⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐The rooftop view of Guilin Port House is amazing! The 9th floor is under renovation, I thought I would miss the beautiful view. Fortunately, Miss YanHong took us up to see the view enthusiastically. When you step into the 9th floor, you will see the construction site. When you walk to the balcony, you will feel like you are in a dreamland above the city. The view upstairs is very wide. The landscape painting of Guilin unfolds slowly in front of you. The mountains in the distance are like dark blue, and the city streets nearby is amazing. The layout of the building is exquisite, adding a bit of vitality and comfort. Miss YanHong took us to see the night view at 8:30. The lights were on, shining like stars, this is a great place to relax, whether it is a couple hugging to watch the sunset, or chatting with friends to enjoy the night view (I chatted with YanHong, who I just met, for 2 hours upstairs). Really enjoyed my stay !

What a wonderful experience for us all as a family. When we saw the room, we instantly felt comfortable. Their warm welcome made us feel like home. We can't wait to come back again and will surely recommend to friends and family. Their fresh breakfast was so enjoyable, made from fresh ingredients and also allowing us tourist to enjoy local foods and they were all delicious! We received cute keychains as gifts for my boys and they loved ut. So thoughtful of them. Thank you so much for giving us a beautiful experience.

Fabulous Hotel This hotel never ceases to amaze me and my family. What makes this hotel different from other hotels is not only its location, amenities, and cleanliness, but also the warm hospitality and superb service provided by the staff. Location-wise, it's strategically located to scenic places as stated in the hotel landmarks, which are accessible by foot. The hotel staff is not only attentive and informative but also quick to response to guests needs, from the front desk to the cleaners. What I love about this hotel is the laundry service. The hotel provides the service of collecting your laundry from the dryer and sending it to your room. This is a big plus, as it frees the guests of the time needed for the laundry to be done. The bathroom is a bit compact, but the rooms are very clean. Another big plus is the artificial intelligence in the room. With just a command or a flick of the switch, the curtains can be opened or closed, music and TV turned on, etc. Love the hot and cold water dispenser provided in the room. Breakfast is sumptuous from western to eastern. At the end of our three-day stay, we were upgraded to two larger rooms, and complimentary breakfast was given. Thank you for making our stay memorable and amazing.

The hotel offered discount tickets to attractions but when I checked into my next hotel, the next hotel offered even cheaper tickets for the same attractions, and my cab driver also offered cheaper tickets.

Clean and spacious room. Nice electric bikes to rent, 30¥ per day. 10min on the motor bike to get to the town centre. Surrounded by restaurants, grocery little shops, and street vendors. Guest laundry, with easy access and available. Overall is a very nice place to stay. Beautiful view. Staff doesn't speak English, but they use the translator to communicate.

The best hotel out of the 10 we stayed in Guangxi. The room is really nice, with great design and spacious. Breakfast has good variety and the staff at the reception are so friendly and helpful. They are patient with our queries, and even helped us switched rooms fuss free, not one but twice cos cigarette smoke somehow get into our rooms. We stayed 2 nights and really enjoyed the stay. It is located between Liu Sanjie and West street, and you can either walk or cab to these 2 venues. Good amenities for kids too.

The hotel is very clean and the room has no smell of smoke at all which we really appreciate. Shower pressure is strong. All amenities are provided even kids toothbrush and slippers. There’s self service laundry at the ground floor for a small fee. There’s a simple breakfast provided consisting of porridge, buns, vegetables and boiled eggs, soy milk and a fruit. Location is great within walking distance to the malls and 西关 night market. We also walked to the Aqua market for the fire show at night. There are many eateries around the hotel.

The hotel is situated along a small road next to the river, so I could hear street noises in the daytime, but the street was quiet with minimal activities in the evening. Close to the hotel were many restaurants offering affordable food, and convenient stores. The touristy West Street 西街，was just 5 minutes’ walk away. What I liked most about this hotel was the viewing gallery and restaurant (also cafe and bar) at the rooftop, where I viewed a magnificent sunrise, and had dinner while gazing at the picturesque scenary. The food was good. I will stay in this hotel again should I re-visit Yangshuo.

Beyond my expectation. Service is at tip top. Walkable to many places of interest within 400m. The receptionists were so helpful giving directions as where to go and assist to call for cab anytime i needed the service. Remarkable housekeeper aunty, asking me need not wait for my laundry as she will make sure it is all done and will deliver to my room, she even drop me a note after sending the laundry on my bed. Got a upgraded family room which was spacious and on the high floor. The hotel 7th floor has a small pool and nice view of the Jingjang Wangfu background and the ancient city. They do served tea at 3pm with some nice cookies and desserts, breakfast was awesome with order to make famous Guilin Noodle soup. I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Holiday Inn Express in Guilin, and overall, it was a delightful experience. The hotel is conveniently located, making it easy to explore the beautiful surroundings of Guilin. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, ensuring that my stay was comfortable from start to finish. The rooms were clean, modern, and well-equipped, providing a cozy atmosphere to relax after a day of sightseeing. I particularly appreciated the complimentary breakfast, which offered a variety of delicious options to start the day right. However, I did encounter a minor issue during my stay: out of the six electrical outlets in my room, only two were functional. This made it a bit challenging to charge my devices simultaneously, especially since I was traveling with multiple gadgets. I hope this can be addressed in the future for the convenience of guests. Despite this small inconvenience, I would highly recommend the Holiday Inn Express Guilin to anyone visiting the area. The overall quality of service, cleanliness, and comfort far outweighed the minor issue with the outlets. I look forward to returning on my next visit!

