Fabulous location, we were welcomed very warmly and the car was valet parked which was important as it was cold and raining. We were offered a warm drink and a comfortable place to sit whilst the formalities of check in were completed. We didn’t even have time to finish our drink before we were offered an upgraded room at no extra cost. WOW! The room was spacious, beautifully dressed and we were shown our own private balcony with the most spectacular view and this was also very nicely furnished. Everything was as we’d hoped and expected, because the hotel is EXPENSIVE, but we received exactly what we paid for. All the staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the Pandemic has affected everyone and this hotel has had to do it’s best to survive these difficult times. The facilities in the Spa have been cut back to save costs but when we went to use it the place was warmed and treatments were enhanced to ensure we were more than satisfied. Luxury is expensive and we really enjoyed the pampering!!! All I can say is that this hotel and the treatment of their guests is everything you would expect for the price you have to pay. If wehad unlimited money we would stay only here when we visit Kashmir, which I do often to visit family. Even when we do visit family here we often visit the hotel, just to enjoy the gardens and admire the building and the ambience. Although we may not spend one penny on these visits the treatment by the staff has always been the same as we experienced on this visit. One word to describe this hotel FABULOUS.
Le Roi Jammu - Near Jammu Railway Station

- The hotel location is good. The only challenge is the continuous railway announcements coming to you. But that is bearable. - The front desk is really helpful. I was tired from a trip and they helped me check in a couple of hours before the scheduled check-in time seeing my tiredness. - Good ambience overall with a separate dining area and secured lifts. - The toilet (room# 201) was dirty - specifically the WC. - Bathroom exhaust fan is too noisy. - No wardrobes. - Delayed service - asked for shower caps as caps are available on de***d only. It took almost an hour to deliver after repetitive calls. - They need to consider providing an electric water kettle in the room seriously. The common area service for tea/coffee and hot water is good. But does not provide the right level of service and comfort. - If someone wants to drink multiple glasses of warm water, the person needs to go and sit there. - Morning tea, you need to go outside the room I think considering the cost of an electric kettle, it could be more economical and ***ageable.
Four Points by Sheraton Srinagar

Our stay at the Four Points by Sheraton in Srinagar was very pleasant right from the reception, dining and housekeeping. A special shout to Chef Waseem who would go out of his way to cook to our specific taste. He was always checking on us all the six days we were there. Breakfast was a vast spread and if we were not satisfied he would whip an alternative choice with a smile. The dining staff Zakir, Gowher Hamid, Fayaz, and Ahil were always checking on our needs. In short, their services were incredible. Not to forget the ***ager Ashiq Sheikh, he is definitely an asset to Four Points. His services were exemplary. I strongly recommend this hotel. You will find It worth every penny.

Excellent property. I really enjoyed my stay. Staff are courteous. They treat Guests as God. They helped me a lot during the stay. The food was good. Over all it was worth staying. A special mention for Mr. Amit Mohanta the Hotel ***ager of the property who really ***aged the property well.

We really enjoy staying in the hotel. It was an amazing clean, nice service, welcoming people everybody smiling everybody helpful, especially in the restaurant all stuff and Mrs. Saymaa& ashfaq bhat. Of course I will be the hotel for next time. I really feel I am at my home
Peacock Houseboats

The hospitality and the courtesy defined the finest tradition of Kashmir and it's people. ***zoor, the caretaker made sure that we were comfortable and served a very tasty and sumptuous dinner. As we had to leave early, the following morning, he woke up early so that we could have breakfast. The houseboat was comfortable but it does need renovation and a fresh coat of paint. These material aspects aside, it was a memorable stay at Nigeen Lake with clean waters and quiet environment to appreciate the majestic beauty of nature.

I am staying at the Ksshmir Inn.As I am a lone traveller the staff and ***agement take care of my safety.If I travel long distance a driver is delegated to me.When I just in the street wanting directions or trying to cross the roads the people are there to help.If I want to thank them they shake heads and say this is what they do.How humble are these people.As I have travelled ***y countries I have known such friendliness and kindness.In Kashmir there are so ***y beautiful mountains and lake areas to visit it could take several visits.This is what I am doing now.As a lone traveller there are ***y things that I watch out for.This hotel has done all this without me asking.My personal safety is top priority and that has guided the hotel for me.If I can travel alone and be safe here it makes for a tremendous holiday.Noelle Petrie Carmichael.

Best property, best food nd best service … Khyber is full of natural beauty & nature…. Swimming pool is again at it best with hot water …. Best part of Khyber is service by all people staff around … just a call away everyone is at ur service within a moment… The singer at entrance nd check inn time aarzoo nd ishwaq sir nd all pple where very cooperative… At breakfast nd dinner - ABHISHEK nd JUNAID JI where at dere service all the time in our two day stay experience… Surely will visit Khyber again …
