/ I saw another review a few months back giving feedback that there was no floor mat near the hot tub area. Even though they always respond to negative reviews the same way, saying they will improve, the problem was unfortunately not fixed. You only have one floor mat at the shower area and have to remember to bring it across the room to the hot tub area, or you'll be dripping wet on a slippery floor when you exit the tub. Soundproofing is bad. There is a road right next to the room, and you can hear occasional cars passing by. During my stay, farmers were harvesting bamboo, and you could hear the loud truck engines (which sounded like excavators) and them talking loudly. Mad respect for farmers, just highlighting the downside of the location that you dont see in the nice photos. The whole experience was strange because it felt like other guests were there for photoshoot over an actual hotel stay experience. You could see beautifully dressed ladies posing at every corner of the estate. Nothing wrong with that, just not something I'm used to. The experience is not without positives. The room I stayed in 【云渌】 had an insanely beautiful view, which was what I came for. It directly faces the bamboo forest and mountains. On good days, you'll probably be able to see a nice sunset. The room was clean and had great, thoughtful amenities, including Le Labo toiletries, a small pack of laundry detergent, eye masks, earplugs, and a Dyson hairdryer, to name a few. I also loved the huge private balcony it came with. I was really looking forward to this stay, but coming from another 民宿 I absolutely enjoyed, the service here was a stark contrast. This place has so much potential if they could brush up on the professionalism of the service crew to match the aesthetic and pricetag. I sincerely wish them well and hope the service can be improved.
