The hotel is right next to Chunxi Road, with a food court nearby and plenty of dining options. You can walk to Renmin Park and visit Hemin Teahouse or Shaocheng Teahouse for tea (though they're often crowded and not cheap). The breakfast is extensive, fresh, and delicious, especially the tofu pudding. I also tried the Chinese lunch set on the second floor, which was great value for money and tasty. My only complaints are that one of the bedside outlets in the room didn't work, and the bathtub was small, meaning you had to shower inside it.

The hotel is perfectly located, with everything within walking distance: the main pedestrian street, the famous bridge, and the metro. It has all the necessary amenities, including a washing machine, iron, microwave, and cutlery. The only downside was that my son and I developed allergic rhinitis, possibly due to the air conditioning or mold in the shower. The room cleaning was also mediocre.

This is my second stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Chengdu, and as always, the service is excellent. The breakfast is fantastic, and the view is stunning! 😎 Located in the city center, it's perfect for both business travelers and individual tourists. Downstairs, you'll find the original Chen Mapo Tofu and Yang Mala Tang restaurants, great for late-night cravings. Meria was very thoughtful, sending chocolates and yogurt. After breakfast, I grabbed two small bags of loose candies to snack on later. Everything was a wonderful experience; I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit!

We had a one-night stay at The St. Regis Chengdu. Overall, the hotel was well maintained, with excellent cleanliness throughout the property. The room was clean, as were the common areas such as the lift lobby and gym. The hotel staff, including the Front Desk, Concierge and Bell Team, were attentive, professional and readily available to assist. Their service contributed positively to our stay and reflected the level of hospitality expected of a St. Regis property. However, the comfort and functionality of the room assigned to us could be improved. The mattress felt somewhat sunken and was not as firm or comfortable as expected. Given the standards associated with the St. Regis brand, we felt that the sleeping comfort could have been better. There were also a few functional issues. The quick-dial “Reception” button on the room telephone was not working, leaving us uncertain whether to press 0 or 9 when assistance was required. In addition, the touch-sensitive buttons in the room were not particularly responsive, which made them less intuitive and convenient to use. Overall, the stay was satisfactory. The St. Regis team delivered good and attentive service, and the property was clean and well maintained. However, the room comfort and some of the in-room functions fell short of the standards we would expect from a St. Regis property.

I have stayed here many times over the years due to location. This booking the actual room was very dirty and I had to ask to change rooms twice which the wonderful staff assisted. Since the hotel changed brand and did minor facade renovations they neglected to improve rooms , for the same price ( or less) I have stayed in other near by accomodations with better conditions and would suggest this hotel maintain their property better if they are to remain competitive in the market. The best thing about this hotel is the staff who give an excellent service.

Traveling to Chengdu with my sister, we stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Gulou. We had a group deal, and when I tried to book, only king rooms were available; I couldn't find any twin rooms. So, I called the hotel, and the staff member was very helpful in changing our room type to a twin room. After checking in, we found their service to be excellent, the facilities complete, and the location very convenient. A big thank you to Xiaogan and Xiaoshi at the front desk for their wonderful service!

The location is very convenient, close to Baba Street, with many dining options within walking distance. Although the hotel is a bit old, the remnants of its former luxurious self are still evident. The rooms are very spacious, and the front desk staff's check-in speed is absolutely fantastic. However, there was a smoke smell in the room, likely from a previous guest, even though I had specifically requested a non-smoking room... All in all, for this price in the city center, it's definitely excellent value for money.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Kempinski Chengdu, convenient location, excellent service, would stay again. I chose the Kempinski for my trip to Chengdu this time. The location is great, right next to Tongzilin subway station, making it very close to Chunxi Road and Yulin. The room was newly renovated, clean, and comfortable, with very soft bedding that ensured a great night's sleep. The bathtub was also perfect for unwinding. Breakfast was a highlight, featuring freshly cooked Dan Dan noodles and tofu pudding, with both Western and Chinese options, all tasting delicious. The service was also top-notch; both the front desk and housekeeping were very responsive. Overall, I'm very satisfied and will choose this hotel again next time I'm in Chengdu.

