Traveling to Guangzhou this time, I brought a friend along and we stayed at the Jianguo Hotel Guangzhou – it was definitely the right choice! The hotel's location is excellent, making it very convenient for getting around. It's close to the East Railway Station, which makes sightseeing or transferring transportation hassle-free. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the overall environment is quiet, and the staff are warm, polite, and responsive to any issues. As for the hotel's dining, you absolutely must try the handmade dim sum at the restaurant on the fourth floor. It's authentic Cantonese flavor, freshly made by hand, and tastes great. Sitting there with friends, slowly sipping tea and chatting, creates a wonderful atmosphere. The buffet at the Western restaurant on the second floor also exceeded expectations – a rich variety of dishes, fresh ingredients, and excellent taste. Everything from dining to accommodation can be conveniently arranged at the hotel. I would choose this place again whether for a business trip or a vacation. If you're visiting near Guangzhou East Railway Station and want to experience authentic Cantonese morning tea, I sincerely recommend this hotel!

I've stayed at this apartment hotel several times now. Why do I love staying here when I'm in Guangzhou? Purely because the room has a washing machine! Guangzhou is so humid and hot; I just can't feel comfortable if I don't wash my clothes daily, haha. The only downside is that they only provide two bottles of water, which is far too little. I was so thirsty at night 🤣. But the small kitchen and large fridge are great additions.

My stay at the Marriott Zhengjia Plaza was absolutely perfect! The hotel's location is excellent, directly connected to Zhengjia Plaza, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. Teemall and Parc Central are also within walking distance. Check-in at the front desk was efficient and smooth, and the staff were polite and attentive throughout. The concierge proactively helped with luggage, and these thoughtful details made me feel very welcome. The room was spacious and bright, spotlessly clean, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The bathroom had a separate shower and bathtub, and all amenities were well-stocked. The breakfast offered a rich variety of dishes, catering to both Western and Chinese tastes, and the quality was excellent. The heated pool and gym facilities were well-maintained. Overall, the hotel maintains a high standard, making it suitable for both leisure and business travelers. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Guangzhou. First Impressions: The lobby is stunning—elegant, warm, and beautifully lit, with a subtle signature scent that made the whole place feel luxurious. A staff member greeted me by name before I even reached the front desk. Check-in took less than five minutes, and I was offered a welcome drink and a cold towel while I waited. The Room: I was upgraded to a Deluxe Suite, and it was incredible. The room was spacious, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully designed, with a separate living area, a huge comfortable bed, and a marble bathroom featuring both a rain shower and a deep soaking tub. The amenities were top-tier, and the turndown service included a small local dessert and a handwritten note. The view from my window was spectacular, especially at sunset. The Food: Breakfast was a feast—an extensive buffet with everything from fresh sushi to made-to-order waffles, plus a barista who made a perfect flat white. I also had dinner at the hotel's restaurant, and it was genuinely one of the best meals of my trip. The chef even came out to check on the guests, which was a lovely touch. The Service: This is where Baiyun Hotel truly shines. Every single staff member I encountered was warm, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about my experience. Our stay was wonderful, and I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Guangzhou! The kids absolutely loved this hotel; we were truly amazed by it 🥰. The room was spacious and bright, and the soundproofing was excellent. We slept incredibly well at night. This stay at the Garden Hotel in Guangzhou, a long-standing platinum five-star hotel in China, truly exceeded expectations. It's been 40 years since its opening, and its enduring charm is evident. Two days before my arrival, a butler contacted me via phone and WeChat, even proactively booking a table for me at the Lingxuan Pavilion buffet on my check-in day. This proactive service was incredibly thoughtful. To be honest, I was a bit apprehensive before checking in. Given its long history, I was concerned about outdated facilities and had braced myself for it. However, the reality was far beyond my expectations. The hotel's maintenance is impeccable; both the lobby and the guest rooms are spotlessly clean and tidy, with no hint of wear or age. The front desk staff was exceptionally attentive, confirming my preferred view, orientation, and floor. They also kindly warned me about ongoing subway construction nearby and helped me choose a quieter room, ultimately upgrading my room – a truly delightful surprise. Stepping into the lobby, I was immediately awestruck by its grand and magnificent space. Two colossal murals adorn the walls: one depicting the Twelve Beauties of Jinling from 'Dream of the Red Chamber' in gilded marble, and the other showcasing Lingnan folk customs. Above, a massive 'Golden Dragon Playing with Pearls' caisson ceiling, crafted from tens of thousands of gold foils, creates a powerful visual impact and serves as the hotel's most iconic Lingnan artistic symbol. The hotel also boasts a 21,000 square meter private garden, featuring dual waterfalls, a red bridge over flowing water, a koi pond, and traditional pavilions – a quintessential Lingnan garden. Walking in, the temperature felt noticeably cooler, and sitting quietly for a while was incredibly serene. The Waterfall Restaurant, nestled by the garden, offers stunning water views from its floor-to-ceiling windows, creating a perfect ambiance for an evening drink or afternoon tea. The renovated guest rooms feature a classical Lingnan Chinese style, with exquisite details. As it was Mid-Autumn Festival during my stay, the room thoughtfully included mooncakes. The hotel also offers free historical guided tours, where a guide takes you through the hotel's historical corners, recounting its stories. The guide was very friendly and even provided individual recaps for guests who arrived late – a huge plus. Lingnan artistic elements are abundant throughout the hotel, making it a joy to explore. I noticed many international guests, indicating its high global recognition. Dining had both highs and lows. Lingxuan Pavilion boasts a stunning environment and a high-class interior. The food selection is extensive, and the chef's selected à la carte dishes were of outstanding quality. My only minor disappointment was an incorrect gender on the personalized card; it was also mistaken during a previous phone call, and I was surprised it was still incorrect on the card. However, this is a small detail that doesn't detract from the overall experience. The Liwan Pavilion has a charming Xiguan-style ambiance, but the food quality was average and prices were a bit high. The hotel's lounge offers decent food and an acceptable atmosphere, but the space is a bit small with no views, and the service was quite unnoticeable, making that experience somewhat ordinary. I've previously stayed at Guangzhou's other two major long-standing hotels: White Swan Hotel and China Hotel. Compared horizontally, while the Garden Hotel's dining might be slightly less refined than the White Swan, its overall experience is superior, especially considering the price point, making it excellent value for money. Its location is also a major advantage, situated in the old city, making it very convenient for exploring local eateries, with the renowned Lai Heen restaurant right next door. If you're planning a visit to Guangzhou's old city and want to immerse yourself in Lingnan history, culture, and the legacy of a classic five-star hotel, the Garden Hotel comes highly recommended.

