We were driving back to Beijing and decided to stop for a night in Hohhot. We're a group of three adults and one child, so I specifically looked for a suite or a room with one king bed and two single beds. After searching countless options on different apps (maybe I just didn't use them right), this was the only place I found that had what we needed. The price was quite high, probably due to the National Day holiday, but we figured we'd just go with it. When we arrived and parked in the underground garage, I was shocked by the mosquitoes, the smell of the grease trap, and the overall environment – I've never seen anything like it. The lobby was bustling, almost like the entrance to a shopping mall. The room had an older style of hotel decor, which I'm fine with. Once inside, I realized it was actually two rooms connected by a secret door that had been opened, essentially making it one large room. I feel like this should have been mentioned when I booked or at check-in. Also, the king-sized room had hot water for showering, but the twin room didn't have any hot water for a long time, though it was back in the morning. The breakfast was decent. Overall, it was okay; it's definitely a hotel in a bustling area with plenty of food and amenities right outside.

Let's start with the positives: The overall service, from the front desk staff to the cleaning aunties, was quite good. The location is also excellent, making it convenient to get everywhere. The room was spacious, and it even had a bathtub. Now for the negatives: There was only one duvet per room, with no extras, just a blanket. This isn't a huge issue, but the next morning, I woke up with fresh red bites all over my body and arms. I just wanted to report this to the hotel, but then 2-3 people came up, supposedly to solve the problem, and immediately asked, ”Did you go to the grasslands? These must be mosquito bites. Our duvets are disinfected, so there shouldn't be any problem.” I was speechless. First, we had just arrived in Hailar and hadn't even been to the grasslands yet. Second, if the bites were above my waist, would mosquitoes really bite me while I was under the covers? Do you change the duvet inserts for every guest? They wouldn't admit there was a problem and instead tried to push the blame onto the customer. It would have been better if they hadn't sent anyone at all. We didn't make any further demands; we just checked out and left.

I have stayed in many hotels, but the service of this front desk Qihai impressed me very much. The receptionist was friendly and the service was professional. Not only did they upgrade my room, but they also carefully asked me about my stay experience when I checked out. In addition, the room layout was also quite warm. If I come here on a business trip next time, I will choose this place again.

I had a great impression of Ordos Yonggui Hotel. When checking in, Xiao Liang at the front desk saw that we were traveling with children, so he arranged an upgrade for us, making our stay more comfortable and happy! As soon as I arrived at the room, I was shocked by the layout of the room, which was great! I also saw a fireworks show ➕ fountain ⛲️, and the view on the 21st floor was particularly good! When I left the next day, maybe the child ate something wrong the day before, and vomited all over the hotel elevator. The front desk also promptly cared about whether the child was okay. I have come to Grand Skylight Hotel more than once. The room is clean and the waiters are very enthusiastic and can provide the necessary items in time. The manager Wang Xiaoyu who contacted me was also great. Because I brought my baby out to play, our suite was specially decorated to be very parent-child friendly. Everything is available. I come here once a month and I choose Grand Skylight Hotel without hesitation!

1. I booked this hotel because it is surrounded by the city grassland and Olympic Park. When I checked in at night, I hoped to be arranged to have a room with a view. I left early the next morning and also visited Baotou. I was told that there was no room, and I was arranged to have a room. The view is shown in the last picture. There is nothing else to say. In the morning, there is a lot of noise outside when I open the balcony door, similar to the noise of the air conditioner. So it may be that I didn't encounter the kind of front desk who actively upgraded the room as mentioned in the comments. 2. Not only was there water in the kettle, but the bottom of the kettle was also very dirty, see Figure 4, which is not even as good as ordinary hotels. 3. The door of the bathroom and shower room faces the bed, without any shelter, see Figure 5, it is very inconvenient for the family to take a bath, change clothes and take things. 4. The biggest complaint is that the alarm clock starts ringing at 5:30, and I was disturbed and didn't rest well at all. Even if it was booked by the previous guest, it should be a basic operation to reset the alarm clock when cleaning the room. In summary, I booked a five-star (diamond) rating for the environment, service and facilities, but this hotel is quite disappointing.

The hotel covers a large area. The lobby is on the second floor. The parking lot is sufficient, suitable for self-driving travel. Opposite is the outlet mall and supermarket, which is convenient. When we came, it was already after May Day. I asked the front desk clerk to upgrade the room, but he was a little unhappy. After repeated requests, he upgraded to a zero-pressure mattress room. After we came back from dinner, we found that there were more small fruit plates and small foods on the table, and the water was boiled, which was quite considerate. The hotel's health hot pot is worth recommending. But it is far from the main building through the corridor, so it is better to walk around the outside of the hotel. It rained heavily on the morning of May 9th when we checked out. We parked the car at the door and called the luggage cart up. The staff saw that we had a lot of luggage, so they put down the luggage cart and were about to leave. Because there were only three women (including two 70-year-old people) and a child, we couldn't move it, so we asked the staff to arrange a man to help pull the luggage, and the staff said okay, I'll do it for you. Although they were all ladies, they slowly pushed the luggage cart down. If I hadn't asked to push the luggage cart to the hotel entrance, the staff would still be reluctant to help, but arranged for a security guard who was wearing thin clothes to stand in the strong wind. The security guard was very good and helped to get the luggage. In short: the hotel is not bad, and I hope the service awareness of the front desk staff can be improved.

The hotel rooms and facilities are complete, clean and tidy, and the hotel equipment is also very good. It has everything you need. The service of this hotel is very considerate and meticulous. This is our first time traveling to Xilinhot. We are not familiar with the local conditions. I highly recommend this hotel and will stay again if I have the opportunity.

There are 2 dryers in the laundry room, and must be kept next to it until drying, otherwise it will be wet all night. 2. The whole hotel includes a strange smell in the room, including the room. 3. The room to be quiet is noted. When it arrives at 11 pm, the front desk actively upgrades to a room that can be entered by the elevator. It does not look at the remarks. 4. Breakfast is really unnecessary, the variety is scarce, and the supply is insufficient.