I'm practically begging all my girlfriends to stay here! 👭 👉 The exterior is understated and chic, and when the lights come on at night, the ambiance is incredible – every photo looks like it's from a magazine! 📸 The lobby fragrance is delightful, and check-in was super smooth. 👉 The room facilities are so new they're scream-worthy! Smart toilet + panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows – my bestie just flopped onto the sofa and didn't want to leave! The cleanliness details are also fantastic, even the glassware sparkles. ✨ 👉 The service truly earns extra points! As soon as we arrived, we were offered hot towels and herbal tea, and in the evening, they brought local specialty snacks. 🍪 They were incredibly responsive to our requests without being intrusive – they really mastered the balance! 💣 Minor drawback: The parking entrance is a bit tricky; it's easy to miss on your first visit. I'd recommend asking the front desk for directions in advance. Overall, the value for money is incredible! If you're traveling with friends, just book it without hesitation! I'll definitely stay here again next time!

The professional service from a traditional big brand is, without a doubt, excellent! The location is superb, right by Jiuyan Bridge. After a busy day in the city, you can easily stroll along the riverfront to enjoy both the daytime and nighttime views. Before leaving, we had lunch at Shang Palace restaurant. The food quality and creativity were top-notch, and the service was impeccable. They even gave us a box of Mid-Autumn Festival mooncakes, which provided a perfect end to our stay. I'm so grateful we made the right choice! Just a small suggestion: the lobby on the second floor is grand and spacious, with plenty of room. It would be ideal to add more seating for guests waiting for family, drivers, or friends, so they can relax comfortably.

I highly recommend Ascott Raffles City Chengdu! The location is unbeatable, directly connected to Raffles City Mall with plenty of dining options and a supermarket downstairs. It's also close to the Provincial Sports Centre subway station, making it incredibly convenient for getting to all the major attractions. Compared to a regular hotel, a serviced apartment truly shines. The room is spacious, featuring a separate living room and bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen, and a washer-dryer combo – perfect for keeping clothes clean on longer trips. The room itself is spotless, the bedding is comfortable, and the soundproofing is excellent. The front desk staff are warm, polite, and respond promptly to requests. The apartment also boasts a heated swimming pool and a gym, ideal for relaxing and unwinding after a day of travel. It's perfectly suited for both short getaways and layovers. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Chengdu!

A perfect private hot spring guesthouse! Enjoy bliss in the mountains; the details are simply divine. This mountain hot spring guesthouse deserves five stars! From the moment I stepped into the courtyard, my positive impression soared—the idyllic mountain setting was incredibly soothing, the air filled with the scent of nature, completely away from the crowds. The private hot spring water was reassuringly clean, and the intelligent temperature control was a thoughtful touch. Soaking in it instantly melted away all my fatigue. In the evening, paired with a home theater, the comfort was simply unparalleled. The guesthouse's details were even more stunning: the rustic yet exquisite decor created a wonderful atmosphere, the teaware was so delicate I almost didn't want to leave it behind, and afternoon tea with the mountain view was incredibly pleasant; the smart appliances in the bathroom were convenient and high-end, and even the sweet fermented rice balls with brown sugar were incredibly soft and delicious—you could feel the owner's care. The owner's hospitality and the two adorable dogs were the biggest pluses! Playing with the dogs and taking them for walks felt like being at a friend's house. This stay was so comfortable; I'm already thinking about coming back again. Highly recommended, a top choice for family trips!

Yuanyuanxiang is genuinely delicious! Usually, mountain guesthouses either have inconvenient dining or aren't quiet enough. Yuanyuanxiang is both peaceful and offers amazing food! The chef's skills are truly impressive, and you can even order from nearby restaurants to have food delivered to you! The breakfast is also incredibly rich and varied! It's a Western and Chinese buffet, and you can order super tasty noodles! The room also has a variety of snacks, drinks, and fruits, and they are proactively refilled every day! The private hot springs are also meticulously cleaned. When I checked in, there weren't many guests, and the butler even came to help clean it again! All the butlers are very enthusiastic and attentive! I felt extremely well taken care of! Highly recommend!