During the National Day holiday, it was crowded, so there was a bit of a wait for the shuttle bus. Our butler, Vivi, was incredibly attentive and helped us promptly with anything we needed. The whole family had a wonderful time! 👍 Additionally, both the dinner and breakfast buffets were extensive, and ordering room service was very convenient. We truly enjoyed our stay, the spa was also very relaxing, and there was even a reptile exhibit for educational fun. It was a perfect trip, and we'll definitely be back~

The room is quite large and features a balcony. Although the decor feels a bit dated, it is very clean and well-equipped with all the essentials. Both the bed and pillows are extremely comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The shampoo and conditioner are quite nice, and the hairdryer is surprisingly good—it has a pleasant airflow. Bathrobes are provided in the room, which you can wear directly to the hot springs area since it's just a short walk away. The buffet breakfast is delicious with a huge variety! In addition to Western options, they serve Cantonese dim sum like siu mai, phoenix claws, and pan-fried dumplings, plus eggs fried to order, freshly steamed rice rolls (changfen), and made-to-order noodles. Best of all, the service is fantastic; the staff promptly replenish the food, so you never have to worry about empty trays or a lack of hot dishes if you arrive late. They proactively pour tea as soon as you sit down, and if they notice you using your phone, they'll even bring you a phone stand. The surroundings are lovely too, featuring a greenway along the river and a country park nearby for hiking. The hot springs are also amazing! Since access is unlimited, we went once on the day of check-in and again on the day of check-out, trying out all the soaking pools, massage pools, steam rooms, and more. It’s incredible value for money! The staff at the hot springs also provide top-notch service. Besides actively serving tea and water, everyone was exceptionally polite and attentive—we didn't encounter a single staff member slacking off or giving a cold attitude, which is truly rare. The changing and shower facilities at the hot springs are also very well-designed: the shower area is spacious, fully stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, and each locker room provides clean slippers, hangers, and ample storage space, along with a row of vanities for drying hair or applying makeup. I recommend showering directly in the hot spring area, throwing on your bathrobe to grab some snacks in the lounge, and then heading back to your room.

