A very new hotel so everything is flawless. Bfast was amazing with a lot of choices and not crowded. Has private beach and pool and located in Mactan Newtown which has everything, 7-11, a lot of restaurants, groceries and outlets. Nice stay

Solid place to stay, staff are super nice. It is a bit old, has some cracks in the walls and a few little bugs in the bathroom. The bed is comfortable and clean, hot water in the bathroom, A/C wasn’t strong but does work, cold water refilling available on each floor.

Bayfront Hotel North Reclamation offers an excellent location, especially for travelers who want easy access to major malls and transport hubs. It provides great value for money, making it a practical choice for both short stays and business trips. The rooms are on the smaller side, but they are clean, well-maintained, and comfortable enough for a pleasant stay. Breakfast is decent, with enough variety to start your day, though it may not stand out compared to larger hotels. Overall, it’s a convenient and budget-friendly option, ideal for guests who prioritize location, cleanliness, and affordability over spacious accommodations.

We had a wonderful stay at this resort and truly appreciate the exceptional service provided by the staff. The front desk team was incredibly helpful—when my husband thought he had dropped his wallet in the car during our transit from the pier, they went above and beyond by checking the CCTV to help us track the car plate number. With their help, we discovered that the wallet was not left in the van. Eventually, we realized it had been dropped in a Grab car during our journey from Cebu City to Pier 1 Cebu, and we were able to successfully recover it. We are very grateful for their effort and support throughout the process. From the first day we checked in, the front desk staff noticed that my son was not feeling well. They kindly informed us that the resort has a nurse available and encouraged us to reach out if needed. On the third day, my 4-year-old son’s diarrhea became more serious, and the staff once again showed genuine care and concern. They arranged for a nurse to check on him, who provided helpful advice and referred us to a clinic doctor the next morning. This gave us great peace of mind as parents. The room was very nice, clean, and comfortable, and we really enjoyed the pool—it was excellent. Overall, the warm hospitality made our stay even more memorable. We also enjoyed the buffet breakfast at the resort, the purple yam porridge is very nice. All the staff were very kind, helpful, friendly, and warm. We would definitely come back again if we travel to Bohol. One small suggestion would be to add a gym room for guests, which would make the facilities even more complete. Cleanliness: super dirty kettle (see photo), found 2 millipedes in the room, lots of brown dark stains on the ceiling. Location: 2-3 mins away from the airport Service: too slow, we asked for extra pillow when we checked-in at 3 pm. we needed to follow up twice and finally got the pillow around 8 pm. same with the dirty kettle, we needed to ollow up before they gave us the replacement. Amenities: nice pool

Overall, our stay at Seda Ayala was mixed, and I would rate it 3 out of 5. The room itself was decent—clean and comfortable enough for a short stay, though nothing particularly memorable. Breakfast offered a wide selection of options, which was appreciated, but unfortunately the taste did not quite match the variety. What really affected our experience, however, was the service at the front desk during checkout. There were three counters open and only a short queue, yet the line barely moved and we ended up waiting for around 15 minutes. As we were in a rush to catch our flight, I approached a staff member named Stephan to ask if I could simply hand over the room keys to speed things up. Instead of assisting, he gave me a hostile look and curtly responded, “I have other customer,” in a tone that felt unnecessarily rude. This interaction overshadowed what was otherwise an average stay. With better service, especially at the front desk, the experience could have been much more pleasant.

I’ve stayed at this hotel a few times, and it’s become one of my favorites. At check-in, they welcomed me back, which was a really nice touch. Even though I arrived quite early, they still let me into a prepared room, which I really appreciated. The breakfast also delicious, and the rooftop bar has a great atmosphere, definitely one of the highlights. Overall, the value for money here is excellent. The only downside this time was that there was a noticeable sewage-like smell on the floor, which was a bit disappointing

We stayed at Henann Alona Resort as a family. The staff were very courteous and helpful. The foods are good lots of selections, and the location is perfect, with the surrounding pools is amazing my kids love it, they have kids and adult pool and what i love in the pool its not crowded worth the money, and our premier  room is big and the view is the pool. Good for family and friends outing.

We had an amazing stay at this resort, especially the breakfast. There are many pools and a calm beach, and the gym is very good. The entire staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and always smiling. However, there are a few things that could be improved: 1. The Wi-Fi access ends at 11 AM, which is quite strange and inconvenient. 2. You are not allowed to use the pools after your checkout. 3. You are not allowed to use the sunbeds with umbrellas after your checkout. 4. The beach is clean, but there is still a lot of “water grass” and the water is not very deep for swimming.

Comfortable beds, lovely 2 bedroom apartment. The pool is beautiful. There is a swim up bar, but no one is there. There is a bar onsite, but it’s not really “open”. It isn’t staffed, I had to call to get someone to come up, and I don’t think there’s drinks actually there, as Yvette had to go downstairs to get my beers. She was lovely though, she chatted to me while I had a beer. The room has tea and coffee, toothbrush/paste set. We were the only guests there, so it was very quiet. It’s a massive, cool hotel. Overall a great stay!