This is our second stay within a week (after 2 nights at Jiuzhaigou). When we returned, it’s comforting to be greeted warmly by Xiao Zhang at the reception again (he checked us in one our first stay). Although the staff are on shifts and we met different people each day, everyone showed the same level of friendliness and helpfulness. We enjoyed a free upgrade again and loved the room with modern decor, and opportunity to wash our clothes before heading out again. We’re convinced that Sungold is the perfect base to explore Chengdu and other attractions in Sichuan. We’re off to Dujiangyan and Qingchen, and will be back here again for another 2 nights!

This was my second stay, and it's an excellent choice. The location is super convenient, with a subway station right downstairs, and it's just a 10-15 minute walk to Chunxi Road and Taikoo Li. The breakfast was rich and delicious, and the service was great. Since it's summer and you need to change clothes multiple times a day, having self-service laundry and drying facilities was incredibly convenient!

Public transportation and subways are readily available nearby, making commuting and sightseeing effortless. The twin room I stayed in was clean, tidy, and well-equipped, providing a comfortable stay. My only minor disappointment was that the room's window was a bit small, limiting the view compared to the more open and airy king room I stayed in before. Nevertheless, the overall value for money is good, and it's a great place to stay for a visit to Chengdu.

The room was clean, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The air conditioning was gentle and quiet, and the shower water was soft and pleasant. The common areas were also very clean. The swimming pool on the 5th floor was clean, though a bit small, and there were two warm soaking pools that the kids absolutely loved. The hotel front desk contacted me in advance to arrange a quiet room on a higher floor for me. I went to Chengdu for the auto show and visited Sanxingdui. There are many food options around the hotel; I went out for a late-night snack behind the hotel, which took about 20 minutes to walk to, or just a few minutes by taxi.

Overall, we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay, although our first impression could have been a little better. The hotel itself is beautiful, comfortable, and very pleasant. However, when we first arrived, I felt that the front desk staff were a little cool and robotic, so the welcome didn’t feel as warm as I expected. The staff who helped us with our luggage to the room also didn’t really introduce the hotel or its facilities, and the security guard we met on our first night didn’t seem very friendly either. These small things made our first impression of the service a little disappointing. Luckily, things became much better from the second day onwards. The staff we met later, especially on our check-out day, were friendly, warm, and always willing to help. Their attitude really made a difference and improved our overall experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained throughout our stay. We also really enjoyed the breakfast, it was delicious and there were plenty of choices every morning. The location is another big plus. It’s very convenient and easy to get around and explore the area. Despite the slightly disappointing start, we still enjoyed our stay. A warmer and more personal welcome on arrival would definitely make the experience even better. Special thanks to the friendly staff we met during the rest of our stay for making us feel much more welcomed!

This hotel is excellent! The environment is great, the views are fantastic, and the room space is very generous (I especially loved the large window, haha, see pic 4). From my room, I could see the 339 TV Tower. The butler was very kind and patient, and the service center answered calls incredibly fast, fulfilling all my requests, and even helped me with a late check-out. I could also request a more suitable pillow at night. The security staff at the entrance were very thoughtful, opening car doors and helping with luggage. All my needs were handled perfectly, and the service felt genuinely warm. The hotel environment is clean and comfortable, making my entire stay hassle-free. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. After a few days of exploring, I feel Chengdu is a very warm and welcoming city. Highly recommended!

Staying at Wanda Reign Chengdu this time was an absolutely stellar experience, I just had to write a detailed positive review! First off, the check-in process was excellent; the front desk staff were efficient, so there was no long wait, and they were all friendly and professional. Throughout my stay, I had a dedicated butler providing attentive service – whether it was directions, room requests, or dining reservations, their responses were incredibly prompt, truly showcasing a high level of premium service. The room itself far exceeded my expectations; it was meticulously cleaned, every corner spotless, and the bedding was fresh and odor-free. The mattress had the perfect balance of softness and support, allowing me to completely unwind after exploring Chengdu's streets and alleys, leading to truly restful sleep. The hotel's facilities are also comprehensive. The underground parking has ample spaces and easy access, making it stress-free for those traveling by car. The dining was another major highlight. Breakfast runs from 6:30 AM all the way until 1:30 PM, which was incredibly convenient for someone like me who enjoys sleeping in! The variety was extensive, offering everything from Western pastries and live cooking stations to authentic Sichuan snacks, freshly made noodles, and specialty bites. I left feeling completely satisfied and happy. The afternoon tea on the 41st floor boasts an amazing view, overlooking the city and offering a panoramic sight towards Jiuyan Bridge. Both the sweet and savory treats were exquisitely crafted, creating a wonderful ambiance. For dinner, I chose the Pin Zhen Chinese Restaurant. The dishes were authentically flavored, with the Sichuan cuisine being fresh, fragrant, and rich in taste. The private rooms offer great privacy, making it suitable for both casual gatherings with friends and business dinners. From the meticulous service and room comfort to the dining and recreational facilities, every aspect was impeccable. Its excellent location also made sightseeing convenient. It truly lives up to its reputation as a benchmark for luxury hotels in Chengdu. I will definitely choose Wanda Reign again on my next visit to Chengdu, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone!