However, could the bed linen, living room pillowcases, and chair cushions be changed more frequently? They were a bit dirty; I didn't even dare to sit on them. The hot spring bath was very comfortable; the water could be refilled endlessly without extra charge, which was great. The pool was also quite clean. The restaurant food was just so-so, nothing special to mention. I'd recommend eating at a nearby farmhouse instead.

Overall, it's an all-in-one place for dining, entertainment, and play, making it very convenient for parents with kids. ✅ The hotel's biggest highlight is the Sky Hot Springs on the fourth floor. The views are expansive, overlooking the Liuxi River. There are many public hot spring pools, and a dedicated water play area for children with small slides and a fountain splash pool. Our child went in and didn't want to leave, and the water temperature was perfect for kids. There's also the Dolphin Baby Paradise, where kids can burn off energy indoors. ✅ We stayed in a Deluxe River View Room, which had a private hot spring tub. The room was spacious, the bedding was comfortable, and the private tub on the balcony was just right for two people!

The dining environment at [Dian Cui Fang · Lingnan Handmade Dim Sum · Tea Ceremony] on the 27th floor of the hotel is excellent! The decor is beautiful and stylish, yet it retains the rich cultural heritage of a hotel with 40 years of history! I arrived at 7:30 PM and was warmly greeted by a middle-aged (actually quite young) lady in a black suit uniform, Ms. [0573 Hu Baodi]! Other restaurant staff informed me that hotel guests receive a 10% discount on dining, and on Teachers' Day, September 10th, teachers with relevant identification would also receive a discount. After dinner, I suddenly had a craving for mooncakes... I saw that mooncakes were on the menu... After inquiring with the staff, I learned that mooncakes were selling fast, in high demand, and some varieties were already out of stock... The restaurant manager, upon learning of this, quickly provided a solution – to check the inventory records in the warehouse and help me find the relevant products... It was already 9:15 PM, only 15 minutes before closing time at 9:30 PM. The restaurant manager could have easily brushed me off with excuses like ”out of stock” or ”sold out”... However, this manager did not! Instead, she responsibly handled the issue and tried her best to meet the customer's needs! She personally plated the mooncakes, brought cutlery, and thoughtfully said, ”Closing time is 9:30 PM, but we can extend it by 10-15 minutes if needed!” I couldn't help but ask, ”Why is your restaurant service so good?! Won't this delay your off-duty time?” She replied, ”15 minutes is definitely not enough to eat mooncakes... that would be too rushed...” This manager also enthusiastically helped us change to a fresh pot of tea! When she learned that we were hotel guests, the manager said, ”Then you should enjoy your meals and drinks even more at the hotel restaurant!”... ”Coming to the restaurant is like coming home for a meal!” I never expected such a broad mind and high-level perspective from this restaurant manager! This service philosophy of ”leaving convenience for guests and trouble for oneself” is truly touching! What's more, I never expected a hotel restaurant manager to treat hotel guests like family! I believe this restaurant is not only dedicated to serving in-house guests but also provides a ”home away from home” experience for every customer who dines there! The entire team at [Dian Cui Fang · Lingnan Handmade Dim Sum · Tea Ceremony] on the 27th floor of [Guangzhou Ocean Hotel] provides excellent service! The waiter, waitress, and even the auntie who serves dishes are all very nice! I won't list all the four-digit employee numbers here! I've been so busy praising the restaurant's service... In fact, the dishes and dim sum from the hotel restaurant on the 27th floor are also delicious... Additionally, this restaurant offers unique dishes that cannot be found elsewhere! Thankful for this encounter! Thank you for meeting such wonderful people! The entire team at the 27th-floor hotel restaurant! When I made the reservation, I noted that it was for a birthday celebration, and the hotel thoughtfully prepared a cake and some small decorations for us. It perfectly reflects Hyatt's attention to detail and warmth. The room offers a clear view of Guangzhou's famous three towers, and the toiletries are Balmain, which are excellent. Beyond the room itself, everyone from the doorman to the front desk staff was incredibly professional and enthusiastic. Next time I visit Guangzhou, the Grand Hyatt will be my only choice.

