Hotel Pantai di Bali

Our stay at Paradisus by Meliá was unfortunately very disappointing, especially given the premium price point and the expectations associated with a luxury resort. From the moment we checked in, there were signs that service wasn’t meeting the standard we expected. We weren’t informed of the breakfast times during check-in, which seems like a basic piece of information every guest should receive. One of the main reasons we booked a Reserve room was for a quieter, more exclusive experience. Unfortunately, this wasn’t what we received. There were children staying in rooms nearby, non-Reserve guests were accommodated only a few doors away, children were swimming and screaming directly below our room early in the morning, and one child was even running through the corridor. The same issue extended to breakfast, where children were running through the dining area from the pool. It completely undermined the peaceful atmosphere we had paid extra for. To make matters worse, friends travelling with us who had booked a standard (non-Reserve) room were upgraded, while we, despite paying more for the Reserve experience, received no recognition or upgrade. That was difficult to understand. The room itself also fell well below expectations. The rug was stained, the shower drained very poorly, and there were cobwebs and spiders in the corners of the room. Housekeeping was also inconsistent throughout our stay. On one occasion, our minibar was emptied without anyone contacting us first, with staff later explaining it was a “miscommunication.” On other occasions, towels or bottled water were missing during turndown service, and one evening our room wasn’t serviced at all despite our “Do Not Disturb” sign not being displayed. Food and beverage service was equally inconsistent. At Kanna Bar, our meals arrived before our drinks, we had to repeatedly ask for glasses, and some beverages never arrived until we chased them up. The cocktails throughout the resort were also disappointing, they were poorly prepared and not what you’d expect from a five-star property. Another major issue was an unpleasant smell around parts of the resort that at times made it uncomfortable to spend time there. The biggest positive throughout our stay was the staff at The Reserve restaurant (particularly Resti) during breakfast. In particular, they were consistently friendly, attentive, and genuinely tried to provide a good experience despite the wider operational issues across the resort. It’s clear the staff care about the guest experience, but unfortunately they seem to be let down by inconsistent management, housekeeping, and operational processes. Overall, this simply wasn’t the luxury experience we expected from Paradisus by Meliá. While the friendly staff deserve recognition, the issues with cleanliness, housekeeping, food and beverage service, noise, and the lack of exclusivity in the Reserve section meant our stay fell well short of expectations. We left feeling disappointed and wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

Upon arrival, my mum and I were really surprised with the nice front garden . Looks like a real palace! The same view is inside - everything is full of grass, flowers, fountains. The hotel is so big that you can get lost during first days. The beach is well equipped with lots of facilities. However, it was a bit uncomfortable to stay there because of a lot of locals trying to sell you something every 10 minutes. I was really tired of saying “no thank you”. 5star hotel shouldn’t let this happen, it really disturbs from relaxing. The service is really good, every time you need something - they do it immediately. The internet however was really poor, and I couldn’t even call my family because the connection was really slow. One more thing we didn’t like - the breakfast. It didn’t look unique , not for a 5star hotel as well. I have experienced a lot so far, but at Ayodya I was even hungry after breakfast. Average home made breakfast isn’t something you want to have during the luxurious holiday. Sushi was a real “shame”, the pastry wasn’t tasty at all. The rooms were excellent , with balconies. Everyday cleaning was good. Thank you for positive emotions, we will definitely recommend your hotel. Hopefully you will improve your cuisine in the future.

We had a plunge pool room & requested next to a lift. We had the first room & the convenience to the bar, restaurant & communal pool was ideal. The staff are extremely welcoming, helpful & friendly & remember your name (& my husband’s shellfish allergy). I ordered Grab dinner one night, which wasn’t an issue & my husband ordered room service. The communal pool is very social, the recurring issue is the inconsiderate guests who place towels on sun lounges early in the morning & not returning until lunchtime but, that happens at most places. Our only gripe was the volume of the music/entertainment one night but by the time we went to contact reception it had stopped (assuming others had had the same problem). Can’t wait to return - next time with our 16yr old daughter & will likely book a room with the bathtub on the balcony.

Teres bilik sangat besar dengan pemandangan laut yang cantik. Walaupun ada tapak pembinaan di sebelah, bunyi bising hampir tiada. Kalau menginap di Cliff Tower, boleh minta kaunter depan untuk dapatkan bilik yang jauh sikit dari tapak pembinaan, kalau tidak pemandangan dari balkoni mungkin terjejas. Restoran Elara dan The Shore semuanya sangat sedap, tolonglah cuba pencuci mulut 'passionfruit texture' dalam gambar itu. Urutan juga sangat bagus, tetapi jangan pergi makan barbeku malam di Paon Bali, langsung tidak berbaloi.

The ambiance is serene and tranquil, allowing guests to truly relax and unwind. The cuisine is flavorful and thoughtfully prepared, while the staff provide warm, gracious, and attentive service throughout the stay. The resort is beautifully designed with lush greenery, creating a harmonious balance between nature and comfort. One particularly charming detail was the collection of books in various languages thoughtfully placed in each room, as well as in the lobby and by the pool. Spending time reading by the open-air swimming pool or on the beach, surrounded by such peaceful silence, offered a rare and indulgent sense of escape from the outside world.