Room view vs Customer Service. Pros : Credit to the lady who spoke English at the reception. She is a gem to the hotel, she went the extra miles to ensure our plans went well. Perfect, Xiaojie ! Becoz of her, we are willing to give 5 stars ! Cons : Lake view, almost fully blocked by the roof of the restaurant below, which is a total disappointment ! Neverthe less, stunning mountain view. Room tips : Go for a higher floor, the lake view might be slightly better. Do add some fake grass carpet over the roof for a more pleasant sight.

Like the location as it is smacked in West street. Views are awesome. Down side is that West Street is crowded and could be a little noisy as you can hear the music from the bars in the area but if you close the door and windows it can block out most of the noise. Also, a little difficult to walk on the cobbled street with luggages as car cannot enter West street so you will have to walk for a bit. Hotel provide free drinks/coffee/tea at the lobby. Plus point: my room have a bird view of the entire West street with the mountains as a back drop. They also have a nice rooftop for photography with pool.

Excellent experience! Very nice staff, very very clean, fully equipped. No smoke of cigarettes, the hotel actually smelled very nicely and fresh. The rooms are clean and completely new. Front desk lady helped us a lot with getting transported! Highly recommend! The beds are a bit hard but that's the standard in China, they're very comfortable still and new. So it's just their preference I assume. Loved the M60 Plus toilet !

Nice homely hotel with friendly staff. Can rent an e-scooter from the hotel and it is so convenient to sight visit with it. Hotel staffs provided lots of info on places of interest and can help purchase tickets at slightly discounted price. Hotel offers pick up at YangShuo main town area. Add the hotel contact number from trip.com on WenXin for easy communication!

Appreciate the upgrade by night duty manageress to their newly renovated room, which is spacious, which came with a huge super king-size bed. The photo-taking sessions that were offered free exceeded our expectations. The shots taken were highly professional, tempting us to purchase beyond the free pictures that were allocated to us. My wife was extremely happy with the photos and commented that the pictures taken were remarkable. Thanks again for their great efforts to make our stay memorable. Forgot to mention that breakfast, although it came with limited selection, offered surprisingly good local soup GUILIN NOODLE that surpasses many restaurant standards. An added bonus was the free shuttle service to the dock where the rafting took place and West Street, among other destinations within the vicinity. A gift upon our checkout was another surprise that delighted my wife and kids. On top of all these, the hotel is situated near many attractions.

Great place to stay when travelling in Nanning. The hotel has so many types of room to book which can fit for each requirements. The location is good, near subway station and there are two big department stores around here by walking distance. Staffs are very kind and helpful even we use google translate to communicate.

The room is clean with an average ambience setting if compared to a 5 star hotel standard . The location is ideal , service is good , breakfast spread is good with proportional balance of western and mostly Chinese cuisine.

Good value for money. The hotel room was equipped with AC and water kettle. Bed was very comfortable and hot water was always available. The location is very convenient. Only 700 meters to Nanning railway station. Drinking water was provided daily. Housekeeping cleaned the room every day. Many restaurants and shops can be found next to the hotel.

The stay at Marriot has been very comfortable that we decided to extend 1 more night. Service are exceptional especially Arthur and Sally, who had been very helpful. Arrived at the hotel in the morning but Sally helped to arrange a clean room for early check in. Arthur helped to resolve the card and room extension. Will come back again!

Walking distance to wuxu airport and bullet train Wifi barely works, hotel shops were closed T3 airport being built and was some noise 24Hrs First 2 rooms smelt of wet carpet from the floods but hotel staff allowed us to choose another room to our satisfaction

I had a wonderful time at Nanning Hotel! The hotel itself is beautiful, but it is the staff who made my stay. I was fortunate to meet Zhou Yu, the front of house manager, whose excellent English was very helpful. He and the other staff of this hotel went the extra mile to help me enjoy my stay. I thoroughly recommend the hotel!

Excellent location within walking streets but in a quiet area. Only 500m from Exit E of Chaoyang Square metro. Many eateries around and is a great hotel for first timer to the city. For longer stay, it is possible air laundry on level 5. Friendly reception who helped to collect my online purchase. Definitely a hotel that is value for money.

The quality of this hotel is pretty high, the view is great and the executive lounge is worth the price bump I feel， the staff all speak English and provide good service. the bed is soft and everything is clean. the food outside of the executive lounge is not very good though, avoid the burger. the club sandwich is okay.