The Executive Lounge at Mandarin Oriental Guangzhou is excellent. Aside from one staff member who seemed a bit stern, the other service personnel were all incredibly warm and polite, making us feel right at home. The food inside was also fantastic. Although the cocktails were a bit subpar, the overall experience was still very positive, earning high praise from both myself and my boss. The public area's pool and Jacuzzi experience were also great, and the sauna and warm pool in the changing rooms were equally impressive. The room itself was also quite good.

In the luxury hotel landscape of Guangzhou, Jumeirah has always been a understated player. It doesn't perch atop Guangzhou like Rosewood or Four Seasons, dominating with commanding tower views, nor does it possess the trending ambiance or master designs of Park Hyatt or Mandarin Oriental. Yet, without vying for attention, it consistently garners many excellent reviews. I found its overall appeal to be comprehensive, warm, and attentive. I booked a unique duplex suite, but upon arrival at 4 PM, no room was immediately available. Instead of making me wait, the front desk immediately offered an upgrade to a two-level higher, Guangzhou Tower View Executive Suite. This initial upgrade was a pleasant surprise. James from the hotel explained their service philosophy to me, and I truly felt that sense of care and service dedication towards guests. My 03-ending tower view suite was very spacious and well-laid out. The tower view was glimpsed through the gaps of the APM building, offering a somewhat veiled, 'pipa half-hidden' charm compared to a direct view of the Canton Tower. While the room's design isn't as distinct as MO or Rosewood, it prioritizes comfort, featuring wood, lattice, and orange accents that are still very appealing and comfortable. The service was a highlight. From the doormen, lobby staff, front desk, to housekeeping, everyone was polite and smiling. Guest relations added me on WeChat and responded quickly. When I asked the gym front desk staff about the outdoor pool, they didn't just point the way; they enthusiastically escorted me, taking the elevator, changing floors, and walking through an entire floor to the apartment's outdoor pool. The harp performance during breakfast was indeed delightful, and while the food variety wasn't extensive, it was exquisite. Overall, Jumeirah truly surprised me this time, adding another excellent option for my Guangzhou staycations.

I'm writing this letter specifically to commend your employee, Katrina Lu, and also to sincerely praise the hotel's outstanding performance in all aspects. The hotel's location is truly exceptional, situated in the city center, making it very convenient for getting around, dining, and shopping. The rooms are spacious and clean, the bedding is comfortable, and the soundproofing is good, ensuring a restful stay. The hotel's cuisine is rich and delicious; both breakfast and other meals were very much to our liking. The overall service was professional and courteous, and we felt meticulous care everywhere. Our stay at W Hotel Guangzhou was absolutely delightful! A special shout-out to Rebecca from Guest Relations – she was incredibly proactive, reaching out before our arrival to understand our needs and responding swiftly and professionally. It happened to be my child's birthday during our stay, and the hotel thoughtfully arranged a birthday setup and a little surprise, making the celebration feel extra special and bringing so much joy to my kid. The hotel's location in Zhujiang New Town is super convenient for getting around, the rooms are spotless, and the signature W trendy design creates a fantastic atmosphere. Rebecca continued to follow up throughout our stay, patiently answering all our questions and providing attentive service that was never intrusive. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we'll definitely choose W Hotel Guangzhou again on our next visit!