The hotel has a great location and some of the staff (most of them) are very friendly and kind. We traveled as a family of 3 and when we came to so the check in the receptionist told us that our booking needed to pay extra for the 3rd person, which in trip.com I already paid and booked breakfast for 3 so was kinda disappointed and unfair. The staff told us to pay jut for the 3rd person breakfast since was a problem from trip.com, maybe if you are traveling you need to confirm this with both trip and the hotel to avoid this situation. Honestly the hotel needs to improve the cleanest of the bed sheets and towels, the towels looked so old and dirty, and the bed sheets were smelly as humidity. I know the area has humidity but we stayed in another hotel nearby before and no problem at all with it. Nice hotel for few days because of the location but you can think about it if you don’t like this humidity smell.

I had a great stay at d’primahotel Seminyak. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The location was convenient, with many cafés, restaurants, and popular spots in Seminyak just a short distance away. As a solo traveler, I felt safe and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. It was excellent value for money, and I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Bali.

Hotel service: Basically, it‘s very considerate. The reception staff will greet you during the dining process, but suddenly he will enter your room while cleaning the room. I don’t know it because I was in the pool and just forgot to hang a do not disturb sign in the entrance door. Also, knew that you booked the spa and they would call you again. But there is a mistake that half of my swimming pool was not filled with water the next day. I didn‘t know how to solve it, so I asked the staff to find someone to deal with it. Then I called a total of three times and saw a worker observing my pool and I was very surprised. Unexpectedly, they didn’t send the staff, that is, the waiter at the front desk, to explain to me that I had made three calls, and my three calls were within half an hour to nine words in total. It was not better than a reasonable time for them to deal with things, although there was no water in the room I rented. It‘s a serious problem. I’m surprised that they don‘t send waiters. It’s because I communicated with that worker. The worker didn‘t know English. He wanted to use a telephone translator to communicate with me. I was just asking him a very simple question, that is, when can I fill up the pool of water? He didn’t seem to understand. I think that since a guest has called three times, he should actually send a staff member. In the end, I saw that the water in the pool was slowly pouring back, but if it was really to the extent of Infinity Pool, I remember that it was after sunset. This is a beautiful thing. Facilities: What surprised me about the facilities is that it has a 24-hour fitness room and a treasure drink. In addition, it has a beach chair with sun umbrellas and a view of the sea by the pool. I appreciate it very much. As for the Spa, I think the price is too expensive. It‘s 10 times different from the price of going out on the street. Food: In terms of food, I really appreciate the different styles of breakfast. Although it is a buffet, every detail will change. One of the selling point of his breakfast that I like is that the color is very colorful. It is really first-class. The nutritional value of the food is very high. It is definitely not an ordinary buffet. There are some cereals, such as oats, dairy, soy milk, and some vegetarians’ favorite sweet potatoes, red bean buns, etc. As for the seaside restaurant, I also tried their pizza and buried beef fillet. The level is qualified. As for the food in the restaurant, I think it‘s full enough. There are also snacks on the first plate, which makes me very surprised. Surprised 酒店服務：基本上非常之貼身無論喺用餐嘅過程喺出入reception職員都會問候你，不過有啲突然係佢會喺清潔房間嘅時候行入你間房而我係唔知道嘅因為我喺出邊泳池只係我忘記掛一個請勿打擾的牌，然後職員會定期打電話給你例如係知道你第二日要退房會問你聽日有啲乜嘢安排？即係交通上嗰啲同埋知道你book咗Spa佢又會打電話嚟提你，但係有樣美中不足就係第二日我個泳池啲水冇咗一半，我唔知點解我就叫職員搵人處理，然後我仲打咗總共三次電話先見到有工人喺度觀察我嘅水池而我好驚訝，佢哋竟然冇派到職員即係前台嘅服務生過嚟同我解釋仲要我係打咗三次電話而我嗰三次電話係總共係喺半個鐘頭至九個字之內打嘅自問都唔係比一個好唔合理嘅時間佢哋處理件事，雖然冇池水呢件事喺我租呢一間房間裏便其實都算係一個幾嚴重嘅問題我話驚訝點解佢哋唔派服務生過嚟？係因為我同嗰個工人溝通嗰個工人原來係唔識英文佢要用電話嘅翻譯器去同我溝通我只不過係問佢好簡單嘅問題就係幾時先可以斟返滿啲池水佢都似乎聽唔明我認為既然個客人已經打咗前後三次電話嚟佢其實應該要派個職員過嚟了解一下件事最後我見到啲池水係慢慢斟滿返，但係要真係針到Infinity Pool嘅程度我記得係日落之後嘅事啦呢件算係美中不足嘅一件事。 設施：設施方面令我驚訝就係佢有廿四小時嘅健身室同埋裏面有寶礦力飲另外就係佢有有太陽傘嘅沙灘椅喺池邊仲可以望住過海呢樣嘢我係非常之欣賞至於Spa我就覺得價錢太過貴啦，根本係同出去大街嘅價錢相差10倍 食物：食物方面我非常欣賞佢早餐會轉唔同嘅款式雖然都係自助餐但係佢每個細節都會有變化而佢嘅早餐有個我好鍾意嘅賣點就係個顏色係非常之色彩繽紛用嚟影相打卡真係一流同埋啲食物個營養價值好高，絕對唔係一般嘅自助餐佢係有一啲穀物啦燕麥啦奶類亦都有豆奶啦，亦都有啲素食人士鍾意嘅番薯呀紅豆包啊等等至於海邊餐廳我亦試咗佢哋嘅pizza同埋牛柳水準係合格的至於餐廳嘅食物我認為係夠飽肚的亦都有附送頭盤小食一點令我非常驚訝
