I recently stayed at the Loei Palace Hotel in the beautiful city of Loei for a photography tour. Kuhn Xiva Thong, the hotel manager and his staff were very professional, courteous and prompt with all request. Beautiful lighted park next to hotel for exercising or relaxing. Very good. This resort is too far to walk from the river walk/walking street, but we had rented a car and it's a very short drive. The trade-off is worth it - this is an extremely nice resort, the best we've stayed at in the north outside of any big city. The room was spacious with balcony and great river view. They provided a cot for our baby. The grounds are very well kept with lots of interesting things to look at (it's a selfie paradise!) Good breakfast buffet, everyone very friendly. Not worth dropping a star for, but I think the restaurant could open a bit later (the kitchen closes at 7pm but no rush to finish eating). Also be careful with the shower, it takes a while but the water can then get scalding hot and high pressure. With care though, it was good to have a nice warm shower with good pressure - yes, a contradiction, it's too much of a good thing and you need to be careful. Anyway it really felt like we were on holiday, it's a fabulous place to relax and honestly the staff were exceptionally friendly (it turns out that people here love babies, but they were always helpful anyway). If you have a car then it's easily the best choice, if not then consider it anyway but I can't comment on any transport arrangements to the walking street.

Booked Superior Villa with breakfast for 2night stay. Villa was well furnished, Tv with tv box, wifi, kettle, coffee & tea bag provided as well,washroom was big & toiletries provided. Only short coming is telephone not working in all rooms. Need to walk to reception for assistance. Resort was well located with a hill top restaurant serving adequate breakfast. Lunch & dinner menu also not expensive not to mention the good view overseeing Mekong river and Laos border. Last but not least very close to all tourist attractions. Sunrise viewing at Phu Tok, Kaeng Khut Kru just 10 to 15 min drive.

The hotel was in an excellent area for my needs. It had everything. However what really made it unique from the other hotels was its staff, and I am referring to everyone from front desk to maintenance, to cleaning, etc. Every one was positive, happy, friendly, respectful. I wish I had a picture of the whole staff together to send you. This Hotel is the best in Loei and that is without question. I would go further to say that it's one of the best kept secrets in Thailand.

Nice little hotel with quaint garden. The owner speaks passing English and has a friendly fat dog. My bed was good even though I prefer softer. A little far from the town center but it’s walkable maybe one kilometer. This is a tourist town but I was there in the off season so not many people around. But it’s a beautiful area to visit.

It was located about 12 km from Dan Sai. We stayed there 2 nights while attending the annual Phi Ta Khon festival. It's a large resort with many beautiful gardens and the room was very rustic with teak paneling on the walls. We stayed on the third floor and had some gorgeous views of the forest. But unfortunately the resort is located very close to the main super highway and the traffic was terribly loud during our first night! There were thousands of motorcycles and it sounded like a race track. We had a sleepless night and were very exhausted the next day. The breakfast buffet was average food for a resort.

The room was clean, and comfortable. Note to tall foreigners:the bathroom entry door only has about 6 foot clearance. Some of the staff spoke a modest amount of english. The staff is attentive, and helpful. The location is in the city, but may not be a close walk from the hotel. There are extensive street food vendors near the large hospital. The highly rated breakfast buffet has been replaced with your choice of meals delivered to your room at the time you request, due to covid. At the time of this writing, some area tourist sites and restaurants are closed.

Nice silent hotel. Quiet place. Green view from balcony. Food design of the rooms. Polite service with many small things to us. Visited during weekdays. Looks like we were only visitors . Enjoyed our stay.
