Old Bled House

"A perfect, small and cosy hotel in the centre of Bled and within walking distance of the whole of Bled. Breakfast was delicious, staff were really friendly and helpful and the room was absolutely beautiful! Very traditional and super cosy. We had food one evening and it was delicious as was the wine (of which there was plenty to choose from!). Our family of four would highly recommend Old bled House!"

"The outside environment of this apartment is very, very good, and the inside is very clean. But there is one thing to note, the hotel plus the underground, a total of five or six floors, but there is no elevator. Our room was semi-underground this time, so there were not many steps to go down. If the room is arranged in a room on the second floor or higher, climbing the stairs with luggage will be a more difficult thing. There is no breakfast, but this problem can be solved completely. Lake Brad has a website that specializes in breakfast. Every day from 8 o'clock, breakfast can be delivered to the place of accommodation. There is a website, but it must be 24 hours in advance. We stayed in the room and found out that the local breakfast reservation on Lake Brad was written on the table of the room and found that there was this choice, but we did not book 24 hours in advance. A little regrettable. Next time you can manage the landlord directly to the website and book in advance. The room is very good, two rooms and one living room, two queen rooms. This is a bit different from the description. The description is that there is a big bed room, a twin room, and actually two queen rooms. The room was clean and comfortable. Very good."

"We have slept at Veldes B&B for two nights. The hotel is very new and very cozy. The breakfast is excellent and the staff is very friendly. Great option to visit Bled and the area. The design of the hotel is great, everything is super clean and the beds are very comfortable."

"What we liked: The lady that checked us in (I think her name is Tina) was excellent at everything she did. Not only was she working reception, she also worked in the bar in the evenings and also in the breakfast room ! It's a beautiful and both our rooms had balconies. The air conditioning was effective. The view of the mountains and surrounding areas from the balcony and hotel as a whole is amazing. Free carpark and we always got a space. Excellent standard of daily housekeeping. Other things to note: It would have been very beneficial to have a restaurant on site, as there are no local shops or restaurants in the immediate local area. You have to drive or walk down to Lake Bled. There is no lift in this hotel, and we did struggle with our bags on checkin and checkout."
