"The hotel has a great location and is very convenient. The staff at the hotel breakfast restaurant were very helpful and welcoming. There are some shortcomings that need improvement: the guest room floors weren't cleaned properly, there was dust on the bedside table, the towels smelled bad, and the hot water for showering in the morning wasn't hot enough."

RRanopI stayed at this hotel for a business trip, but its strategic downtown location made it feel like a bit of a vacation too. It's close to Banda Aceh's iconic mosque, which made getting around super easy and the atmosphere was really pleasant. It's perfect for anyone coming to Banda Aceh for business who still wants to enjoy the city without any hassle.

GGuest UserHad such a lovely stay at Hotel Hilani! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel super welcome — big smiles, quick check-in, and they were always ready to help. One of the staff even greeted me by my name, which honestly gave such a nice vibe ✨
The room was clean, comfy, and had everything I needed to just relax. I really loved how calm and peaceful the atmosphere was — perfect after a long day.
Service stayed great the whole time, and you can tell the team really cares about guests. Overall it was such a smooth, stress-free stay. I’d definitely come back and recommend it if you’re looking for a cozy place with genuinely friendly hospitality 🤍

EEdan1285Last minute booking this hotel after arrived at Banda Aceh on 22 Nov 2023. Price is reasonable. We received room number 333 and unfortunately the wifi connection was too bad. No connection inside room and we need to go down to lobby only able to get connected. Inform receiption and received reply nothing can be done. After dinner I did complain again to another receiption staff and he response very well by help us to change another room to 355 which is connection Wifi was extremely very good. Also help us to carry our luggage. He was so helpful and very good staff. Overall amenities was ok. Highly recommended for Muslim guest.

GGuest UserEverything was good eventho after flood in Aceh. I stayed during the flood season. The area wasn’t flooded, but there were power issues and unstable internet, so the hotel operated on a generator. Very friendly and polite staff. Room also clean. But the bathroom was not safe. The shower head fell and hit my shoulder while I was showering. Breakfast was good. I really liked the bihun goreng. The nasi goreng was a little bland, but it wasn’t a big issue. Ouh yaa, hotel near to Sate Matang stalls and souvenir shop. Can shopping at night because souvenir shop closed on 11pm.

FFaizuddin ZukriReally worth the money. The hotel is near to Masjid Raya Baiturrahman and in a walking distance. Very suitable for those travellers aim to go for frequent prayers at the mosque. Apart from that, the hotel located besides Blang Padang area which is local recreational area where you find local cuisines and place to enjoy Banda Aceh’s view

The rooms are spacious, comfortable, clean and tidy.
The hotel is located nearby to restaurants and grocery stores. The Syiafiatuddin Road with many shops for souvenirs and the local coffee (Gayo) is just opposite of the hotel on the other side of the roundabout.
The Raya Baitul Rahman Masjid is in walking distance.
Definitely worth to stay in the hotel, because the staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel even has its own restaurant.

GGuest UserEasily the best budget hotel in Banda Aceh, i only wish i found it earlier. The rooms are spacious, equipped with wifi, cold a/c, kettle, wardrobe and desk plus bedside cupboard, super clean comfy bed and sparkling white linen, big bathroom with hot shower. Water dispenser in every corridor and indoor + outdoor restaurant on the ground floor. Ample secure parkingand super helpful staff - everything you want from a hotel, I highly recommend Plum Hotel.

GGuest UserI like the surrounding of the hotel full of nearby food stalls. One of the best option in Aceh. Good value for money even though the rooms are a bit old fashioned. Close to the port for trip to Sabang.