My stay at W Chengdu was excellent. The overall design is avant-garde and stylish, the public areas are full of artistic flair, and the rooms are clean and comfortable with soft bedding. Front desk staff Xiao Gu and Xiao Du provided efficient and professional service. The overall value for money is very high, making it my top choice for accommodation when traveling.

I really enjoyed the stay in the hotel! Everyone were super keen to help and the hotel room itself was really clean no weird smells and spacious. The location is quiet and nice. 5 min walk from the metro and there are bikes parked right outside so you can ride wherever. There’s only one washing machine but they were completely ok with my delayed checkout due to waiting to the dryer to end. Didn’t take photos of my room but it was exactly as the pictures they put if not better:)

We drove to Chengdu, and since there are traffic restrictions based on license plates, having a parking lot at this hotel was incredibly convenient. The security guard was also very kind and welcoming. The front desk staff was diligent and responsible. The room wasn't huge, but it was very elegant, and the bedding was super comfortable. There are lots of great food options nearby, and it's really close to Chunxi Road. If you want to go to Sanxingdui, you can just take a bus from Chunxi Road. Chengdu truly is a relaxing city! After a long day of sightseeing, coming back and having some tea was just perfect. The front desk even gave us a Wenshu Monastery prayer bracelet with 18 beads!

The location is excellent, very close to Metro Line 2 and convenient for buses. Kuanzhai Alley is also nearby and within walking distance. There are plenty of dining options in the surrounding area, catering to all budgets. The room was spacious enough, and it came with tea bags, soft candies, and cookies. In the hallway, there were cold fruit drinks and hot coffee available. All the hotel staff were very friendly. The hygiene was good, and the facilities were neither new nor old. The bathroom occasionally had a slight odor, but that's a minor point, and overall, I highly recommend it.

This stay was absolutely fantastic, 10/10! 👍🏻 The hotel is located on an island, offering a great environment. The room was spacious and airy, complete with a separate kitchen and washing machine, allowing for simple cooking and laundry. The bedding was also incredibly comfortable and soft. It’s very close to Global Center and SKP, even within walking distance. There’s also a swimming pool and a gym. The value for money is exceptional; compared to hotels in the city center, it’s truly outstanding. Highly recommended!!!

This stay truly exceeded my expectations! Upon entering the room, there was no strange odor, and the desk and floor were spotless. The bedding was fluffy and soft, and lying on it made my fatigue instantly melt away. The bathroom was dry with no standing water, and toiletries were fully stocked. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient during check-in, and they responded promptly to any issues. The hotel's location is excellent, making it very convenient to get around. The self-service laundry room had well-maintained equipment, making washing and drying clothes a breeze. The breakfast spread was rich, with both hot dishes and snacks available. Overall, the value for money is great. It's a worthwhile choice for a trip to Chengdu, and I'll definitely come back next time!

We chose this hotel because it was close to the zoo and panda base, and the receptionist, Xiao Shu, greeted us warmly as soon as we entered the lobby. She gave our child candy and even provided slippers and a children's toothbrush – very thoughtful! The hotel environment was great, and there were many snack shops, hot pot restaurants, barbecue restaurants, and skewers restaurants nearby, all with delicious food. The room was very clean, well-equipped, and the shower temperature was just right. The air conditioning was also very smart. We could call the front desk for any issues, and they always resolved them promptly. The service was truly excellent.