Came to this hotel to celebrate my wife's birthday. The front desk service was quite efficient, didn't have to wait long, and they even upgraded us to a Guangzhou Tower view room for free! The view was spectacular! We thought they'd only send a birthday cake, but they also sent a bottle of sparkling wine! I borrowed a power bank from the lobby, and when it was full, I couldn't return it myself. The front desk even arranged for someone nearby to return it for me, so thoughtful! The hotel swimming pool is also beautiful! As a vegetarian, my wife said this was the most satisfying breakfast she's ever had! The location is excellent, close to Huacheng Square, Guangzhou Library, Guangdong Museum, and there are several large shopping malls right next to the hotel, offering plenty of dining and entertainment options! It's also very close to the subway station. Overall, we were basically very satisfied!

This trip, I stayed at the Hilton with my mother for her birthday celebration in Guangzhou. The hotel's location is excellent; it's very quick to get to Beijing Road, Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, and Canton Tower, and there are many local delicacies to enjoy nearby. The hotel manager thoughtfully arranged birthday decorations for us! Since I had informed the hotel in advance that I was bringing a baby, they also prepared a crib, a separate small pillow, and a blanket for us, which was very heartwarming 🫶. The room was also very quiet, and the high-floor view was fantastic. The room amenities were complete. I especially want to thank the cleaning staff that day; because the little one needed formula, she thoughtfully prepared a lot of purified water. Thank you very, very much!! The hotel is fully equipped with a pool and gym, both of which I tried out. The pool water was very clean, located on the 8th floor, with separate shallow and deep sections. The view was expansive, and it was very comfortable to swim in the morning. There were also lifeguards on site, and separate spacious and well-equipped changing rooms for men and women. The gym was on the same floor, and the basic equipment was quite comprehensive. Working out while looking at the city view outside the window was very refreshing. The hotel's spa experience was also excellent. I chose a 90-minute essential oil massage. The environment was quiet, the masseuse was professional, and I felt very relaxed afterward. I highly recommend it to friends who are tired from their travels or whose bodies are fatigued. It was truly wonderful.

Close to the airport, free shuttle every 30 minutes. Despite this, walking access is difficult, recommended way to access the airport is on a vehicle. Breakfast is diverse and delicious. Rooms are clean. There is a fridge, bathroom robes, umbrella, tea and coffee. There is even suger and sweetener as well. Interesting: glass wall between room and bathroom, it can be covered by a curtain if necessary. Positive: very quiet despite its proximity to the airport, swimming pool for the guests, shuttle bus starts airport transfer at 5 a.m, breakfast starts at 5:30 a.m. Negative: too few electrical sockets, one of two beds had no sockets at all (!), absence of Type C sockets at all.

This hotel was perfect for attending Chen Chusheng's concert. It's just one subway stop from University Town, so getting back to the hotel quickly after the show was a breeze. A big shout-out to Guangzhou's excellent management; the order was fantastic! The hotel's location deserves full marks – it's right by subway exit A, super close! 😁 The higher floor offered great views, and the room was spacious. The breakfast had delicious bread and waffles 🧇, tasty freshly made rice noodles, and plenty of fruit. We enjoyed the views while we ate. Both the floor staff and the ground floor attendants were very friendly. If you have time, you can also walk along the greenway on the island. The only downside is the price, around 500 a night, but overall, it was a good experience.

I booked a standard room and checked in at a room on the 8th floor, but the bathroom had a water leak, so a delivery robot brought a new room card. I was upgraded to a family room with one large and one twin bed, which was spacious and came with a Kung Fu tea set. However, the door was a bit warped from age, making it difficult to engage the safety lock; I had to lift the door frame firmly to align it with the latch. The mattress was on the firmer side, and there was practically no strange odor in the room. As someone with poor sleep quality, I felt I slept okay. I checked out at 12:00 PM, but didn't realize I left a charger behind until 3:30 PM. Since I was in a rush, I contacted the hotel via WeChat and told them to keep it for someone who might need it. Overall, my stay was pleasant, and I would consider staying here again on my next business trip.
